Katrina glanced at the boy, then at Marvelous, then the boy again before sighing. "Marvelous... These flame throwers are likely looking for us right now. The cloud I put up was only so big, we might only have minutes here, worst case! Do what you must... but do be quick about it." The vampire walked toward the door and cracked it open a peek. If the coast was clear, she would slip out and jump onto the roof of the house they were occupying. If not, she would stay in the house and examine the threat, if any. Everything seemed clear enough. The airship had changed positions and at least didn't have eyes directly on their location. But if the Vampire could listen, over the sound of the argument in the room, her senses may pick up on the fact that soldiers were patrolling close by. She had a clear route to the roof, if she acted quickly. However, what she didn't know, was that they had sent a single to the rest of the fire nation. More ships patrolled the skies, and the amount of soldiers in the streets doubled. If she was going to leave her location, she'd need to be fast and careful. |

"I could've handled it you know." Katie said, slightly annoyed as she saw Crocodile appear. "I was trying to lessen the body count. Killing the rank and file troops doesn't solve much of anything. I grew up in a war, so I learned that the hard way. It appears my diplomacy needs some work, my mother can talk a Predator out of killing her but I can't handle talking down a few Sandbenders, maybe I take more after my father than I thought..." She mused. Katie shook her head to clear her thoughts, much more important things were at stake here than her diplomatic reputation and which parent she took more after. "You can turn into and control sand, that's an interesting power set Crocodile. At any rate we should join up with the others, keeping the group split is just asking for trouble." With that said Katie took off in the direction she felt Katrina's mental signature in, but not before retrieving her scattered coins, there was no sense in leaving perfectly good weapons behind. Her sister was the easiest to find as she also had telepathic abilities, and the blood relation likely helped too. Sir Crocodile quickly reformed himself standing nonchalantly among the Sandbenders he had just killed. With even looking over at Katie, he quietly lit up his cigar and turned his head towards the airships above them. Only then did he respond. "You talk too much...," Crocodile gave a short pause to puff his smoke before giving her his full attention, "You are well aware of my powers now so you know the danger I face against these Firebenders. They will give me too much trouble if I go alone so I must ask you to accompany me in commandeering that airship. We can get a nice view of the land and will make an excellent base for the time being. But we need to reach them before the fog dissipates, so we go now." While waiting for Katie's response, Crocodile would open his palm and pull in all the sand surrounding him and in close proximity of him, letting the sand form a small tornado in his hand. "You want to assault an airship full of Firebenders? Dear God, now I know what I was like when I was younger... Let's say we manage to take the thing. What are we going to do with it? Do you know how to fly it? We don't know what kind of crew it needs to run. We know nothing about it's weapons or systems. I've been in enough aerial disasters thank you. I wish we had Vanilor or the Gokai Galleon... Look my number one priority is joining up with the rest of the group. Then we can come up with crazy plans." |

OOC: I made a post regarding the superheated steam, but maybe I fell asleep before posting it because it sure isn't here.  The airship that had attacked them was still in the area. The benders aboard didn't seem to be aware of their location just yet, which was a blessing. From the roof of the house, crouching low, Katrina could make out bunches of firebenders beginning to patrol the streets. It was just a matter of time before they eventually compromised their little hideaway. She thought back to when the ship had sent a burst of flames at them, and how her quick thinking saved them from the worst of it. Then, she recalled the steam, hot as can be. 'Risa' was all she could muster, her hand in the air, hurling up the hot cloud of vapor over their heads. Any longer and their faces would have been cooked to imperfection. Shaking herself from her thoughts, she reached out with her mind once again to contact Katie. She must have been with Croc, who was sneakier than Katrina realized, for she hardly noticed his departure. <Katie? Where are you? We've hidden ourselves inside one of the homes of the people nearby. Is Crocodile causing any trouble?> |

Would your rather I go along with his plan or try to join up with you and the others?> Katie was an experienced war veteran but her sister was far older and wiser than she was. She valued Katrina's opinion greatly. |

We hardly know what he's fully capable of.> Katrina wasn't talking about merely his abilities. Crocodile had shown some of his true colors during his conversation with Emerald, and those colors were raw and wild.
Katrina, still on the roof, sent what was essentially mental instructions to her sister regarding her whereabouts. <The guard has doubled since you've been gone. If... if you have faith in Crocodile's plan... I can understand you leaving with him; we are all adults here. But there is much at stake sister, and I do not trust him. Not yet.>

Not yet.>Katie followed the mental instructions Katrina had given her running at full speed. With this speed she could most likely avoid being seen and be able to join up with the rest of the group quickly. She didn't really care what Crocodile did at this point. Emerald hadn't even wanted him around in the first place so if something happened to him she doubted it would be considered a huge loss. |

They sky filled with messenger Hawks as more fire nation soldiers poured into the streets. The hawks landed on the arms of fire nation soldiers. When the soldiers received the messages, they called out and began entering the houses. They removed the families inside, either willingly or forcefully if needed. Once the houses were cleared, the soldiers surrounded them and burned them to the ground.
It was only a matter of moments before they reached the house that the heroes were hold up in.

"Not good," he noted as he saw how close a slash and burn team. He sighed, ""Someone else shut up the kid, new plan. I'll get their attention," he grunted before grabbing his Gokai Cellular. "Gokai Change!" he shouted before inserting it. "HURRICANGER!" the mobilate identified before the pirate in front of them was replaced by a ninja.  "I'll stall them," he noted before disappearing in a streak of red. His objective was to halt the burning process by giving em a target. One that they'd just barely be unable to catch. He landed across the street a good 40 feet from the kill teams, wary of their placement. "Hey! Looking for me???" Marvelous shouted, hoping to divert attention from the house that held his allies. "it looks like it, so why are you burning houses? Terrible property damage." |

Crocodile remained silent as Katie turned down his offer and ran off looking for the team. "Tsk. Fine, I'll do it myself," Crocodile said as he let his body turn to sand and let the air carry him toward the airship. He wasn't sure if he could take the airship alone, but if he dispersed himself evenly enough, the fire benders would never see him and he could scout them out before making his move. |

The fire nation was burning, as soldiers had been sweeping the houses. Smoke filled the air as flames burned in the distance. More and more troops filled the streets. Katrina, still on the roof, sent what was essentially mental instructions to her sister regarding her whereabouts. < The guard has doubled since you've been gone. Not yet.>From her vantage point, Katrina would have the best view of this. Katie would have seem the situation growing worse and worse as she ran to the others. Katie saw and smelled the smoke as she approached the group's location. She had to make sure they were safe. That Katrina was safe. She burst through the door of the house. "Everybody okay in here? We need to move. "We're fine , if we need to move lets move!" Spike was eager to get moving after his agrument with his comrade. He is ready for some action. While the group talked their plans over, the boy interrupted and shouted, "JUST LEAVE! LOOK WHAT YOU MADE THEM DO! I HATE YOU!" "Hey! Looking for me???" Marvelous shouted, hoping to divert attention from the house that held his allies. "it looks like it, so why are you burning houses? Terrible property damage." Marvelous's antics quickly got the attention of 20 fire benders. "There he is! Let him have it men!" The general ordered. 10 Fire benders punched, sending full powered torrents of flame his way in a wide arc hoping to cut off his ability to avoid the attack. |

Katie made her way up to the roof where Katrina was. "Well Kat, we need a plan, it seems the enemy is out in force and we're supposed to be leading this ragtag bunch of misfits." Katie uncorked a vial of metals and downed it, she was running low on pewter, savant status kind od sucked that way. She had to keep it burning. "You want some metals? I have plenty to spare. How are your reserves holding up? I saw pull out some pretty impressive spells. If you need blood I'm more than happy to donate. I know you don't like to drink from those close to you, but right now you can't be picky about food sources and I'll be fine, I have pewter and the Force."

Arriving on the deck, there were 4 firebenders patrolling the immediatearea. |
