Vincent surmised these auras must appear at least, if not more, as detailed as someone with fantastic eyesight. He nodded and listened intently, Victoria paying attention as well. The twins had never met someone quite as unique as Satoshi. "So you can travel the world, hitting two birds with one stone. That's effective," Victoria noted, earning a nod from her brother. "That's right! You can fulfill your purpose as both a Guardian and a Defender of the regions..." Vincent looked around at the group, they had all settled in for the moment and the pokemon were likewise comfortable. It was relaxing, but also strangely unnerving. "Is it safe to be here? Out in the open and all, I mean?" "To be honest I only agreed to train to become an Aura Guardian because it sounded cool, and to set myself apart from my dad. He has the potential to become one but never did. I had no idea I'd be starting my journey four years late because of it. Honestly I think my dad is still disappointed in me over the whole Pikachu thing..."

"Only? You're pokemon are awesome! I've always thought about being a fire pokemon trainer, but things just didn't end up that way." Victoria smiled and eyed Hazel's team admirably. She would have been unsettled by Magmortar's stare had it not been for it's fascinating shiny coat. When Magmortar dismissively pushed aside his ally, she had to wonder if the two got along with one another. The fact that it was a mistake went unnoticed.
"I'm glad he likes my pokemon. We always work hard when we train!"
"That's true," Vincent nodded, rubbing his chin. "I would even go so far as to say she trains harder than I do with my pokemon! But while she has greater discipline during training, I think I flourish with compassion. It's makes more sense when you see us train, our methods are different... but I'm sure we both have tough teams, regardless of method."
"Now you know my team is tougher, Vincent."
"Sure, and my team is more skilled." He countered.
"That's debatable," she huffed defiantly. Vincent let it go, shaking his head.
"So, what kind of pokemon inhabit this area, I wonder? Maybe we can catch a pair of Suicune on the way to thwarting the Iga... that'd be too easy I suppose."
Victoria listened to Satoshi, likewise turning away from the spectacle she was making. "Pikachu thing?"

Inara gives a respectful bow, she underestimated Hazel's ability to handle her pokemon- she'd be sure to apologize for that. Of course Victoria butted in. She smirks at her comment, a girl time was a good idea after all. Then she got into a quick argument with her brother, leaving the conversation again. Inara huffs before nodding to Hazel.
"A gym leader quality team? Sounds like you're going to be pulling your weight just fine" she smirks. "I hope they'll be ready for a powerful training regiment soon though, it's going to be about a lot more than battling".

"Pikachu thing?" Satoshi listened to the interplay between the twins and rolled his eyes. "Hush you two, you can both learn a lot from each other. A Trainer dedicated strictly to battling has stronger Pokémon than a Coordinator more often than not, that much is true. They have an issue with thinking power is the only thing and rush headlong in. Coordinators are better at lateral thinking and using their moves in creative ways, but put an emphasis on beauty over power. The best Trainers do both. I come from a line of battlers and Coordinators so I would know." "As for the Pikachu thing it's sort of a Ketchum tradition to start out with a Pikachu, my dad and grandpa both did, though not by choice; I had a choice and didn't want to. So I gave it a rather persistant Team Rocket trio to get them to finally leave my family alone before getting my Empoleon. then a Piplup obviously. He didn't take it well when he found out."

Victoria and Vincent took a moment to exchange glances. They'd both come quite a long way, and traveling with each other, taken unspoken and unwritten notes about each other's styles. Vincent knew the weakness of coordinators. Victoria too, was aware of the folly of trainers.
"It's different now," he replied. "My pokemon never focused on devastating attack power, but over time, and with patience, they developed into formidable creatures. I've had all my pokemon, and have seen them through their evolution. It seems like what I didn't teach them, evolution eventually did."
Victoria knew it was the truth. "I don't wait for evolution. I teach my pokemon to be strong regardless of when nature decides she wants to help. And as long as they have me to guide them, they have strategy. I might not be the most creative trainer, but I don't have Magikarp for brains."

Tommy watched the battle closely, enjoying each moment until it was over. Impressed, Tommy went over to Satoshi and the twins. "That was amazing guys, your pokemon really gave it their all," Tommy deciding to get more involved with the group now that the ruckus was over.
"I heard some talk about a base or something? Not sure how well that could work but I don't see why we shouldn't come up with a place to meet up just in case things go bad and we get separated from one another. Probably somewhere the ninjas can't find or get too. And as for flying types I have Scar, but he isn't very big so I usually just ride on Tartarus, my Tauros."

A central command or a safehouse is just the sort of thing the Iga will niff out and attack. They have eyes and ears everywhere. We'll have to keep moving as much as possible. We're only safe here because they so recently attacked this place. Splitting up may be a good idea down the line. I may be leaving you soon in fact."

Whether I go is up to Inara."

Gale stood up, and nodded.
"Yeah, we're way too big of a group as is. I'm pretty sure a group of about a dozen people can't just walk around without looking suspicious."

Gale dusted off his pants, and looked at Lucario. Was this about that aura thing he was told about? It would be interesting, plus he needed the scoop. "Sure, why not."

"Lucario is one of very few Pokémon that can naturally use Aura, that includes yours of course; the others being its pre-evolution Riolu and the Meditite line. However that raw ability isn't very useful. As a fully realized Aura Guardian I could train your Lucario and it to would be come an Aura Guardian and gain many abilities. This would take a long time though. So Lucario would have to travel with me for years. "I know that this is a big decision to make and you can have as much time as you need to think about it. You can say no. This isn't me making a play for your Pokémon. I already on a Lucario that I raised from an egg, I just left it home with my Swalot and Walrein. Now, you want to interview me? Start asking questions." Satoshi briefly wondered how everyone would react to the revealation that a Trainer as experienced as he was only owned nine Pokémon.

Hazel hated to interrupt, but felt it was important to ask, "While I don't think any of us mind you doing what you feel you need to... what are we supposed to do in the meantime? Did you really just gather us here to ask us to help, battle, and then leave? Or did you have something in mind?"

"Provided I do leave, which isn't set in stone, you'll still have Inara to watch and direct you. That and I'd rejoin you as I could."
