Nightmare at the museum
Hello! This will be a quick fast paced survival/horror/spoof RP with (hopefully) comedic elements, thissetting is meant to seem like a mishmash of B horror movie, think scyfy channel original movie, and part teen high-school movie, in corniness and stereotypes. I will be ripping off other movies shamelessly because this is a tribute.
Welcome to the museum of Science and History. It’s one of the largest museums in the state, various halls showcase eras of history including American and world history, with an extensive fossil collection and handson exhibits on the various sciences. The museum also has a planetarium and Imax theatre.
The month of October is going to be an exciting time for the museum they are receiving a travelling exhibit of Egyptian artifacts, including a few actual mummies! Cool huh? Some legends say that one of the mummies was a sorcerer in the Pharaohs court and he vowed to return from the dead, on ablood moon on the anniversary of his death. Silly stuff right?
Here’s where you come in. Seems one of the local schools has a dare going around to spend the night in the museum with the dead mummies, no idea who’s idea that was but it’d definitely be worth some cool points. If the guards don’t throw you out.
Speaking of the guards there’s actually only two who work in the museum due to budget cuts, the museum relies more on its state of the art security system and two guards to phone the cops seems more than sufficient.
So as you have probably figured out already things are going to get weird fast, and you’ll find yourself trapped in the museum with an undead sorcerer. There is one position open for the guard whether he’s a young guy trying to pay for college or an older guy is up to you, I’ll be the other guard to serve as exposition more than anything, as for the rest of you will be these “highly intelligent” Highschoolers carrying out the dare.

Rules: 1. Anyone can die. Don’t whine if it’s you. You’ll be given chances to miminze this happening to you.
2. You’re just average gals and guys not crazy badasses.
3. No you may not bring weapons, you’re already sneaking in don’t make things worse getting caught with weapons. Don’ttry and find a loophole by saying it’s sporting equipment, likea bat or an bokken. The only person with weapons is the guard and he’s just got a taser, telescopic baton and a maglight.
4. There is no rule number 4!
5. Have fun, you’re in a b movie!

Name: Big Bolt Vanderhuge Gender: Male Age: 18 Appearance:  Hobbies: Boxing Track Football Literally all he does is train for these three extracurriculars. He can run fast, hit hard, and catch a vaguely egg-shaped yet pointed oblong ball. Bio: Bolt insists that since he can grow a mustache, he must maintain one (regardless of the fact that hair will grow nowhere else on his face, and he looks like Carl Weathers before his mustache was glorious). He's not the sharpest shuriken in the dojo because all his time is spent solely on sports, but he can maintain a C-average in all of his classes except mathematics (where he fails miserably most semesters, yet somehow convinces his coaches to let him stay on their teams). He's a bit of a lady's man (regardless of his limited vocabulary and direct nature) but doesn't man-whore himself. His only saving grace is a mildly tactful approach in regard to strategy: years of boxing and football have allowed him to observe and absorb tactics to be used in both individual combat and group play. Also "Big" doesn't just refer to his height IF YOU GET WHAT I'M SAYING (really I'm just hoping for dick jokes in the actual RP but if that's much then I can take this out)  Clique: He's the jockiest of jocks that ever jocked. |

OOC @jesus, wouldnt mind - Name: Beth Parke Gender: Female Age: 17 Appearance:  Hobbies: *Computer Coding- Mods, programs, and hacking oh my. She spends most of her life behind a computer screen so she better knows her way around one. Her intellect makes grasping concepts a breeze. *Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do-When you play as many action games as she does, you kind of wanna emulate it. And if you're gonna emulate, why not emulate the best? Being easily able to afford the best teachers. she's practiced for two years straight and honed her craft well, but no matter what she learned in her private classes(primarily training made up of Wing Chun, Western Boxing, Epee Fencing, Kickboxing, Tai chi, and Jujitsu), her parents are just glad to have her out of the house and staying in shape for any amount of time. Though she's not lazy, she's just knows how she wants to split her time. *Puzzle Solving/Deductive reason- Faster reflexes, being able to tell who the bad guy is in the 1st act, and knowing how to break the game she's playing. These are all thing's shes good at- very good at. Goes beyond being savvy or having mad sudoku skills, she just can run things through her head and get solutions easier than most people can complete a math test. Any challenge is a good challenge to her, cus it means she can prove she's better. Bio: Beth is kind of a bitch. She doesn't care if you hold that against her. Typical loner, she knows what she wants, and she hardly cares if you deviate from that and she doesn't feel like adapting her daily plan. She's far from heartless, but on her to-do list, there is rarely "go out and make friends, bending over to whatever they wanna do". She spends most of her time behind a computer screen either as an actual gamer girl, blogger, and vlogger. Her family is quite wealthy, and she does love them but doesn't talk much(to the parent's dismay). She's clearly brilliant because she actually aces school, but she doesn't much care what comes next, she'll figure it out and you better not try and throw her a curveball. Psychology: Growing up with a loner older sister and parents who couldn't care less, she became very good at figuring people out. She decided to study more into it and has become amazing at reading people, aside from being knowledgeable on the subject.
Xing Yi Quan: She started taking martial arts with her sister as a child and took a long time in finding her own style. Preferring non external styles, she eventually gravitated towards Xing Yi Quan, as it kept many of the internal philosophies she adored but her sister didn't male fun of it as much as other internal styles.
Comic Books: She'd prefer everyone think she's more into philosophical stuff, but she's a total nerd. Even her sister doesn't know about her secret comic book stash.
Clique: Stoners probably, she's chill like they are

Alright only three it seems. Well guys there's a few options for us.
1. We axe this thing right now.
2. We make do with three, I'll add some NPCS though this might cheapen the threats with disposable characters.
3. I'll authorize double characters, you can make a second additional character, this will increase your chance of survival in the long run.

I'm all for double characters. That'd bring us to six, which is a pretty healthy number for a group. Hell, The Gallows was enjoyable with only four.
