It's my first time trying this, I hope I did well. Also, would it be beneficial to plot out some sort of map, so we know who borders who? If this is set on Earth the Romans and Crusaders should be occupying the same geographic location. Name: Numerius Sergius Tremulus Faction: Roman Image Avatar: Age: 27 Occupation: Decanus (Leader of 10) Five Primary Skills this character is best at: Leadership Strategics Swordsmanship Mathematics Diplomacy Three Primary Skills this character is horrible at: Archery Engineering Medicine Bio(At least two paragraphs): Born and raised in Rome, Numerius knew he was destined to become a Legionary. His father, however, had different plans for him. The son of a merchant, Numerius was expected to keep running in the family business, selling imported spices from the Muslim and Asian nations. Put through top-notch mathematical and diplomatic schooling, Numerius would spend most of his childhood on the busy streets of Rome learning the trade, selling spices, learning of other cultures. This all changed abruptly one day, when traveling a newer, lesser known, trade route his father's caravan fell victim to roaming bandits. In that short moment, his whole life changed. Luckily, the bandits only wanted the caravan's goods, leaving Numerius, his father, and the useless guards alive. Deciding against his father's wishes, Numerius joined the Legion as soon as they got back to Rome. Quickly advancing in ranks thanks to his advanced schooling, he excelled at making strategic decisions. Soon, he was promoted to Decanus, leading a squad of young Legionaries.

Okay here's my character sheet: Name: Hansel, Schultz Faction: Crusaders Image: Age: 30 Occupation: Weapon master/blacksmith Best Skills: Teaching Swordsmaship camping Polearms Blacksmithing Worst: Archery Farming horsemanship Bio: Hansel had a hard life, he was orphaned at a young age he took over his father's trade, but his small Germanic village was always under threat, he learned quickly how to fight with the local militia, as he grew in years so did his experience, he learned to handle spear and messer, eventually though his village fell from too many threats, he escaped and ended up in he regular army. Hansel's experience gave him an edge and soon he rose through the ranks becoming a full fledged man at arms, he's respected as being an expert with swords and polearms, and he's often called upon to teach others in their use, he's travelled far and wide and seen other cultures and their ways of war and thinks on how to counter them, he's a simple man just another warrior on the fields.

((I wrote ENTIRELY too much. >__<!!!! Let me know if there's anything I should change or take out! It's my first time---be gentle. >__<!!!)) ***
Name: Minnora Villius Vatia Faction: Romans Age: 25 Occupation: Former Inn Hostess and Gladiator / Traveler Five Primary Skills this character is best at:- Archery (Marksmanship)- Wilderness Survival (Hunting, Flora, Trapping, etc.)- Enhanced Stamina (Running, Climbing, Endurance, etc.)- Womanly Duties (Cooking, Cleaning, etc.)- Horsemanship (Training, Riding, Caring for, etc.)Three (Four) Primary Skills this character is horrible at:- Heavy Weapon Proficiency (Swords, Axes, Maces, Lances, etc.) (Clarification: This does not mean she can't defend herself against them. Just that she can't use them.)- Keeping Cool (She's short-tempered, proud, and a little reckless.)- Blacksmithing (Working heat, metal, and forging, etc.)- Swimming (Self-explanatory) Bio (At least two paragraphs): Minnora was born the only daughter of a patriotic innkeeper and a stern Legate in the Roman Army. From childhood, she assisted her mother at the inn and was taught the necessary skills to run a home. Since her father was away on campaigns so frequently, she also learned how to care for his horses in his absence. As Minnora entered her early teen years, her brother, Magnus, took her out into the woods and taught her how to use his bow. They bonded closely over archery and went on extensive hunting trips in the wilderness. Soon, their father returned home and caught the siblings, forbidding Minnora from following her brother into the woods as it was no place for a young girl. She did as she was told for a short while, but her father soon left home again... This time taking Magnus with him. Becoming lonely and restless, Minnora took Magnus' bow and slipped out by herself to train. Her mother was not a fool, however, and caught on to her daughters misbehavings. When confronted, Minnora confessed her dream to join the Sagittarii and fight by her fathers' side in the Roman Army. Her mother fell silent, hoping to somehow support her daughter without blatantly disobeying her husband's wishes. Realizing the opportunity her mother was allowing her, Minnora began once again sneaking out of the city at nightfall, stealing one of her fathers' horses for speed and company. After years of discreet training and daily work at the inn, she finally became of age to apply for the Roman Army and join her brother and father on their campaigns. However, when told of her plans, her father lost his temper and rejected her application. Soon, her father and brother left again... Some of her friends and peers also leaving to join the fight. Enraged by her fathers' failure to recognize her talent, she decided that she would prove herself to the masses of the Empire... by joining the gladiator pits (unbeknownst by her father, of course) . She entered match after match with only her brothers' old bow and a few arrows (occasionally entering her fathers' steed as well). As far as entertainment was concerned, the crowd was immensely disappointed with the mysterious woman that defeated her enemies from afar. And the few times that close combat was required of her, she proved capable enough to fight back with her bow and wriggle out of danger. While fans were far and few between, her prowess was undebatable. For five years, she remained in the Winner's Circle with only 16 losses total. Only when her father began pressing her to marry did she finally reveal the truth. She told him of her many feats in the woods and in the arena and how she had worked so hard just to serve her Empire by his side. Instead of expressing pride in her talents, he shunned her for them and forbade her from yet another thing she loved-- the arenas. He insisted that she stay at home with her mother, rethink her decisions, and marry. No longer caring what her father thought of her, she returned to the gladiator pits to find that she was now banned from competing. Realizing there was nothing left for her in the city, she took her bow and never looked back...

Hello everyone! After some problems in RL, I have returned and wow. Just wow, I am impressed not only at the turnout, but also the sheer amount of creativity I see before me in these characters.
Unfortunately, I won't be running it for at least a full week. I got a week-long camp without internet, playing scoutmaster to my troop.
This should also get others involved/character crafting if they wish. And give me time to accommodate our small army in the adventure I had planned, lol.
Not forgotten, stay tuned!
