"Yes," Emerald said simply, "And then follow my lead." A thought occurred to her, and she added, "And don't kill Strax."
Dropping the Sontaran weapon, Emerald bowed her head and said, "We surrender."
"Good," Strax said, "Now, take the warmer blooded boy away, I have work to finish with my patient."
As the soldiers took a step forward, Emerald said, "Wait! Before you take us in, you must allow us to preform the, traditional, human surrender... Ritual."
The aliens looked to one and other, muttering to each other and trying to figure out if she was lying or not. "Very well," Strax said, "But be warned, do not try anything foolish!"
Emerald turn to Tundra, gave her a wink and a smile that said 'time to try something foolish'. She reached out to Tundra. "Take my hand."

The "don't kill Strax" part of the order annoyed Tundra since that appeared to be the one that almost dissected her, but Emerald was the expert at least until her next plan backfired. The sword drops from Tundra's hand and clatters to the ground before she takes a step forward. Emerald's interruption to their capture was surprising but once she realized that the aliens were just as confused, Tundra could see inklings of a plan.
Maybe she's mostly pretending to be irritable and crazy, Tundra thinks to herself and the wink cements it in her head. The 'ice girl' was feeling more confident than she had since waking up, not too hard a feat admittedly. Quickly she takes Emerald's hand in her own with a strong grip, even if she wasn't sure what to expect next. She just waited for a sign.

The Sontaran's watched curiously and cautiously.
Emerald gripped her hand in her own firm grip, though she wasn't as strong as the wolf woman her strength was impressive for a simple human. Emerald felt butterflies in her stomach as soon as their hands locked. Tundra would feel much more. "Get 'em," Emerald said, low enough for only Tundra to hear. A huge surge of power came from Emerald's arm to her own, and Tundra would feel instantly refreshed.
Alternatively, Emerald's eye grew heavy. Her grip loosened and she dropped her her knees.
The Sontaran's held their guns at the ready. "What's the meaning of this?" Strax asked, suspecting foul play, although he had no way of knowing exactly what was happening.

"Get em? That's yo-" Tundra starts to say when she feels the energy shot. The hair on her back stands in surprise but she felt great on the whole. She wasn't sure what Emerald did, but the fact that she collapsed after it meant she held off on it for a good reason. With the soldiers demanding answers Tundra knew she had to act quickly.
"Uh, the kneeling's apart of the ritual" she says, before looking over the soldiers. She didn't know how strong she was at the moment but she had a plan in mind. Like the pillar she'd aim to flash freeze, they couldn't pull a trigger if the gun was in a block of ice and crystalline. A good idea, but she needed an extra edge and if she had her way two with helmets were about to massively fog up while Strax was going to have a second ice age surrounding his head. She didn't care how well they were trained, she'd expect them to be freaked out. Tundra aims her hand and she did her best to will it all to happen. "You guys though, escalofrÃo eggheads!" she shouts, and if it worked she could explain the pun later.

Her plan worked perfectly, perhaps better than expected. The flash freeze affected, not only the alien guns, but also their arms up to their elbows. Strax was put on ice, while the two behind him could do nothing to remove their helmets, rendering them both completely blind.
"Strax," Emerald managed, but her voice was weak. It wasn't as if she was injured, she wasn't short on breath. It was more like she hadn't slept in days, and was doing everything she could to stay awake. "Strax is a friend... He... Will be... Someday. "

Tundra didn't know what to say to emerald, so she decides deciphering her words could happen when they're not in the heart of an alien spaceship. Picking up the dropped stick emerald had and replacing her ally's sword, Tundra quickly hoists up Emerald over her shoulder, supercharged and ready to take the hard way out.
"Ok, I don't know what you did but I am going to need you to stay conscious girl. You give directions, I'll handle the rest." she grunts before making a bee-line past her would-be captures.

Outside the room, Tundra would find herself in a long corridor. It was made of mostly blue metal, much like the helmets and armor the Sontarans wore. It looked as if they were in the belly of a spaceship. There was no sign of another room, or even another life form. "Wait... We need to think..." Emerald said, "Set me down... Hand me my sword..."

"Think? Now you want to think...." Tundra grunts before propping her up against a wall. She forks over the sword, doubting she could even lift it at this point before watching the corridors. "So where do we go from here?" she asks while looking over the staff, trying to gauge which button did what.

Emerald used the sword as a make-shift cane. Closing her eyes, the jewel on the pommel of her sword began to glow. In an instant, Emerald stood tall. She stretched her arms out and let out a yawn, as if she'd woken up from a good night sleep.
"Sorry about that," Emerald said smiling, "Don't think I'll be doing that again. At lest not today. Oh, and sorry I didn't ask before, had a lot to take in. What happened? Before I showed up I mean." Emerald began pacing around, "But, to answer your question, we need to find a cafeteria. I still need to get my strength up. Gave you a bit more than I thought; hell, I had a bit more than I thought left in me."

"Yeah, let's raid their food supply that's a wonderful idea..." Tundra says sarcastically. "Well, why can't you do whatever you did again? Like what was it, can you only do it twice or something?" she asks, more confused about this girl by the moment.

"Well, no, I can do it again," Emerald said, her mind racing as she attempted to figure out how to explain it, "Okay, I'm magic... Er, I know magic. And, one of the tricks I can do is transfer my energy to someone else, or store it in jewels." She tapped the jewel on her sword, "When I found you, I was running pretty low on power, so low I would have useless in a fight. I figured, if I combined what I had left with what you had left, you'd have enough strength to get us out..."
The two Sontarans who Tundra blinded were still stumbling around in the door. Emerald pressed her hand against the three fingered button that was the door switch. There was a loud thud as a soldier walked into the door, "Freeze the door?" Emerald asked.
"Anyway," Emerald kept talking I gave you my energy, and kept just enough to stay conscious. Turns out I had more power left than I thought, and I gave up more power than I thought. But, I always keep a back-up source of power. Except now my emergency fuel is depleted. Problem is, I feel like I was up for about a week, with only a power nap to keep me going. Without anything to draw power from, I need either a lot of sleep, or some food to restore my strength."

"Right..." there wasn't a lot to say to an explanation like that- she described everything well enough and she didn't exactly have any questions that didn't involve "how does that even work?" so she accepted it and iced the door in a way that they'd have to overcome the mechanism having been frozen over once they realized it wasn't going to budge. Then she returns to Emerald.
"Well, that's not the most insane thing I've ever heard. Cafeteria it is" she mutters, before amending her statement. "Alright, you lead the way. We got ten minutes, five if they're on our asses then we leave with no excuses. If that happens I'll see about radioing for backup to bring you a snickers bar or something...you do have a phone or radio waiting outside right?" she asks hopefully.

Emerald considered placing an enchantment on the door to help keep it sealed longer, but it was all she could do to keep going at this point. She decided against it.
"Um, well, yes... and no," she said, shifting a bit uncomfortably, "We really should get moving, but they sort of... have my... equipment." She let the words hang in the air for a moment. She then held up a key that she wore as a necklace, "It's all locked, so they can't do anything with it... But we're not exactly going to be able to go anywhere or call for help. Afraid it's just you and me until we figure something out."
Emerald started walking, hoping to distract from the news she just dropped, also to cover up for the fact that she actually had no idea what she was doing. "Oh, and by the way, what's a snickers?"

"This equipment, is how you got is here isn't it?" Tundra mutters after taking a moment to massage her temple. This rescue was turning out be around a 3. Tops. She starts following Emerald, silent as she led the way. They could work out the escape part oft he escape plan when they got to it, but if lunch would power up the persian girl then that was the smartest thing to do. When Emerald took a moment asked though...
"Tell ya what, if we survive this I'll get you a snickers bar myself" she snarks, not looking very happy with the situation. "Just keep your eyes forward, an tell me which way we're going, I got point because of this blaster...assuming I can figure out how this works" she mutters, fiddling with the staff-like design more more.

Emerald knew that 'I don't know' wasn't an answer that would put her rescuee in a better mood. "Well, definitely not to my ship, that thing's going to be guarded by ever Sontaran and their mother... Or, rather, every Sontaran and their 'Genetic Template For Their Clone Batch'. So, I figure we go, find a Sontaran - hopefully one whose alone, and beat the crap out of him until he tells us where the food is."
