Katie, Katrina, Crocodile, Edward, Spike, and Captain Marvelous report here
As the group soared through the air above the look out, a sphere of blue energy engulfed Sparda and his passengers. When the energy cleared, they found themselves flying above a mountain range, surrounding a kingdom. Sparda flew over so that the group could survey the area before he came in for a landing on the a cliff over looking the city. Things seemed calm enough, but there was a tangible feeling of tension in the air; as if one wrong move would ignite the city into action. <Sorry I cannot get you closer,> Sparda said to them, as he knelt for them to climb down, <But I think they'd notice a giant purple dragon flying any closer to their city walls.> They were hundreds of feet up, but still close enough to where keen eyes could see people moving throughout the streets. No doubt soldiers patrolling for intruders, such as this exact group. But what was more concerning was whatever it was the Universal Warrior team wasn't seeing. <Is there anything you need from me before I head back for the others?>

"Just one thing," Katie said with a smirk, "Does anyone happen to the name or location of our target? I'd hate to go assassinating the wrong person. It's a messy business as it is and I have a reputation to uphold."

The soul of a dragon burns in her eyes, it would be hard to mistake her for anyone else. If I had to guess, she's in the castle at the center of the city.>

We could assault it directly, but that would be messy. Either way, this is going to be fun." Katie dropped a coin to the ground and burned steel. "See you all groundside, we'll have to make a plan. Allons-y!" With that said she jumped off Sparda using her Allomancy to slow her decent so that she landed safely on the ground.

It unmistakably resembles a volcano." Katrina asked, without taking her eyes off of the cauldron below. The smell of the place was distinctly different from any other she'd been to before, though that was to be expected. Katrina eyes her teammates with sharp eyes, thinking about ways to blend in so they could reach the city's center without attracting too much attention. Then Katie jumped down into the caldera without a second thought. "I only hope the people here are a peaceful bunch. We could most easily blend in by procuring some native clothing."

Then Katie jumped down into the caldera without a second thought. "I only hope the people here are a peaceful bunch. We could most easily blend in by procuring some native clothing." Despite appearances thus far Katie Marek was not a brazen idiot. Okay, she was brazen but not an idiot. She'd come to her own conclusions about the viability of trying to blend in with the populace as she landed. They looked to have features that resembled those of East Asians back on Earth. Unless Katrina could alter their appearance blending in would be near impossible. Of their group only Captain Marvelous and Crocodile could potentially pass as natives. They didn't have any native currency so they couldn't just by clothes and stealing them or using powers to get them would likely attract attention anyway. Plus even if Katrina could use a spell to alter their appearances, keeping up such a spell for four to six people would likely be taxing for her sister and difficult to keep up if they ran into any unexpected trouble. No, in Katie's mind the direct approach was best here.

Edward looked around this strange place he had been whisked away to. He had no idea where he was or what he was doing there. Constantly moving to these non-local areas made him feel contaminated. He was starting to wonder if he could ever conceivably return to Royston Vasey without spreading non-local germs to his home village.
"I say, what's this place? I want out of this! I'll never be able to return to my local shop where all of you non-local people can't go after this!" shouted Edward angrily while snarling.

"Were you not listening to Emerald back on the lookout? You won't have a home to go back to if we do not succeed." Katrina eyed Edward with a skeptical eye. She could understand his apprehension, but Emerald had to have brought everyone here for a reason... right? Most certainly, everyone here had something to contribute to the cause. She could ignore Crocodile's animosity and Edward's anxiety to find out what exactly it was.
"If it's out you want, break the crystal Emerald gave you; go back home. If you can live with abandoning your team, your loved ones, and your world, then perhaps Kasumi and Emerald were mistaken selecting you." Katrina didn't know anything about this man, but she sincerely hoped he would prove her wrong and not surrender hope in the face of adversity.

"I just helped out a nice local girl, and now all of this riff-raff has been happening," weakly retorted Edward, before adding, "Oh, and my wife has been kidnapped by enraged motorway-builders. That too."

"Local girl?" Katrina replied, wondering if he meant Emerald. "If helping is going to save your wife, perhaps it is in your best interests to do so."

As the group moved closer to the town, they felt as if eyes were on them from all sides. Those with keen senses would even hear slight rustling, or breathing, or even possibly the beating of a heart. But these sounds were faint and came at random. Sometimes it would be as if they were in arms reach of someone watching them, other times it was more like an echo in the distance. Enhanced powers of perception, such as force sensitivity, seemed dulled here - like trying to look out a foggy window.
Of course, it could also be nerves.
Another interesting sign that the warriors might pick up - a slight amount of sand could be found scattered throughout their path.

Of course with a mother like Vin who wouldn't be paranoid? Add in the fact that she'd grown up fighting a war and had been raised by both her parents to trust her instincts and that only fueled her paranoia further. Due to the Force and experience her instincts were almost never wrong. She liked to consider herself properly paranoid. It was never just nerves. Having her Force sense dulled like this set her even further on edge. "Something's not right here..." She whispered to the group, "It's almost like we're being followed but I can't get a Force lock on them. Something is dulling my Force sense. Everyone stay on guard, I think they were expecting us." Tin flared to life in Katie's chest, she burned it with as much power as she could, flipping her sunglasses down on to her face to help with the harsh sunlight. She was hoping to use her advanced senses to catch whatever it was that was following them. She also burned steel in case this thing had any metal on it, and doubled down her efforts on her Force sense trying to get more clarity. In short she was doing everything she could to get a glimpse of this thing.

Katrina would stay close with the group and, assuming Marvelous, Crocodile, Spike, and Edward didn't have an alternate way to get down and join Katie, walk the long way down the cliff. It was treacherous terrain, but Katrina would be able to manage just fine. Once they got to the bottom, she took in everything she could; the distribution density of the people, their reactions to the group's presence, even the weather. There was really only one way to go, so Katrina walked with her allies toward the center of the city.
Where did Katie go? Katrina reached out with her mind in an attempt to locate the Jedi warrior. That's when she noticed the dulled mental awareness. Would it be enough to communicate or at least find Katie? Suddenly, the vampire felt very exposed. She could feel a certain presence near her, and she wondered if it was imaginary. However, she trusted her instinct even more than her thoughts. She kept a firm grip on the pommel of her sword and drew her Mistcloak a bit tighter around her shoulders, it's tattered length doing a pretty good job of obscuring her blade.

Katie felt the probe and cursed as it broke her concentration. Katrina would find that the group had actually moved ahead of Katie who had stopped short in order try and locate their tail. Once she released who it was who was trying to get her attention she relaxed slightly. <Kat? Have the group head back the way you came. I hung back because we're being followed by something. I'm trying to locate it but for some reason my Force Sense is foggy. It's almost like they are invisible. All I can find is sand in our path. Do you have any spells that might help?> In the moment where her concentration was broken Katrina would also feel feelings of unsisterly affection for her coming from Katie's mind.

Sir Crocodile hadn't had much to say since arriving. It wasn't the fact that Emerald's words had bothered him in anyway, but more that he was interested in what his team could really do. The Marek girls were an obvious choice for leading the group. They had experience similar to his own but Emerald certainly wasn't going to pick him to lead. In the grand scheme of things it hardly mattered who was in charge, however. As long as the team played the game the way Croc wanted them too, then all would go smoothly. Crocodile kept his eyes locked on the town as he followed the group. He had been coming up with strategies for whenever they arrived. Perhaps a tornado would catch the attention he needed to find the Fire girl, perhaps it wouldn't. Could still give them some answers though... Croc suddenly lost focus as the wave of nerves hit him. He could tell they had been spotted. What other reason would a man his size have this sort of chill? Whatever was going on, it didn't feel right. Apparently the Marek girls figured that out as well. "Maybe they aren't incompetent after all,"
"Someone knows we're here," Croc replied to Katie and the others. "We should-" Crocodile paused as he found the sand scattered around their path. He immediately knelt down and cupped the sand in his hand, biting down on his cigar in frustration. "Calling me out, ah girl? You think your clever. I'll show you clever. Nobody taunts me!"
