I agree and will restate it. This interplanetary idea is cool but would be hard to implement. I think we should start off on an Earth and allow our community to shape our world through our writings. I would definitely rather have another Khazan to deal with instead of a whole galaxy with several realms to have to write around. This idea gives ipus the option to build up to that world of war too. I like the idea of taking Earth as it is now too, but we could go back a couple years and have the introducing of our characters be the first piece of fiction for this world. It would really leap us into the theme of our world and encourage participation. It could be a type of civil war thing where the government tries to step in and blah blah blah, I'm getting ahead of myself but you get the point. ^This. Besides the fact that we'll need a place for our characters to fight, choosing whether they live in a "federation" of planets or a system of "realms", or both might make limit what we can do at first. I think we should flesh out our core world (Which I think should be Earth) with some history and characters first, maybe for a month or two, and then after we have an understanding of what we are dealing with then we can focus on the placement of our universe. |

Alright if I think the whole Earth based thing is good two  How about we just go with the Golden Age of comics? When Batman and Captain America, Wolverine, ect. were punching Nazis. That's when everything started, the U.S Government first created Super Heroes in an attempt to fight against the 3rd Reich, until the USSR got a whiff of the action and also wanted in, so they created their own Superheroes. Eventually some scientists began to sell whatever drug they were using to the public, in order to get rich, that's when Super Powers went mainstream..ish. However, now that people were exposed to others having weird powers, OTHER people, who were actually born with powers, but were hiding, can now come into the open without a fear of being prosecuted. That's when the whole "mythological" beast things come in. Vampires who were hiding are now free to be open, ect ect. If, and only IF, we allow the use of the whole interplanetary alliance/government, then Earth should NOT be involved in it first, due to barely being adjusted to Super Hero life. After a couple of IRL months, and many, many, many, stories, Earth can become popular enough to be noted, queue the whole Space Rome thing. |

So I guess we are going to deal with building Earth first and then move on to more advanced things at a later date. We can work from a determined time and maybe a specific place or places.

I don't think there's anything wrong with those teams. The names could definitely carry over, it would just be a matter of creating new origins and structures which shouldn't be a problem.
Treach, do you plan on kicking this off with an Rp, or what?

No names will carry over. The system will carry over, but that's it. If you choose to carry over your characters, that's fine, but they better not reference Khazan stuff. This is new. This is yours, not the FPL's.

PS: Seems I've been made moderator of this little shindig. I'm not kicking off an RP... Yet. But I am going to start these other topics that are closed and open up the character creator and start putting How To's for noobs.
You guys can kick off however you want. I say fill the database with a few characters first, but again... This is yours. No bosses this time around. Try not to kill each other.
