This should probably be pinned, like the rest. I'll start with The Walking Dead, since it's basically all I read. Caught up, at this point, after randomly deciding to read it, a few days ago. Kind of annoyed, now, though. Read 104-115, and Negan hasn't been stopped, yet. So I have to wait for more issues to come out, to see how it wraps up. Should have waited longer, before picking it back up, I guess. Still, good stuff. And he's an excellent villain.

The Walking Dead comic is fantastic. Only read a bit of it but I've kept up with all that goes on in it. Waiting for the show to bring in Negan and Ezekiel. Shiva better be in it too!
As for a separate topic, Thoughts on the New 52? I know a lot of people hate it, but I personally love it.

The New 52 has been doing great sales wise and it has excellent stories. The only big problem are the Teen Titans comic who is hard to get into and the younger teen heroes who have ugly ass costumes. We are more then two years into the New 52 and you still don't care about the Titans. It's sad.
I love this big event there doing with multiple worlds. The stories coming out feel like Elseworlds all over again for the modern day and that's good.

DC has done real well with their events as of late. I'm glad there sticking to the 'big' crossover event once a year thing. Really hype about the multiple worlds one too.
Yeah I haven't been following the Titan books but the new one doesn't look all that bad.

So what's up with that DC mega crossover event, Convergence? I heard from someone at my school that the series will feature characters from the Silver Age Earth-1 universe and the Post-Crisis universe. I hope that all of the old universes come back so that the DCU can be whole again. I don't like how the old DC universes have just been deleted from existence, effectively.

Yeah its going to feature a crapload of different Earths from the Multiverse and telling stories from all of them next year. You can go to IGN, Superherohype, and other sites to see the lineups. The fouth wave of comics for the event was the last revealed.

Pretty sad about all the books DC is ending in 2015. I was really into New Guardians, Batwoman, and Red Lanterns and it sucks to see them end. Just hope something good takes there place.

I can't believe that they are actually bringing back characters (or at least featuring stories about those characters) from ALL of the comic universes, including pre-flashpoint and pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths universes! THAT IS FREAKING SICK! I mean, it's like, who cares if all of the pre-Crisis earths were completely erased from existence? I don't!
Also, Spider-Verse looks fantastic. Jesus, there are so many awesome multiversal comics coming out in 2015. I am so hyped.

Yup that's going to be fucking great reading heroes from your favorite eras of comics and Elseworld stories again. DC has something big coming and I can't wait to see what it is. Marvel needs to get the fuck over with FOX owning X-Men. They have made great X-Men films and won't ever lose the rights or give it up unless they end up having money problems. How ironic Marvel is ending the Deadpool comic weeks after the Deadpool film is announced that movements are being made on the film. Just like they are ending Fantastic Four this year when Fox is releasing Fantastic Four film this year.

I can't believe they're still going through with the Deadpool film (which was first rumoured years ago) even though the Deadpool in the films is rubbish. And they're making a Gambit film too! Can Marvel not just reveal movie ideas one at a time instead of all at once? Sony I think are the only ones who aren't planning on releasing The Amazing Spider-Man 23 in 2056 (But I think they said something about a Sinister Six film, right?)

How ironic Marvel is ending the Deadpool comic weeks after the Deadpool film is announced that movements are being made on the film. Just like they are ending Fantastic Four this year when Fox is releasing Fantastic Four film this year. It's not particularly ironic. Marvel/Disney don't have the movie rights for X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Deadpool, etc. so they are removing them from the comics. Why create free advertizement that benefits a competitor. Or if you want to look at it another way, Marvel is removing the comics like a spoiled teenager throwing a fit, over not having the movie rights. It's not just Deadpool and the FF they are removing, they are also minimizing the X-Men comics(they don't have the rights for those either).

It's not just Deadpool and the FF they are removing, they are also minimizing the X-Men comics(they don't have the rights for those either). which is dumb considering the F4 are a primary marvel comic that has been around for decades. Deadpool is and extremely popular comic. X-men could actually use a decrease in the number of different comics. In the end while they consider it advertising for the competitions movies it will really only hurt Marvel. They lose revenue from those who already love those comics and once the movies come out new comic readers that are inspired to learn more about the characters will not have an ongoing comic to purchase. Marvel loses money due to it.

Never cared for FF4 or Deadpool, so I'm not too hurt by this. I do enjoy X-men but it depends on the characters, which book and which writer.
