No, G4. You don't get to say go home. Calling someone inbred for late reasoning in a fun tournament match that they put money up for, that's what should get you sent home. That is goddamn ridiculous for someone who is apparently not on drugs. I am still feeling heavily tempted to give you a temporary ban to cool down.

I don't know what your definition of cool down means, but at this point, I'm as calm as can be. If you're going to ban me, it won't be because I'm heated. Honestly, as much as you might loathe it, it's still a free country; I can say what I like. Perhaps I struck a nerve with my inbred comment? I'll stress once more that it was a poor choice of words on my part. Edit: Not that it matters much, but I didn't call him inbred because of the late reasoning. It was because after one of my posts, his post neglected to acknowledge the facts of my post. Specifically, the lack of understanding made me question his comprehension. That had nothing to do with the scores, directly. ND10 I was only kidding. Really though, the only times you come around are in times of strife. Y? |

I don't loathe that it is a free country. I love it. You can say what you like...to an extent. I like to think your right ends when the other person's begins. Does Legacy not have a right to not be slandered on this site, by being called inbred? When all he was guilty of was hosting a tourney, giving out a giftcard and maybe not giving out reasoning for his scores until a bit later, which in turn seemingly made you butthurt?
I mean, I could call you a Klansman right now if I felt so inclined. But I will not.
Because it is not true, because it's ridiculous and because personal defamation like that is not needed. Why? What other choice of words would you have used?

From what I'm understanding, it's socially acceptable to condescend (indirect insult), but the minute someone directly insults someone, feeling get hurt. That's fine, I can live with that. Calling people inbred was a regrettable action on my part, I'll never directly insult another person on this site again, scout's honor.

Because it's likely not true, totally unnecessary, and you would ban me. As for what other words I would have used, had I the chance? Hm... definitely nothing directly insulting, or I'd be in the same position. Actually, nothing insulting at all.

As was I but I guess smileys don't translate well into sarcasm. Anyway, my interest for this site comes and goes like the wind. Stuff like this perks my interest and invites me to come back and take a gander. Maybe I'll participate in the next tournament, maybe I won't. Who knows.
Also if people were allowed to say whatever they want, whenever they want we'd devolve into an idiot-filled, argumentative community like Youtube or 4chans and I dunno about you. But that's not a community I want to be a part of.

Frankly, g4hardcore's request was settled - he wanted scores posted, so they were. He wanted time to suggest that the judging was rigged, he got his time. At this point I don't see any further need to continue this shitfest so I'm locking this thread.
This and another recent thread brought up how we want to talk on this forum, if someone wants to start a thread on what is and what isn't appropriate on this forum, go start it elsewhere.

I am willing to let things be but just dont handle direct disrespect well. Always posting and commenting is difficult with my schedule between work, mandatory OT work, and court. Its the main reason I mainly try to focus on the character of the month thing but still can't get it to the level I want due to time constraints.
Alls well that ends well. All is forgiven and Im sorry as well.
