OOC: Here we are. I'll stop completely waiting on DJGambrell, we chatted and have an understanding up. Also again if anyone knows where Lawman is, that'd be good knowledge.
Hero Orientation room;
+State of the room: Crumbling by the moment.
*Aftermath of a brawl:
-Players: Nicholi D. Trake, Blue Fang, Emma, Star Patrol, Red Dragon, and Animalius Rajom & friends
In the crisis of the moment, Star Patrol would see some brave people step up to give everyone time to escape. Ice blasts and a liquid sort of metal coat the failing structure but who knows how long they could hold.
Animalius would easily be able to move folks but as he swathed through people who needed a hand getting out of the room he would find a good number of them were victims of the explosives with shrapnel wounds to the extremities. Nobody else had a chance of getting them out of there as quickly as he did right now. When it came time to figure out where to go he remembered the infirmary room that Abigail girl had taken him to. Meanwhile
Sphinx and
Trevor began to micromanage an escape, they sees
Nicholi the half demon wolf waltz up to Officer Vasquez. She turns to him and frowns at the sight of him holding a young fishboy who was unconscious.
“You didn’t do that did you?” she snarks though Nicholi’s face makes it pretty clear he was serious so she followed suit. “Sorry. There’s a medical center just a few yards out of the room. They haven’t cleared out yet I think, so your friend ca-” she starts to say aloud when Nicholi hears a voice interject.
“You should take the group of them there. Things are going to get real busy so a guide is not the worst idea” says...an invisible patch of air. Nicholi smelled something there and if
Kairi was nearby while in the middle of her panicked evacuation she could sense an aura outline. Moreover she recognized the voice. The figure uncloaked itself to reveal an anthropomorphic lizard girl dressed in SWAT gear similar to Missionary’s- Liz to those that knew her. Vasquez herself didn’t seem too surprised, merely considering the suggestion. ”Whoever was supposed to be their cavalry is gone for now. Good job to whoever did that big water dragon thingy, that probably helped” she says in a cheery tone.
Having less luck with evacuation situation was
Emma and
Blue Fang. Though the two themselves would survive with very few injuries between them, now that the adrenaline was wearing down the group might just start to feel a bit winded from surviving the heat. After the two have their exchange, the rest of the group was more than happy to move along. Cody would see his ‘partner’ had somehow gotten his hands on a walkie talkie. Moreover in all the panic and attempts to shovel everyone outside the auditorium, there were two bloody and very unconscious looking people at his feet. Emma calls her group into formation but before they could go anywhere she hears a scream from a familiar voice.
“My leg!” screams her sister Gigi. The slash on her face was the least of her worries, the impact from the attack on eruption shook off the obsidian skin of his and the female archer was unlucky enough, on top of her other minor injuries, to have a thumb sized shard of stone find it's mark inside her leg just above the kneecap. It wasn’t life threatening or career ending, but if Gigi’s reaction was anything to go by then she wasn’t moving under her own power. Baz panickedly starts to help her up and keep pressure off of the bad leg.
"It's ok, it's just a puncture. Nothing vital I'm sure..." the male archer says, trying to calm down her hotblooded sister. The mysterious gunman from earlier tries to help too.
“I should be able to perform first aid if we get her into a safer location” hs promises Emma. He had a first aid kit strapped to his hip so at the very least he wasn’t lying about that part. but Cody was on his own for a moment unless Emma planned on separating from her siblings. Cody's ally,
Red Dragon himself, would spot his sibling but on the other line was Albatross doing her best to feed him instructions.
“Alright kid keep calm, I can only imagine it’s hell in there but stay with me because I’m asking a lot. I’m going to be moving out soon myself because whoever did this we might be able to shove em back further. Keep me on the line, once you’ve gotten out of there with whoever you can just head out yourself and I’ll tell you where to meet. If things go wrong, this frequency will be handed off to my sister so you’re not in the dark...you met her I think, she had the exo-suit.” Albatross explains, managing to keep calm but there was a great deal of worry in her voice. Whatever was going on was not how she hoped her day was going to go.
*Keeping the roof in one piece(more or less)
-Players: South Star,Hirro Felidae, Maria/Prometheus, & friends
South Star and his friend Cassie were the workhorses in keeping the ceiling from collapsing but they were also exhausted from the sheer amount of time they had to keep it that way. South Star quickly spots friendly assistance physically bind the falling fragments of ceiling together. He could definitely feel things lighten up which was doing wonders for him and testing Cassie’s powers was a smart idea.
“Channel gravity? I’ve only really done it to...myself for levitation...but…” she starts to respond when her legs give out. Orion watches her pass out on the floor. Despite this, the extra straight still wasn’t nearly as bad as when it was just them two. If he wanted to change up tactics or cut his losses...he wouldn’t get a better chance than this.
Hirro and
Maria were the ones who picked up the slack and they were doing a good job of it so far. The section Maria was pinning in place happened to be a very important section, which meant aside from some falling plaster she was keeping most of the ceiling near the entrance stabilized. Although if any other major cracks occurred it was out of her hands to do anything about it unless she wanted to risk blocking off an exit, but Prometeo could likely spot it out in case they needed some directing. Hirro’s job was made that much more simple, a few sections of ceiling get iced back together rather quickly. It took a bit of effort on his part to get the flash freeze to have a strong enough hold but he was saving lives. Though around the time that Cassie Quint aka Gravity Girl passed out he’d see a big crack in the ceiling he could almost see up to the next floor through and now that was now having the full force of gravity on it it was priority to deal with now.
*Aftermath with a machine:-Players: Ursa and Minerva Rajom, Fortune & friend
With
Ursa Rajom none the wiser,
Fortune was happy to see he would not be getting repercussions for the near miss on the bear. His friend Drago was alright as well, it was a pristine time to get away...except Ursa was more focused on making sure the machine was not getting back up. From the looks of things it wasn’t but while he was on that, his current allies were more focus with escaping and he even saw Animalius leaving with innocents. Drago goes so far as to grab Ursa by the scruff of his neck and drag him off.
“C’mon we have other places to be” he says. Ursa would find the draco kid had a vice grip despite a lanky build and he was not letting go any time soon, at least until they were clear out.
Minerva coincidentally entered through the hole in the wall Animalius made and saw what her brothers were up to. The sprinkler system had finally shut off but it didn’t look like anything else was done in this room from cutting the cords.
Lobby;
+State of the room: Could be worse.
*Cafeteria/monorail station:
-Players: Felicity Fortune, Scarlet the shark girl, Kain, Trace & friends.
Kain still didn’t have much luck with the group, but he did hear something odd coming from the monorail car. The shark girl had gone off to inspect a rear train car...that seemed to be where the action was. Meanwhile
Felicity Fortune would note that there was a bit of a topic change between
Scarlet’s friend and the big beastmen she was chatting with...though she’d need to focus some more if she wanted to listen in properly though attention was not on her in the last.
“Will do mam” a large tiger beastman calls out before heading out. Two more run off to fetch extra water. Frenzy’s plan was as good as any, in fact that was the best plan anyone was likely going to come up with. The dimensions of the briefcase was comparable to a normal one she could form a bubble around it, she just had to hope the explosive could be contained. She just had to guesstimate what kind of bomb was in there. Meanwhile
Trace’s vision gave way to numerous sights. Various people from all walks of life, in one melting pot trying to survive together...in a food court. Their fast friend was long gone, Dave chuckles back at Trace’s comment.
“No it’s completely understandable, smart even. Just throwing some witty dialogue out to distract from the obvious dangers of the situation. It’s classic superhero stuff” he says. He was worried, but Trace felt it was not for himself. This attack was a big shock to most of the staff and while Trace didn’t comprehend how strong the defending heroes were, they were holding up well enough despite being taken off guard. Dave does take a second to point out the monorail where there were several types beastmen human hybrids of various sizes. They all looked mean and dangerous, which was good for everyone they were protecting. “See those guys that look like they came out of Furaffinity page? Island security, they’re real good too but if they’re all bunched up like that then they’re busy figuring things out still” he frowns. Trace could sense them, they had souls which might surprise him. They did seem worried, that’s where the action currently was.
*Villain Orientation room exterior:
-Player: Krystal Felidae and friend
“Believe me Krystal, I’m up for anything at this point” Tundra shouts above the gunfire. That was as good a sign as any. As for what was inside, it looked like a school auditorium, albeit one that was just trashed. Chairs were scattered everywhere, a big projector screen was shredded, there was something that might’ve been a podium but it was trashed now, and bullet holes ridded the place. Aside from the chairs there was no real furniture left; it was just each of the factions holed up and trying to not get shot. Both the ‘villains’ and the kill team had various makeshift shields up, a lot of them ‘energy’ based of some sort. Asie form that they were all wide open...though as Krystal looked on curiously a round of buckshot squarely connects with her forehead, sending her back but the forcefield greatly reduced the kinetic energy imparted to ‘bruise’. Despite this Tundra looks away in fear that her new friend got her head blown off.
Outskirts of Reach City;
+State of the area: Things are about to go south very quickly.
Player: Dark Lizard and friend.
The Dark Lizard started to walk to the source of light. Eventually it becomes clear that Rose was starting to get nervous.
“Hey I think we’re better off walking the other way muscles” she whispers back though before it had a chance to change Dark Lizard’s course he could make out someone near one of the columns. The source of light was a small fireball being held in someone’s hand without any kind of assistance. Whoever he was,
the pyrokinetic looked like a grade A delinquent and being in the middle of a forest couldn’t mean anything good; especially after Rose spoke up. “...fire guys tend not to have the best rep in this town” she whispers fearfully before the man started to look around curiously for anyone nearby.
