The April Fools joke is that for once I'm hopping off my duff for realsies and working the mod powers I apparently still have.
Seeing a few loose things, I figure it's time to try and actually get everyone in on the community. That's how the place was at it's peak and I still know some guys on a personal level from that time. Notifications for this thing doesn't work the best for me so gonna have to kick it manually and bookmark this thing on my phone. Hopefully the advancement of mobile online and shit can help us gather ideas better than randomly throwing out a planning board doc and hope someone bites. Let's try and gather the RPers on here and attract someone- the forum does have the advantage of not needing to move fast, but some kick is needed so things don't die and stagnate.
It's an interesting line, but I'm willing to go for it, scheduling's kicked my ass longer than I'd like so gonna fight schedules with other schedules. Primarily right now this place I think could be used for the following;
*looking over our stalled RPs at this time, gathering the old guys who are still around and new ones, then decipher on what should be done about em; continue from modified, restart em or scrap em for a concept that might be more interesting.
*Getting a lock-on of the fellow site members. Likes and dislikes, previous experience, and how often they really have to spare. From there we can do things like have an RP that has fast replies, will reply after a set amount of posts, or will update something on a weekly day no matter what. We'll think tank it and if you honestly are too busy atm, it's still nice to hear from you when fortune favors.
*Have fun. Tell stories, get acquainted, etc. Effort helps always and keeping something alive is a positive.
whether or not ya disagree, posting is better than not posting!
