Wonder Woman looked okay, JL looked dumb as shit, Kong looked like a generic action, monster movie, and I didn't watch the LEGO trailer because I'll see it anyway. Whoever said that Wonder Woman might be better than the first Captain America, you better check yourself before I ban you for spouting heretical bullshit. I'm not saying that I thought the First Avenger was bad, because it wasn't, but it had potential to be better and make more of an impression. There isn't much I remember about the last act, for example. I honestly think Wonder Woman has great potential. Like everyone though, I'm privately trying to stay reserved about my expectations. Please don't do a Twitter on me, surfer. Looking back on that post about Skull Island, I looked a little... Overexcited.  But that's only 'cause I'm a massive fan of the King Kong films, for some odd reason. |

I have met a lot of non-comic book fans who hated the first Captain America film for some reason. Cap was good but there are other Marvel, Sony, and Fox films I still put a ahead of it. Wonder Woman looks great but yea lets wait and see if it can rival the first Captain America film. Marvel is not that perfect with all there films now.

Me and my friends saw Suicide Squad Friday. I give it a 7 out of 10. Critics have there head up there asses with the crazy savage reviews. However the critics that actually do know how to review a film are right giving it a B or C rating. A fun and entertaining film but it had its problems. The villain sucked and the story needed a lot more work for sure. DC still is at 50% while Marvel is at 100%. Warner again get your shit together. Its clear executives screwed around with the film again and shot themselves in the foot. Another then that the characters were fucking great and ripped right out the comics. The origins were good and everyone did a great job acting wise. That and the film with its problems still being fun to watch saved it. The audience loved it.
I am may be done with superheroes films for the year. Too many for me. They need to cut down on the number of big blockbusters.

Suicide Squad was not a good movie. Objectively, it was not good. It was entertaining for sure, though. But there were some scenes that I could have written better. The movie should have been called "Deathstroke Ft. Harley Quinn". Will Smith, Margot Robbie when she wasn't being funny, and Viola Davis rocked those parts. The rest of the SS was so useless that they could have been left out. El Diablo did a thing once or twice but Killer Croc's entire origins story was "His name is Waylon Jones and he evolved backwards". That was it. I didn't even hear the name of the one guy. The main bad guy, because there were essentially three antagonists, was a terrible choice and really dumb. The whole plot was dumb and misguided. But it was fun enough to warrant me paying 7.25 to see it. Otherwise, f that. It was entertaining but it was not good.

For the first time in history, I think I actually agree with Silversurfer. That plot was about as terrible as the actual comic itself. Sequel should just be Deadshot and Harley Quinn (Minus Leto's Joker because that was also terrible)

I don't think Leto's Joker was terrible, he just wasn't my favorite version and he was used terribly. It's like "Oh good, Joker is back in the movie because who the fuck knows why and why the fuck not, but also, thank God that Joker is back so we get a break from this dumbass main plot".

Yup I actually have to say i agree with Surfer as well. Me and my friends talked about the film's problems. Everyone seems to have the same problems with it. It was fun and entertaining. But the damn story was bad and out of all the DC villains they choose the wrong one for sure. Joker was fun but provided nothing to the film's story. I will say like before they nailed the characters which is what i loved the most about it. But damn Warner Brothers needs new script writers. No wonder Ben Affleck wants no WB involvement in the script writing and he wants plenty of time to write it. If these problems continue with Wonder Woman and JLA. DC may want to find another studio to do there films.

Saw suicide squad yesterday and it was alright.
It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't brilliant either.
The characters portrayed was generally good, and I was entertained throughout the movie.
But the plot was mediocre at best, and the overall effect was a resounding Meh.
Best description of the experience I can give is.
"It was okay" ~shrugs~

The Power Rangers trailer looks alright. Looks too much like another Michael Bay movie to me. Generic and not all that inspiring, and that's coming from me lol. Maybe the next trailer will actually show the rangers in action. With suits. |

I honestly don't get it. The Power Rangers as a family and fun brand makes millions of dollars. Its a proven success which is why it still goes on today. Why would you go in the opposite direction and risk hurting yourselves? This film is either go be a huge success or fail with reviews on the level of Batman vs Superman. Nothing needed to be changed regarding the PR brand.
