DC and Marvel really are going all out when it comes to crossovers featuring obscure and forgotten universes of old. Check this out: www.newsarama.com/23923-your-guide-to-the-cities-of-dc-s-convergence.htmlThere's one thing though... Why is the Pre-Crisis Earth-Two listed as first appearing in the 60s? Surely it debuted in the Golden Age in Action Comics #1, right? Since all of the characters on that Earth from the golden age while all the Earth-One characters were the then-new silver age versions.

One thing though... Where's the Arkhamverse in that list? There were several comics that came out around the same time as the game Batman: Arkham City was released, and it is the most fleshed out video game universe based on Batman and the DCU. Though I guess with Batman: Arkham Knight coming out they don't want to mess around with that universe's continuity too much. Still would have been cool though to maybe see Bane mock his Arkham counterpart for his stupidity and lack of combat strategy. Lol.

So...I found a story that I have yet to hear a completely dissatisfied by anyone and my girlfriend managed to snag me a copy of the novel version...and it worries me. 1. It's written by my favorite author, Jim Butcher, author of the Dresden Files. ROM may have had Zombie Dinos, but he did not TAME THEM LIKE THIS: i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/4842905344/h7BD88BEF/2. Amazon's lowest rating of the story is 3 stars. 3. It "Makes Rino interesting" 4. Peter and MJ are married in it. Spider-man: The Darkest Hours Is it true? Is it a good read?

So the post-Secret Wars Marvel universe has pretty much already been revealed. We got Sam Wilson still as Captain America, two Spider-Men, Doctor Strange with an axe, X-23 as Wolverine, Old Man Logan, and loads more... Couldn't they have tried to keep this stuff a secret until the whole event is over?

It amazes me how everyone drinks the Marvel kool aid and doesn't call them out on things they do wrong. Why the hell are you already starting to spoil your new universe when you just started this event? Also a lot of these Secret Wars worlds I could careless about because how this Battleworld was formed makes no sense. I could keep going but forget it.
I am sorry but I loved Convergence. Also its time for that Darkseid war! DC is on a roll. As a Superman fan I am loving what they are doing with him. Nice and refreshing.

Also its time for that Darkseid war! DC is on a roll. As a Superman fan I am loving what they are doing with him. Nice and refreshing. I've recently heard that they are slowly turning the Inhumans into X-Men expies in the comics so that Marvel will be able to make a film about them with the exact same themes as Fox's X-Men film series but without mutant characters, since they of course don't have the rights. Marvel have been altering the main comics universe around the MCU for a while now, which is understandable since they want it to appear to be accessible to new readers, but the idea of them doing this sort of thing before the film is even out seems dumb. Granted, this is mere speculation now, but even head Marvel writers and such have suspicions that this is what Marvel are planning. If it turns out to be true, I hope that more people will call 'bullcrap'. It would actually be more awesome if they don't change the Inhumans so drastically for their MCU incarnations. It, like their Guardians of the Galaxy adaptation, should remain more or less totally separate from the rest of the MCU until maybe the last few films. Of course, the film should have its own respectable plot with original elements and shouldn't just rely on universe building, but Marvel Studios haven't really let us down yet, so, fingers crossed.

You have to admit though, Secret Wars as a whole has quite a few cool things going for it. I mean, a whole legion of parallel universe policemen Thors? Most of which literally only had appearances in single panels? One of which was actually made by freaking DC? Awesome!

SPOILERS N' STUFF BELOW M8
So, I just read about the ending of Convergence and how the actually infinite DC multiverse is back. This is really cool, but it raises a lot of questions. For example, are all of the universe's created after the Crisis on Infinite Earths still the same? What I mean is, do all of the characters from the different defunct universes kept in the domes remember their experiences? Are all of the old Pre-Crisis, Pre-Zero Hour and what have you characters actually back, or are only alternate universe versions of those characters created? I am confused.
Speaking of which, the Injustice universe was destroyed or something in Convergence, right? Doesn't that fudge up any of Netherrealm's plans to make a sequel to the video game?

I mean, how can the Pre-Flashpoint characters and such possibly still exist if CoIE never happened? How can any of the Post-Crisis characters and universes still exist? Did the Presence just think that they all deserved to still exist? *mind literally explodes*

No...No...Remember they went back towards the end of Convergence and actually stopped the Crisis from happening which is why they all exist. Crisis originally ended didn't happen. If it they none of them would be here.

But if they stopped the Crisis from happening then how did all of the Post-Crisis universes and characters come into existence?

Crisis originally removed the multiverse. It split the Dc universe into pre and post crisis. By stopping it the multiverse isnt destroyed and all of them continue to live on there own earth and with there own history

So technically, they aren't the exact same characters as the ones seen in Post-Crisis material and that they were merely recreated when the multiverse came back? Is that like what you mean?
