Saw it. It's really good, but not at all Star Wars in the way it feels, and I think they knew that. There are very small things throughout the movie that, while small, scream "This isn't a mainstream Star Wars movie". But the small, faithful, nods to the originals were pretty cool. Also, while the CGI is noticeably CGI, it's really, really good CGI.

Rogue One is fucking great. Wow I loved Force Awakens and have it on DVD. But I thought Rogue One was even better. Disney is on fire.

Collateral beauty is absolutely brilliant.
The acting is awesome and there were no times during the movie where I felt like it was drawing things out.
All in all, I highly recommend it.

Great trailer and I like Luke's line at the end. Also I saw Logan. Awesome film and definitely in the top 10 best superhero films of all time.

No, while I can easily see Luke saying that line, I don't think it's his voice. People are saying it's Benicio Del Toro's character. But I'd put some money on Luke training Rey to be a Gray Jedi, the balance in the Force, as opposed to keeping her in the ways of the Jedi, that we have seen fail over 7 movies now.

Saw Alien Covenant on Saturday and I'm pretty disappointed in it. It's a good film on its own, but I dislike the fact that it killed the Prometheus franchise.

You can thank the fans who bitched about Prometheus which I liked. Alien Covenant was great and we still had some people complain. Annoying ass movie goers these days complain too much.
