"I'm not gonna lie," Victoria replied softly to Vincent and the other trainers. "I think your plan is a little pathetic. But hey, if it's been working so far, I guess I shouldn't knock it. I mean, it's more than I've been doing to stop this madness lately." Vincent facepalmed, hoping to the legendaries that Inara and Satoshi wouldn't take her brash words as overly insulting. "I think what my sister is trying to say is... Well, does your plan, by chance, contain any lasting results? Our pokemon are strong, and we ourselves are determined human beings. Surely we can do more than annoy the enemy to death. How did you know there would be a fire here? With the right Intel, I think we could do more than thwart their plans when we happen to come across them. Inara is the heir, or was the heir, no? I think we should seek out the ones who give the orders. And, well..." "Devastate 'em." Victoria finished boldly, emphasizing her point by punching her fist into her open palm. Their pokemon took the liberty of eating the food laid out, assuming it was okay all things considered. They'd brought food of their own, but felt welcome to the rations, unaware of how little or great an amount Inara may or may not have left. They happily and gratefully dug in, while their trainer and coordinator were distracted with conversing. Inara awaited a response when she heard Victoria's response. Frowning, they clearly missed out on her demonstration. Turning away for a moment, she takes out one of her Pokemon- an Ivysaur. Behind the twins, she whispers into Ivy's left ear. Nodding, the grass type stealthily activates vine whip and the dual tendrils creep their way over behind Victoria and Vincent....then they tapped the two on the back of the neck. If Satoshi noticed this she'd put a thumbs up, signaling him to give the whole "Ninjas don't play fair" in detail because the two could have easily been strangled to death if they weren't careful. Though their Pokemonw ere distracted, the food was good and it wasn't some grand plan or deceit- it was actually Inara's eye spotting opportunity and that might have made it scarier.

"If what you've been doing 'works', then why is it you're still fighting them? Why haven't you made any progress?"
"Victoria..." Vincent frowned.
"Maybe if you had a better method, you'd have taken them out by now! Maybe you'd have beaten the Elite Four too! Maybe we should seek out Ash and Dawn to make a real difference!!"
"Victoria!" Vincent shouted, embarrassed that his sister would speak so thoughtlessly. "They've been surviving. You see how dangerous an enemy they are. How outnumbered they are. We, I should say. There's no need for... any of that." It was then that the vines tapped them both, to which they turned.
Victoria folded her arms across her chest stubbornly. Her face was red from being taken by surprise, but she didn't acknowledge it as Vincent was about to. Dismissively continuing, "It sounds to me like you're either ignorant, or cowards. If you really had a clue--"
"Victoria Gene Archard!!"
Victoria paled. She hated her middle name with a fiery passion that consumed her soul. In fact, Vincent hadn't used it in nearly three years. She glared daggers into her twin brother, and he couldn't help but cringe, though he stood his ground. "Humble yourself. Don't forget that you nearly incinerated this town today, since we're bringing up irrelevant shortcomings. We've all had them. That's not why we're here."
Victoria turned her back on the group and leapt onto Flygon. "C'mon, let's go." Flygon only looked at her trainer. "Fly!" She didn't need to ask twice, the pokemon took off, kicking up dirt with her wings inadvertently.
"Satoshi, Inara, I'm deeply sorry. I know how she feels, but still... that was inexcusable, really." He exhaled, glad that his sister was taking a break--at least, he hoped it was just a break. Her pokemon were still there after all.

Hazel's focus was brought out of her own head and into to world around her. She noticed everyone else was briging out their Pokemon. "Oh, yeah, I suppose I should too." She said, loosing her Monferno and Magmortar from their pokeballs; which by the way she assumed were perfectly comfortable living conditions for pokemon. Monferno was still sleeping off the effects of the sleep powder, while the shiny Magmortar cried out pridefully. "Oh...a fire type trainer?" Inara questions upon seeing the two pokemon. She was impressed, they were impressive specimen, well trained and likely quite powerful. "Hmm, wouldn't have taken you for one. Still, I trust they'll be a big help" she says as he sees the twins summon their pokemon. Now she was a bit worried at them being overt, but food was laid out and hopefully they'd lay back and rest up. "Well, not exactly," Hazel said, "I mean. My dad and grandpa were both fire type gym leaders. Magmortar was my dad's prized pokemon. And me and Monferno fought off team rocket together and bonded so he stayed with me. But, I never set out to be a fire trainer, it just sort of worked out that way so far."

We don't need that kind of attitude anyway. Good riddance. If we hadn't been fighting them they'd have have four or five regions, not just one. If she can't see the big picture then I won't miss her."

Inara frowns, before standing up.The two twins saw a happy looking Ivysaur as the culprit, Inara didn't seem happy but she pets Ivy. He did a good job- she was a bit mean with that action, but she was trying to help Satoshi. At Hazel's response she turns back with a frown.
"I see...well, I suppose if it's what you think you want to do...and one moment please" As Victoria flies off, Inara had her arms crossed as walks over to Vincent, leaving Ivysaur to eat food with Hazel.
"I'm sorry to both of you, but clearly you didn't catch when I said exactly how the Igas don't play fair Vincent. If I was the enemy you'd have less than five seconds before you were choked out by those vines..." she admits, before apologizing again. "We want to attack more, that's why you're all here but we can't do it right now. We're not the most assorted bunch at the moment" she says before frowning at Satoshi. "He doesn't mean that completely, he just...we've both been through a lot".

"I know, I do," Vincent reassured firmly. "If what you've told us and what we've seen is any indication, it's tactics like those that we need to be cautious of. I repeat, I understand quite clearly... I apologize if my sister hurt your feelings Satoshi. Maybe she'll come to her senses, but regardless, we're family. I know you can understand such a concept. We're all in the same side, I think."
Vincent paused to look skyward at his wayward sibling before he continued. "I know in my heart we will find a way. Pooling our resources was a good idea on your part; if two were enough to thwart them, imagine what triple the numbers could do!" Vincent hoped his positivity would deter the two from saying anything too honest about his sister. Growing up, she was always the more opinionated of the two. "If we didn't both have blue hair, I'd swear one of us was adopted."

"Heh, believe me...I think I know a thing about not being able to choose family" she mumbles, though someone specifically came into mind. "We're on the same side, and our hope is to become a working unit but when the time comes to fight I hope we're all on the same page or Satoshi's right. We will be dead". Inara frowns, she didn't like saying that but it was the truth. "Do you think one of us should go after her?" she asks, she had her Pidgeot ready.

Satoshi knew he shouldn't have snapped like that but between the takeover, not getting to go home, half his team being in danger of heatstroke... That outburst from Victoria was too much.
"What do you say we all sit down and get to know each other?"

"I don't know," Vincent replied toward Inara honestly. "I can't know what she's thinking right now, but I know she has a good heart. She's hard, but past what you think you see, is what her pokemon know to be the truth. What I know. If you have any ideas, I only hope she'd listen to them. We're both fighters in spirit, but I don't intend on dying in a fight. Neither does she, if I know her."
Vincent nodded toward Satoshi approvingly. "I think that's a great idea."
In the skies above, Victoria's hair whipped around her face as she pondered her actions. She couldn't find what she had said to be appropriate in any context, but she couldn't see herself making it look like she was a fool by apologizing. Biting her lip anxiously, she looked down toward the makeshift camp with remorse.
Flygon peered at her trainer, sensing her nervousness. If she could talk, she'd comfort her, though the flying itself was therapeutic in a tangible sense.

She tried to pinpoint where she went, but if Vincent was right she should be close enough to catch up with. "Ill give her a minute before checking in on her. I do believe you about her Vincent, maybe you and Satoshi could have a one on one, and Ill have a girl talk. That might make her feel better" she assures

"I know this may sound simple minded but I don't need all the specifics at the moment. All I need to know is this region is being manipulated against its will by tyranical ninjas. They need people to stand up to stop this oppression. I say I'm in." Jacob continued to sit in the shadows at the base of a large tree. His Houndoom laying at his feet seeming to be snoozing.

As Jacob gave his peace, he felt something poke the top of his head. Inara's Pikachu had not returned to her, instead it remained in the tree munching away on berries bfore offering a branch full of them to Jacob. "Pika pika!" it cries out, trying to get Jacobs attention again after he stopped paying attention to her.

Jacob gave the little one a smile and held out his hand to accept the small gift. Pulling a rare candy out of his bag, he held it in his other hand like a gift for Inara's Pikachu. "Thank you. Here is a gift to show my appreciation."

Gale sat quietly under a tree, his Pokemon sitting around him, lying around, or playing with each other. Staraptor was resting in a branch above him, cooing in her sleep. Arcanine was licking Luxio's mane, Luxio being his pup. In reality, Luxio was completely different then his father, or any of Gale's other Pokemon, Luxio was a proud Pokemon, cold towards everyone minus his immediate family. However, the two looked happy enough, so Gale saw no reason to bother them. In fact, the only Pokemon that looked mildly bothered was Lucario, who was really wanting to go out and socialize. Lucario was a social Pokemon by nature, being attracted to humans due to their ability to give off aura. Gale saw this, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, it's ok, go out and socialize." He told Lucario. Beaming, Lucario would run off, towards Satoshi, sensing his strong Aura.
Meanwhile Gale would lie down, and look up and Victoria running, err, flying away. She reminded her of his own sister, rather bash, and hard headed. His sister was a Coordinator at heart though, so she found the beauty in everything. Kind of like the mix of the two twins he had here.
What an interesting group. Gale sat quiet under the tree, writing away at his notepad, with keen detail, he would describe everything that had happened that day, not missing a beat, he would take a bite of his sandwich. This is gonna be an interesting story.

Hazel felt mostly ignored by Inara. She frowned at the half response she got, thinking, 'But, I don't WANT to be a fire trainer... I just happen to...' Then she over heard the conversation with Vincent. Hazel somehow missed the entire argument and subsequent storming off. A result of being in over her head; she was too lost in her head. She decided to stay quiet for the moment and pet her still-sleeping Monferno, while Magmortar decided to dig into the berries.
