OOC: This one in particular is to help re-integrate returning players Tom and Blue Flame, I got 5+ posts so here it is. To everyone else, get to poking the folks you’re waiting on. Lord knows I already did. Hero Orientation room;-Certainly not getting any better.*In the chaos of it all:- Players: Star Patrol members Sphinx and Trevor, Fortune, Blue Fang, Red Dragon, Orion/South Star, Emma & a lot of bystanders.The feline cop re-intorduces herself as well with a 'Lt. Vasquez here' and looks ready to fight. With 2/3rd's of Star patrol re-joined, things might have felt comfortable for Sphinx and Trevor, but when the Captain gave out his orders he found several of the rebels took the opportunity to retreat. Three men had their weapons holstered and a 4th one was helping a woman who had taken a bullet to her arm. With Missionary and Trevor in tow, this left Sphinx with four fighters plus himself and there was no gurantee what shape any of them were in. Though at his question aimed towards the police Lt. she sighs. "Well, sorry Liz ain't here to say hi. As for the bots...GEAR Technologies Perimeter drone, newest model meant to provide extra security and firepower for the citizens of Reach City. Something tells me they're gonna need to work out some bugs if we win this" she snarls, clearly not happy about the turn of circumstances. "Seems like they weren't as armored as they were supposed to be though. How ya holding up on ammo space man?" she asks. It was more inquisitive however, she brought a shotgun and her sidearm strapped to a shoulder holster, a monster of a handgun with a chrome finish and a long barrel extension. Her outfit left very little to the imagination and cast doubt that she had more than a few spare magazines for her guns. Meanwhile, closer to the action Fortune entered the fray in the only way a swashbuckler could. His sword sticks right through the back of the machine that was battling Drago. His sword cuts deep, but he found the sword was eventually stopped. It was stuck in the mechanics of the robot and it seemed to fritz up. Drago backs off, using histhe flats of his swords to cover his torso in anticipation that it'd explode or something. Of course the robot's head twists towards Fortune before trying to grip the sword at the hilt and prevent the swordsman from pulling it back out for another strike. It was fairly strong as well. Though not as strong as the man known as South Star who unkown to everyone had been helping to hold up the roof so it didn't come crashing down. Helping out was his new friend Gravity Girl, who was able to make the job a little bit easier for him by localizing a few laws of physics just ahead. "Well...I'm glad I met you too Orion" she grunts, trying to compartmentalize the backlash her powers were giving her since all that force had to go somewhere. "I'm all for keeping together. Though if we're going to be here awhile, we might as well share right? Maybe one of us will get a brilliant idea and save the day at the last second...that happens in real life, right?" she says humorously, but at this point she may have been hoping Orion had an actual answer to that question. While the fight ran on and the rescuers tried to keep things from falling apart, on the other side of the Orientation room came several individuals who were just entering the fray. The Red Dragon, or so he called himself, looked on at the mess in front of him while centering his thoughts after a nasty blow to the head. Not a grand battle was getting him worried, one of the more disturbing aftermaths. As he spoke to the wounded girl in front of him, he could see the extent of her injuries. Some shrapnel from a grenade had dug itself into her abdomen, having penetrated a red superhero suit. A neat little grouping had drawn blood, but luckily as he yelled in her face she was able to come to somewhat. "What is it?" she mumbles, trying to be helpful but she also might be in shock. Nearby Red Dragon's sibling, Blue Fang, did his best to rally a team. He had to shout above some panicked screams and gunfire to do so, leading to a less than stellar result. He does stop a single gunman wielding a rather complicated rifle who was on his way out. He asks Blue Fang if he had a plan, though that was all Fang got along with a trio of archers- one of them was named Emma Fox. Her enthusiasm would be useful, but the 'monster' they had to remove was a seemingly unstoppable 8 foot lava man sing out of a pudde. "Well hell, I feel stupid about badmouthing fire supression arrows. Don't think the pointed type will hurt it much" Baz, Emma's older sister, grunts. Their sister Gigi was in the midst of checking her quiver, made harder by the torrent of water raining down. She was silent as she tried to find something that might actually be useful in her quiver of tricks so Emma had better get a clever plan about now.
Lobby;
-Packed as all hell as people really start to panic
*Infirmery/Lobby entrance:
-Players:Hirro and Krystal Felidae, Maria/Prometheus, and friends.
Despite the grandiose display of 'acting' from Maria, nobody who could have stopped them didn't. Everyone was hooked up regardless and safe, which really begged the question just how much in deep shit everybody was that the higher ups were going to go ahead and ignore them? Krystal got a very quick answer when she came up to the lobby door and looked othe rleft. The hallway that supposedly led to the monorail station was jammed up with a bunch of panicked and paranoid individuals trying to all fit in at once. Across the way was where the 'villain orientation room' was and Krystal's super ears could pick up light traces of gunfire coming from the otherwise padded room.
"This might be a problem" Tundra Wolf huffs before calling everyone else over to synch up comms before anything else happened. She sure as hell didn't have a plan. Kendra had her mic on and was eager, though she had yet to look outside just yet. The nurse silently gives a prayer to the group as they head out.
*Camera room:
-Player: Star Patrol member Kairi and friends(?)
Kairi's statement seemed to get their attention. Somewhat.
"Never heard of yor unit" the lupine man growls back, still wary. After a few seconds the woman speaks back.
"I found something" she says before bringing up some video feed. It was from not long ago- before things went crazy anyways. "She's here, I have a few notes about Star Patrol and a Kairi. Her and two guys checked in at the RCPD table. Seemed to have a nice chat with Liz" she grunts, acknolwedging the SWAT officer. She then reads off the notes about being from the future and the mentions of a 4th Reich along with her friends. Renard seemed very curious about the last two parts, but he shakes his head.
"Sphinx? I'll be damned if that's not funny" he mouths before looking on. "Alright we can help...if you give us a sit rep on whats going on in that Orientation room. We had an order to not send anybody in there until we have information...and that new Police Captain sends two Officers in anyways. We don't have a video feed, so speak" he says forcefully, but his gun was holstered now at least. He was in a talking mood.

Kain continued to sit at the food court patiently after handing over his briefcase/mech suit to the proper authorities. He was reluctant about it but it was best to comply for now as to not draw any more negative attention to himself than he already had. Leaning back in his chair, he watch the guards patrolling the area. On the outside he appeared calm and collective but on the inside he was pissed. He did not like being disrespected especially by such and arrogant woman like the one that had requested him to stay here. He thought to himself how he could pay here back later on for her rudeness to someone such as himself.

Ursa Rajom: It took a while for the bear to realize his water plan had failed and to begin to formulate a new plan. The only option he noted was the air conditioning, perhaps if the energy system was hacked... "Minerva, find a way to power up the AC." He ordered, as he tried to knee a soldier in the face. He then turned his attention back to eruption. He roared at him, trying to get attention back.
Minerva Rajom: Seeing no reason not to follow orders, she tried melting her way through a wall, to try to look for the energy room. She looked around for 'employees only signs' as she dashes around.
Animalius Rajom: Ani noted charging wasn't going well for him, and with no other strategy, he decided to follow Minerva and make sure she got to her location. If she failed to melt through a wall, he'd simply bash his way through one.
Scarlet: "I was making sure I got a civilian away from danger..." Scarlet said, noticing she was in trouble. She did her best to survey the area before finally asking what was going on. She hadn't been paying too much attention really, mostly she was just glad her mentor was ok.

Krystal frowned at the predicament. "Guys, we should probably try to get this under control first, because I think I here a bit of trouble over there." She points towards the villains room. "And it would be bad if that spilled into this part."
Hirro nodded. "She's right, we should..." He looks over to the closed Hero's room. "Hey, Albatross, didn't you get a message or something from that room?"

"We're super heroes, I think by definition we're supposed to save the day at the last second. But, let's try and figure this one out with plenty of time left..." he paused, took a deep breath, and doubled his effort. While Orion hoped talking could help keep both their heads in the game, he was well aware of how much stronger he was than his friend and was doing all he can to support both the falling roof and her. "I can blow things up, by over charging them with energy or something like that... We could maybe use that, but my control isn't the best. I don't want to make things worse." RED DRAGON'S COOL THING
Travis knew this was more than he was equipped to deal with, even if his head was completely clear. He thought about the people he had met already and how much better they could handle things. His thoughts then wondered to his father, the real Red Dragon, the man who had probably been in this situation countless times before; the man who single-handedly defended Heart City. Travis, as if he forgot where he was - or simply that he didn't care anymore - lowered his hood. Tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered to himself, "I'm not Red Dragon..." with his hand on the woman's shoulder, he kept whispering those words. A white aura shined over his skin, allowing his angelic side to shine through for the first time in his life. His touch would, very slightly, begin to heal the woman. |

Cody was caught off guard by the gunman asking him if he had a plan. Normally Travis came up with the plans or at least took Cody's idea into actual plan. "Um... Not really..." Blue Fang says trying to figure out a plan.

Emma rushes over as over hearing what Blue Fang said. "Seriously this is the idiot stepping up to the plate?" Emma asked. In actuality she knew this dorky guy had a leader inside him otherwise he wouldn't have stepped up or at least she hoped... Challenging him would hopefully make him act rather than over think.

Cody once again was caught off guard first by this girls striking beauty and then her insult. Figures she's gorgeous so she must think I'm a idiot. He grits his teeth, "Aren't you a ray of sunshine. You want a plan I got you one. Me and you sunshine we'll distract the lava monster you." Cody says looking at the man with the odd looking gun. "You and the other two arches sneak out through the whole the monster made then draw him out with the strongest fire you got. We'll be right behind it if you do draw it out. Then we can hit it with all we got outside away from people. Now lets go!" Cody yelled running off towards the monster._____
"Don't call me sunshine." Emma says running after him. The guy stops after there about fifteen yards awat from the monster and starts yelling at it calling it big ugly. He then lifts his shield firing cystal arrows at the monsters head. "You got to be kidding me." Emma says and starts to fallow suit but fires her arrows at the monsters neck where it connects to its torso. "Hey be distracted by us!" Emma yells as loud as she can.

Fortune: "Hey, give me back my sword you dumb bucket of bolts!" Fortune shouted as he kicked against the robot with both legs hoping to knock it back and dislodge his weapon.
Star Patrol: Sphinx and Trevor: "I've got enough of a charge left to do some damage." Sphinx said. "Why don't we make for the flanks of those droids? If we get them caught between our fire and those crazies going hand to hand we'd even the playing field."
Trevor spoke then, "What about reinforcements?" He asked.
"I think she's it." Sphinx said.
Kari: Quickly Kari rattled off the robots attacking description and the situation, "It's probably gotten worse since I left!" She said. "I'm not going to sit here in safety while my friends are in danger, either help me make something to short out those bots or send in reinforcements! I'm about to strike out on my own." Kari was getting frustrated with these people despite her own disciplined mind and despite the intimidation factor of the large lupine.

"I'm sorry, she was late because of me," Felicity chimed in apologetically as another woman whom she could only deduce was Scarlett's colleague, or superior. Despite her choice of words, the expression showed that she was nevertheless glad to see the shark lady.
"I hope you don't mind... but can someone tell me what's going on? All I know is ever since I got here there's been a lot of panicking crowds, explosions and stuff," Felicity remarked, trying to make some sense on what has been happening so far. |

OOC: here we are, anyone not updated here then please check one of two previous updates. And look at the OOC board, Deo's got some fun stuff going and if I messed anything up dont hesitate to tell me. I'll give it an extra once-over in the morningHero Orientation Room;-Measures have been taken, but nobody's quite sure who is going to win.
*vs a Robot:
-Players: Ursa Rajom, Fortune, and friend
At this point in the fight, Ursa Rajom's only real mark was a chassied robot trying to wreak havoc on two swordsman. One was Fortune, who had gotten his special sword lodged in it's torso. Despite this it was still operational and Ursa interrupted the immortal's attempt to get his blade back. His own dropkick misses as a flying knee from a 7 foot werebeast sends the machination skidding against the floor. The bot seems disoriented, if that was possible, but it raises one of it's arms and states
"Activating crowd control measures, lethal force *zzt*" before unleashing a wreath of flame at the two and Fortune's draconic friend Drago before Ursa could try and deal with Eruption...not that the man of lava wasn't covered.
*Forward group/vs Eruption:
-Players: Star Patrol members Sphinx and Trevor, Blue Fang, Orion/South Star, Emma and a lot of bystanders.
Orion and Gravity Girl allowed the situation to go as long as it did by helping keep the structure of the roof up, now the toll was really starting to hit the two. As Orion takes in the situation, she lowers focus and unknowingly gives Orion more weight to hold.
"Well..are you suggesting that you blow up the roof before it falls on us?" she asks, just trying to get his words straight. As the two try and find a more permanent solution to the unknown problem, everyone else seemed to be working on handling the immediate threat. The impromptu group Blue Fang and Emma was leading into combat weren't sure about taking the beast head-on but they follwed in line. Emma's siblings manages to get through line of the fire and most of the way to the opening. Baz and Gigi drew arrows on him after Emma shouted- they fired regular arrows because they were scarce on trick arrows that they thought might work effectively. Each one either glances off of the obsidian skin the monster had or coinnect with the magma and catch alight. The good news was that Eruption got their attention....the bad news was he wasn't happy with the newest nuisance.
"RRRaaawwwwWWRR!" His mouth opens unnaturally wide and he shoots a loogie of magma at Cody. As the archers continue to menace him, Eruption gives a great huff. He started to suck in air again, planning something devious as all of the archer's were getting very hot from their proximity to the rapidly heating Eruption. Sphinx and Trevor had regrouped in this time, and from their part in the area they could see the new group attempt an assault on the man of lava. At the question of backup, Missionary concurs rather unhappily.
"Yeah, something like that. Our boss sent us in as a scout unit. Liz should be radioing it all in but shedecided to see what she could see past that breech in the wall" she grunts before noticing the final robot. Sphinx could also see the flamethrower act done in the 3 on 1 battle with one of the last 'security' bots as Missionary put it. The trio were blocking a clean shot from their angle so with a frown, Missionary defaults to Sphinx. "You know what's going on, ya wanna make the call?" she asks, gripping a shotgun tightly.
Plan C:Players: Minera and Animalius Rajom
Minerva's fire blasts hit hard wood, it'd burn through eventually but after the first few layers start to turn to ash she doesn't see anything resembling a power converter or even a source at that part. Animalius' entrance ha smore luck, but he smashes through wall and finds himself dumped through a hole in the wall that led to panicking civilians attempting to run past. He was back in the lobby area and not only was the hallway full of people he shouldn't smash through but Eruption had a closer way out now...*First aid:Players: Travis/Red DragonRed Dragon's confidence might have hit an all-time low, but whatever birthright he had was acting out now. Her partner Liz is scouting past but we don't want to risk sending in anyone just yet." she admits when they all hear a wall go down in the direction of the Hero Orientation room. "Motherfucker" she moans, before she attempts to get a signal on someone inside. The large lupine was clearly annoyed at her tenacity, but he stops her right after her threat "Hold it right there. We want to save them as much as anybody else. You gave us answers....I'll go in with you" he says before looking to his friend working the cameras. She nods, saying she could hold down the fort for right now. She then thrusts several small discs , about palm sized, into Kairi's hands. "A GEAR tech special. Should short out any circuitry if you can tag em with it. Will that do?" she asks, not having a very good look on her face either. *Monorail station/food court:Players: Felicity Fortune, Kain, and Scarlet/FrenzyThe asian woman looks over to Felicity. After hearing things out, she nods with a small smile. She walks over and puts on a playful tone, "Thanks for taking care of my friend ok?" she says, being a little bit patronziing despite the fact that this girl coulnd't be older than 25. "I think we can share the basics...We need to evacuate everyone on this here train, because a bunch of bad guys decided to attack us all out in the middle of a meeting...pretty rude right?" she grumbles. She motions to the trainbefore smirking. "We're just checking things for traps in case these baddies are smart" she explains. After that she quickly turns to Frenzy,"Ok girl, you gonna hold onto her this whole time or can you spare a minute and help with the bomb threat" she murmurs, hoping Frenzy could make herself useful without much directing. "Sorry sir, this is taking longer than I thought" one of the beastmen operatives says to the clearly annoyed Kain. He could attempt to piece together what was going on, but he wasn't getting his briefcase back right now and nobody was getting on that train yet. ven as load sof people panickedly file in. He did have a good look on the 'rude' woman though, she seemed to be much nicer to a duo of women who just arrived and seemed to be helping. One had a similar patch to hers, and the other looked like she was ready to cosplay. Outskirts of Reach City

Even as Dark Lizard was panicking about the fall, he landed softly onto the forest grass below. Rose collapses next to him afterwards, even fake wings could take the energy out of someone especially when it was from three stories up. "Man...why the hell did you do that? *huff* *huff* you're reaaallly heavy...." she grunts, almost ready to pass out in the dense forest they were now in.

When he heard it out loud, it sounded ridiculous. And in truth, Orion didn't have a fully formed plan. But at this point Orion couldn't feel his legs, and with the sudden added weight he felt he had no choice but to press forward. Trying to blow up the roof may not be the best idea, but his hope was that in talking it out they could figure something out. "Maybe..." he manages to say, "If we can contain it... Focus only on where it's collapsing... A contained explosion might save us." Red Dragon's Cool Thing:When the woman healed, Travis was so surprised and relieved that he forgot about his self doubt. He tried to listen, but on top of the woman having to try and talk through the pain, his head was still spinning. He managed to catch one part in particular, "Albatross... I met her," Travis said, "What did she say?" As Travis's emotions relaxed, his power faded. |

Fortune: "Hey!" Fortune shouted at Ursa but then the robot let loose with he flamethrower. "Ah, Hell!" Fortune shouted as he dropped and rolled attempting to get out of the way of the deadly flames.
Star Patrol: (Sphinx and Trevor) "I just need one clean shot, see if you can get those three to get clear." He said. He shouted at the trio that was trying to avoid the flamethrower, "Down!" He shouted. hoping they'd hear him and comply, one shot and he could end it.
Kari: She eyed the discs, "I guess I can work with this." Kari said. She headed for the door hefting her wrench in one hand and the discs in the other not even bothering to see if the lupine was following her. "Kiai O Ka Lewa" Kari said the motto.

Ursa rajom: ursa cartwheeled to the side, away from the flames. He leaped forward and as he landed he swung his leg at the head of the robot hoping to connect. If he did he'd move in and try to sweep his legs from under him as he pushed him back.
Minerva rajom/ Ani rajom: Minerva sighed, well, that plan failed. "Stay here, make sure no villains get out, keep panicked civilians from getting in." She ordered before trying to find the energy room yet again.
Scarlet: "sure thing." She muttered, before putting the shark scent to use. A lot of blood from the brawls, but she focused on the scent of explosives and tried to find and follow it.
DL: "well, we got out, didn't we? Don't suppose you know where the city is." He said, before picking her up and circling the building hoping he'd find answers.

OOC: Sorry I'm late. What about the gunman Kevin? He was a big part of the plan.
"Where the hell is the gunman?" Cody says as the monster opens its mouth. Blue Fang reacts with almost magical like speed crouching down some and rising his arm over his head, with shield in hand. The shield, acting like part of his body expands, offering more protection. The lava loogie slams into Crystal Soul, and explodes the shield protecting the young hero. The shield returns to normal as Cody backs away, "Not good!"
"No shit!" Emma replies backing up as she wipes the sweat from her forehead.
"I don't know what to do!" Blue Fang screams. He is shaking.
"You fight!" Emma says, notching a arrow an shooting it at the monster's mouth. "You fight with everything you got and you never give up. Unless you're a coward." That's what Aretmis would say.
Drawing strength from his new ally, Cody takes a deep breath, "You're right, anyway my plan could still work." Blue Fang now launches his own assault, launching a crystal at the monster's chest. The crystal has with a thin pointed blade on it, with a thicker heavier back. This would focus all the weight on a single point, giving it more piercing power.

Krystal sees the crowd and quickly gets flustered. Not really knowing what she can do to help them, remembering she had a similar situation back at home that didn't turn out good either "Uh...Wait! Maria cursed, things were always harder when civilians were involved, she saw Krystal and Kendra head off in the direction of the panicking people while Hirro went off in the direction of the Orientation Room. She overheard Krystal mention the buddy system.
"Right," she said, her hands morphing into constantly shifting blobs of nano-lathe, her subconscious way to warming up her body. "Safety first, then teamwork." She jogged up to catch up to Hirro, PROMETEO's proverbial eyebrows raising as they caught sight of ice forming around him. "So," she said, "Looks like we gotta do a few things. Keep whatever fight is happening in there from spilling into the monorail and the medical rooms."
"Hopefully the threat is contained before it reaches us." PROMETEO added.
Maria donned her silver armored form. "If only we'd be so lucky."
