"Well, that's bad," Marvelous grunted to himself as it seemed that someone didn't take the hint regarding him dedicating things to buying him time. Then he saw the two 'sisters' have their dramatic episode. With a sigh, and muttering about things being complicated, he poofed before appearing right next to the force sensitive. "What happened? Be brief, but I should probably know now," he said as the sword whipped around and was in danger of causing god knows what. "She passed out, I'm not entirely sure why, but her spell is still going and it's going to keep draining her energy until it's purpose is done. In this case having the sword kill the soldiers. So until they're all dead her life is in danger." That was all that Katie was willing to say. As much as she respected Marvelous, the... other thing that happened wasn't his business.

"A spell that doesn't end until all it's targets are dead? What kind of idiot thought that one up?" Marvelous facepalmed. Logistics aside, he wasn't much for sadism, preferring to be efficient. The soldiers...well, nobody deserved something so thoroughly evil to happen to them. "Remind me to scold her later, now what are the odds that sword will just fly around and kill whoever's in it's way at this point if it runs out of soldiers quick enough? And if I can get it to a place without people, would it stop?" he asked in succession, searching through his ranger keys. 34 teams of Super Sentai, someone had to have something prepared for this, right?

"That only answered one question," Marvelous grunted, checking until he brought out a key. Katie would recognize it as MagiRed of the Magirangers, if she really was a fan. It wasn't his best idea, but he wasn't much for collateral either, all things considered. "What are the rules to this...spell."

"I'm no expert on this branch of magic, I couldn't tell you the exact parameters, only hazard a guess. If we could wake up Kat she could stop it. You're going to try and break the spell? I'm not sure what that would do..."

"I see....what, in your opinion, would be the quickest way to wake her up then? Otherwise I'll have to deal with teleportation," Marvelous grunted in an entirely serious manner.

"I'm going to try something, telepathy." <Kat, please wake up.> Katie hoped the telepathic communication would wake Katrina's brain back up.

Seems as there was no other option. Crocodile wasn't about to get swept up like some trash. Once the janitors reached the sand, Crocodile would gather all of his sand into a pile and... "Desert Grande Espada"
Much like what he had done to the sand benders on the surface, Crocodile would use element of surprise and cut down the janitors before they even knew what happened. After which he would reform and stand before the workers.
"I'm sorry, but none of you can leave", Croc said with a smug grin.
And just like that the 5 janitors, contracted through a 3rd party and unaffiliated with the Fire Nation army, all died. "Intruder!" the nearest worker yelled, before turning to run away. He tripped over himself, before cowering before Crocodile. Meanwhile, other workers were sure to take notice. Katrina fought against herself as she watched her sword kill with deadly precision and dark finality. It was regrettably satisfying yet somber. Then, everything changed. Katie, her very own sister, in a matter of speaking, kissed her. At the same time, a loud ringing sound rang through the air as Uden pierced a man's helm. Katrina felt her heart beat in her chest, living thunder. The cost of her spell spiked upon meeting the metal surface while her heart dropped and her mind went blank. And then, someone turned off the lights. Katrina's body slumped as the shock got to her head, however the sword would continue it's ravenous course, intent on seeking blood. It would not stop until the soldiers were all dead, or Katrina herself died. Fortunately, being unconscious did not in and of itself increase the amount of energy needed to fuel it, however, any further obstructions to the sword would continue to cause the energy cost of the spell to spike, furthering the danger of the situation. On the ground, the soldiers continued to fall - faster and faster. Soldiers ran, wishing that they were earth benders. But no further obstructions would come from the soldier aside from their attempts at fire bending - which only served to make the sword more deadly. If Marvelous and Katie had any intention of stopping the slaughter, they only had seconds to act.

Sure, they didn't deserve to die, but they had succeeded in bringing him out in the open and that was enough reason to take them out. After the attack, Crocodile marched his way to the cowering worker and towered over him. Crocodile knew he had been noticed at this point... but if he couldn't take this ship with stealth, then he'd do it with fear and sheer force. To make the right impression to whomever was watching, Crocodile would go to lift the man by the throat and raise him off the ground, slowly sucking the man's moisture away as he held his stare on any other workers present.

But no matter how much it slows, time moves on. And with no way to stop it, as the seconds ticked forward, the sword killed the last of the fire nation soldiers before falling harmlessly to the ground. And just like that the 5 janitors, contracted through a 3rd party and unaffiliated with the Fire Nation army, all died. "Intruder!" the nearest worker yelled, before turning to run away. The first worker he encountered was too cowardly to bother fighting back. But this wasn't true for all the workers. One in particular, refused to be intimidated. He stood behind Crocodile as the scene unfolded and picked up his sledgehammer, throwing it at the pirate's back.

The ground crew felt a familiar presence in their minds. Sparda was reaching out to the crew, <We have an emergency here at the watch tower. What's your mission status?>

The first worker he encountered was too cowardly to bother fighting back. But this wasn't true for all the workers. One in particular, refused to be intimidated. He stood behind Crocodile as the scene unfolded and picked up his sledgehammer, throwing it at the pirate's back. The worker's foolish attack would cost him his life. Of course, the weapon would pass through Croc's body. He had mastered his devil fruit abilities so keenly that he could turn into sand on reflect. How else could he have gotten so far in this journey? Croc responded to the assailant and fired a bullet of sand from his back. Not even bothering to give the man a look when he tried to murder him. After draining the man in grasp of his moisture, he let the body fall and decided that his show of power was enough. He didn't have time for petty workers. He'd make his way to the captain of this ship... The ground crew felt a familiar presence in their minds. Sparda was reaching out to the crew, <We have an emergency here at the watch tower. What's your mission status?> Sir Crocodile promptly responded to Sparda's voice whilst making his way out of the engine room. "Already having issues, Dragon? Shame..." "I'm taking hold of an enemy ship for mobility and informational purposes. The team is dealing with the ground troops."

As the insanity of the adventure had been unfolding, Edward very much stayed in the background and decided to draw as little attention to himself as possible.
