Umbrella's Hidden Base -

Albert Wesker quietly observed as he viewed the battles displayed on the monitors. One showed a familiar Leon Kennedy being ambushed by Hydra units, another showed Umbrella grunts fighting against Hydra's troops, and another was of Nick Fury taking his team toward their last salvation, the 'secret' location of Cortana.

"Pitiful," Wesker scoffed.

He had known for awhile now where Cortana had been moved too, it just wasn't a big deal. Wesker could have sent a team to take her by force as soon as he heard the news, but where would the fun in that be? No... Wesker wanted Cortana to be Fury's last hope. To be Shield's last hope. That way when Wesker's took Cortana, it would break them. That, was the only way to truly savor his victory.

Unfortunately, all of Wesker's associates didn't quite agree with him.

"I tire of these games, Albert.", Goro's voice echoing behind Wesker, breaking his concentration. "Fury and his men will soon arrive at their destination. Are you simply going to let them get what they are after!?" Goro said with impatience.

Wesker sighed then turned to face his comrade "No Goro. I'm not going to 'simply' do anything. I've already made plans in measure for this as you already know. If you grow so impatience then by all means commence our assault. Our guests should be comfortable enough now to take care of the task. Send them."

Goro remained silent for a moment, almost taken aback by Wesker's sudden command for action after hours of silence. Goro finally mustered a response. "Why take risk with these Earthlings? Goro can easily go and-"

"No. I won't explain myself to you again. Now send the Rangers and make certain that the mind control has fully taken over before giving them their weapons." Wesker interrupted.

Goro remained silent as he made his way to the holding cells containing the five captured Power Rangers. Once released, they were given back their morphers and give instructions on their new mission.

Ranger's mission: Infiltrate the secret Shield bunker and retrieve Cortana before Fury and his team arrive.

Team consists of :
Black Dino Ranger Tommy Oliver
Red Mighty Morphin Ranger Jason Scott
Yellow Ninja Ranger Aisha Campbell
Blue Wind Ninja Ranger Tori Hanson
Silver Space Ranger Zhane

They have access to all weapons with the exception of Zords.

The Shield base is defended by two turrets, 7 UNSC troopers, 7 Shield operatives, Mockingbird Bobbi Morse and James Gordon with his Batman Armor Suit.

Both Teams must kill all of the opposition to win.

I'm not quite decided yet, but those are definitely some tough as nails rangers.

Also, I'm thinking the Rangers might almost win this handily, especially since most of them are in their most powerful forms.

I knew you'd say it was short lol

It was like 5 in the morning and I needed to advance the story. Figured this was just enough to scrap by.

As for the fight, I'm very much up in arms. The Ranger team here is tough but the numbers aren't on their side. Normally that wouldn't be the problem, but the Cortana Defense Force has well trained members.

Interested on what others have to say.

The numbers here will mean nothing to the Rangers. The Black Dino Ranger with his special abilities with the two Ninja Rangers' fast special type of attacks clean house. Then you have the Silver Space Ranger Zhane? Yeah easy win.

No particular reason really. They don't get used often (especially Tommy's Dino Ranger form) and I like each of them.

Wanted a more diverse team and god knows I love me some crossover teams!

And yes, I preferred Aisha as the Yellow Ranger. Not sure why.
