Bridge: "It's about what you'd expect from a capital ship. But we still outgun them, they're trying to evad and outmaneuver us more than slug it out."
Space: Lynx banked away leading the fighter right into Book's guns. The shields sparked but held, as the enemy fighter looped around trying to maneuver to Book's side.
Lynx dove on the craft giving him another barrage of gunfire. The enemy pilot once again swapped targets trying to go for Lynx and leaving himself vulnerable to Book again.
Landing Party: Solus was successful in drawing attention away from Dogar, but a lot of gunfire was being directed his way. A large Pantheurian merc suddenly slammed into him, the feline drew his hand back to slash his claws into the Daedalian.
Meanwhile Dogar's throw landed the grenade in the mdsts of a fireteam. The grenade exploded taking some scum with it. Destiny would see several figures retreating away from the thicket, she Dogar and two marines were closest to the retreating slavers.
Larkin and Stacy meanwhile would notice the enemy fire slack off after the explosion, now was as good a time to regroup and move up as ever. Satheera was sighting down her scope. "I'm still seeing some hostiles, but they're on the retreat." A few parting shots were being fired by the retreating mercs.
Felicity The young tactition now had less stress to think as the mercs seemed to be retreating, no doubt to regroup and spread word about the Alliance landing. Now was the time for some planning

Maharil had taken cover immediately when the bullets flyed against the landing party, she knew she wasn't the best one equipped but her other friends were. She was glad it didn't seem to last long as the mercenaries were running. Still, Maharil's eyes focused. She was able to grab a rifle, so she sighted it with intent to use. If any of them were foolish enough to be in range of the odd Pantheurian, her dad had taught her well enough how to plink off varmints and she would fire back with better accuracy- how better she'd find out.

Bridge: "Then we want to disable their thrusters. I want them sitting ducks if we can manage it," Commander Remington barked out before nodding, thanking the Officer for being so thorough as she went to position to see if they had anything that would be optimal for knocking out their escape.
Landing Party: *Destiny: This wasn't her place, it really wasn't, but Destiny saw the men escaping and she couldn't help herself. "Two seconds to sit down or I fire!" the Warrant Officer shouted, raising her combat pistol. If they tried anything funny, she'd fire too. She was more lover, than fighter, but some people didn't deserve more than a blaster shot to the back from her experience.
*Larkin: "Good good," Larkin told Satheera, glad they got a decisive upper-hand so far. He looked to any marines that were packing heavy armor or weapons and gave a hand signal for them to group up around him so they could have something of an advancing wall. He did have the heavy repeater, which he used to give off some supressive fire in the direction of those retreating shots.
