I wish alien covenant was consistent with Prometheus. Now that I know it isn't, I'll pass.

FINALLY. A AMAZING AND AWESOME DC FILM. Wonder Woman was great. Let her direct the next JLA or Superman film for crying out loud. I loved the look of Ares and how he close in appearance to Injustice/Comics.

Wonder Woman is my favorite pure superhero movie. Dark Knight is more of a crime/noir movie, GotG is a sci-fi epic, and Logan is a relationship drama. Wonder Woman was kept grounded as a superhero movie but brought in awesome themes that they actually stuck with. Wonder Woman loves fighting/combat but loves people as well, and she sees the actual horrors of war and somewhat grows throughout the movie. It was incredibly well done in every single way. The action scenes were fantastic.

Okay so I have not seen Justice League yet. Me and my friends are seeing it Wednesday. Apparently audience love Justice League and Critics hate it. If you are one of those who goes by rotten tomatoes to which I don't. There is a huge difference. Audience score is 86% while Rotten Tomatoes score is 40. I say this to ask who liked the movie on here or didn't? I know on here there is smart movie and comic fans.

I liked it much more than I thought I would, but I definitely went in with low expectations for it. It had its highs and lows, and imo, the highs outnumbered the lows by a fair few. Just my thoughts. Saw it Friday night.

If you say a bad thing about any of those movies, you get instabanned! I'm seeing it on Tuesday and I expect a steaming pile of hot shit. Partly because low expectation leads to surprising enjoyment and because Zack Snyder sucks at his job and so does David Goyer. If the director and writer of a movie suck, the movie probably sucks. Also, being a comic book fan doesn't mean shit about movies. It means you might like the easter eggs and cameos a bit more, but that's about it. And if the audiences like it, it would be making more money. But it's not. It currently has the worst opening weekend of any DCEU movie.

Great points. Agreed. I had a feeling it would not do to well domestically due to the bad reception Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad received. Thank god overseas the film did 185 million. I can't wait to see it myself on Wednesday. David Goyer, Zack Snyder, and that Chris writer need to be gone. Hopefully Geoff Johns can fix the DCEU and be the Kevin Feige DC so badly needs.

I saw Justice League. It was fun and entertaining. Holy Crap you can tell though Joss Whedon saved that damn movie. The film flowed perfectly. The story was simple and brief. I am interested to see Snyder's version. You can tell from the trailers no after watching the movie Zack's film originally would have been on big mess and too long for no reason adding in scenes regarding the individual heroes that were not needed. The only thing I would have added is more Superman scenes since I love Supes. That and a little more tease to Darkseid. Give the viewers a little more insight. I am guessing when Darkseid is the villain then they will introduce Green Lantern as they will need his power to help bring down Darkseid. If they do the Injustice League I am interested to see the members.

Holy Crap you can tell though Joss Whedon saved that damn movie. Heh. I hated all the Joss Whedon "funny witty" dialogue scenes, I really just wish they'd let Snyder make the films he chooses, because I've really enjoyed the dark, somber tone of all the DC movies minus Wonder Woman, which was basically a Marvel movie. Also that gif in your signature is so slow to load.

Snyder is one of the worst directors to ever breathe blockbuster movie air. If you like the DCEU except Wonder Woman, you need to re-examine everything you've ever done in life and realize that some opinions can actually be wrong.

LOL. Well Justice League only made its money back and is one of the lowest grossing DC films ever. If that does not make Warner scrap this DCEU and take a break from superhero films. Nothing will. Justice League was just stupid and simple superhero fun which I enjoyed. As a film though it was bad. How Zack keeps getting jobs from Warner is blow minding. Suicide Squad was a big fucking letdown and disappointment. BvS 's first half of the film was bad. The second half I enjoyed only because of Superman vs Batman and Trinity vs Doomsday. Even the second half of BvS has huge plot holes. Why the fuck Warner Brothers has not thrown money at Matthew Vaughn, JJ Abrams, or other Directors I have no clue.
Honestly I can't wait to see what Warner does. They have to know besides Wonder Woman 2. Aquaman is in deep shit of not performing well at all due to so much bad reception from critics and movie goers on every film besides Wonder Woman.

I think it's pretty easy to argue that Vaughn would be a terrible choice, but also a great choice. I like his movies but they aren't much more than well-shot action flicks. While that's fine for Superhero movies, I think a big reason why Marvel keeps pulling huge numbers is because their movies, FOR THE MOST PART, stopped being "Superhero has powers, beats up bad guy".
I liked Justice League in the sense that I didn't want to walk out on it and didn't hate 2 hours of my life. It's not a good movie, but I'm totally fine spending the 5 bucks I did to go see it. I don't know if Aquaman will have any association with Snyder but hopefully not. I know for sure he isn't directing it. At this point, Snyder is a cancer to DCEU to all but the most devout fanboys who jerk off to hearing his name.

If you like the DCEU except Wonder Woman, you need to re-examine everything you've ever done in life and realize that some opinions can actually be wrong. Did I say I didn't like it? I said that the other DC movies have a very distinct tone, whereas Wonder Woman is much closer to a Marvel movie. On that note, I do like Wonder Woman least of all the DC movies, because it brings up a pretty good theme (war, violence, greed being human concepts that don't require the divine beings to birth into the world)... but then sort of drops it by shifting the focus to Ares at the end. Presumably they'll actually go back and examine that topic in Wonder Woman 2, but it is a theme that went nowhere in the first movie. Also:
