Kasumi, Ace, Isabella, Logan, Dean, and Spider-Man, post here
Moments after they took to the skies, a blue energy surrounded Sparda and his passengers appeared in the skies above, seemingly nothing special Sparda landed on the ridge above the canyon. <The dragon ball is somewhere down there,> Sparda said, <I'd take you closer, but I'm afraid there's not enough room for me.>

Ace held onto what Crocodile had said to him before his team departed on their mission. He had mentioned Luffy and him working together and to save him? Had Luffy knocked him permanently senseless? There was no way his little brother would have agreed to work together with slime like Crocodile. Especially not after he tried to take over the country of that Vivi girl Luffy had brought along with his crew. It was clear that the former warlord was holding out on Ace and the next time they met, he'd get the answers he was looking for. Or else they'd see which logia fruit was superior. But for now he had a mission to tend to and that's what was most important. He tried to have a somewhat serious air around him but this was too freaking cool. Not only was he sitting on the back of an actual dragon, he was being flown around on it as well! This had to be one of the coolest experiences ever! As Sparda touched down on the ridge and apologized for not being able to get any closer, Ace waved it off. "Nah, that's alright. You've done more than enough for us just by getting us here in the first place. For which I am most appreciative of , Sparda. Just go ahead and leave the rest to us. Speaking of which, I'll see you guys down at the bottom." Ace exclaimed with a grin before he tossed his hat up into the air and leaped off the ridge. As he descended further towards the ground, the pirate's lower torso would have turned into a stream of fire as he flew down to the bottom until he was right next to what appeared to be a gigantic hole in the ground and with some machinery nearby. Reverting his lower torso back to a pair of legs, Ace touched down upon the ground and held a hand out expectantly to grab his hat as it glided towards the ground. Grabbing the rim of it, he chuckled aloud. Was probably a lot more flashy than was really necessary. But beat climbing down the ridge or just walking down it. Kneeling near the hole however, Ace peered over. "Huh. Looks like a pretty deep hole. You guys think maybe the ball fell down there?"

Dean climbed from the back of Sparda, taking a step toward the edge of the canyon to take a look at what lay at the bottom. It looked like a facility of some kind with a hole leading who knows where. Pipes ran down it, coming from the cliff face and descending into the dark. " Don't blame ya," Dean remarked to Sparda. Frankly, the dragon was so damn big he was surprised the rock platform up here was even supporting him. Dean made his way down the ledge to the building at the bottom and past it to the hole. " That's a hell of a pit." He grinned to himself a moment before glancing around at his group members. He muttered something about a tough crowd before looking to Ace. " That might be the case, Ace. If it is down there, we're gonna need a light, and as far as I know, you're the only one here with that particular kind of juice... but, uh, if anyone else has a light, go ahead and speak up. If anyone sees anything that I don't," he looked around the canyon for a moment, " that is not in the ominous pit, I would also mention that."

Meanwhile the trip on Scales's back, Logan had lighted up another cigar, naturally. It didn't even last that long, so what was the reasoning behind lighting the cigar then? Who gives a shit, he had a cigar going now. He'd enjoy what he could. Upon their arrival, he shimmied down before leaping off the dragon, landing with practice ease as he quirked an eye back for the gargantuan reptile. " Yea, it's not a problem. Maybe ya better vamoose before you cause an avalanche with yer weight." A fat joke, classy. Still... that hole in the ground was damn big, especially from up here. He wondered what it'd have been like up close. The telltale noise of flames whooshing and Wolverine's senses snapped to the source: Ace. He was taking the initiative, leaping in first without a thought. Well it's not like there were any enemies around. Yet. But still, if they had something precious a commodity as the dragon ball, odds were there were at least warning systems. Wolverine wouldn't know until they got into it anyway. Maybe Kasumi could share any details if necessary. " Right, gotta get down there." Why go down the ledge the long and boring way? Sure it was safer but screw that. A SNIKT followed and moments later a most horrendous mixture of scraping and screeching could be heard as adamantium claws cleft through stone as Logan made his way down relatively quickly. With a soft thump, Logan took a cursory glance about his positioning before he set to brushing himself off, dirt and debris having accumulated during his trip down. SNIKT The claws were sheathed now and as Logan approached the hole... " Maybe we don't wanna just leap right ta it yet. I'm a fan of doing that but there's you to consider." He looked to Dean first and foremost before to the others. Ungh, he was already technically babysitting? No, not just yet, wait it out Logan. See what other ideas they've got. " Perhaps our friendly neighbor thief Kasumi can scout ahead. I can follow along, the dark ain't a problem fer my senses. Unless we wanna gatecrash the party altogether. Either way works. I'm open to suggestions I guess." Maybe he could assign Spidey to cover Dean, Spider-Man was very good at protecting normies like that. Not that Dean needed it exactly but considering their adversaries, eh...

"Maybe I can!" She replied, finally hopping off Logan. "You make a fine co-leader and an even better lifejacket. Except for the noise though. Little too much nails on a chalkboard but hey, 2 foot metal claws sticking out of your knuckles is a fair tradeoff." She stepped up to the hole carefully herself, kneeling down and getting a scanning look in. "Yep, that is fairly deep. Let's see how far the rabbit hole goes, hmm?" She tapped her omni-tool, projecting out a holographic light, bright in intensity. "Miracles of technology boys and girls. A light in the palm of my hand." She outstretched it over the hole and spun her hand over, letting the light descend. It upped it's intensity the farther it fell into the darkness and she just counted down the seconds until it reached the bottom.

Once they adjusted to the sights and smells of the new world, Logan's senses would pick up a major clue. A mix of a galaxy's worth of smells was coming from the hole in the ground. Other various odors rose out from the hole, no different than you would find in any major city.
Another indication of what they were to find came from the light itself. As it passed down the hole it first revealed a ladder, but seemed to take a turn as if descended, making it impossible to see what else the hole had.
The floor was about 400 feet under the surface, but relying on visual or auditory clues alone wouldn't tell them that.

Logan grunted briefly, scowling momentarily. " Knew something was on me the moment I started climbin' down." If ya could even call that climbing. " Yer rather heavy for a little girl." This coming from the hairy midget as it were. He smirked though, obviously meaning nothing by it as he looked over to the others before back to Kasumi, brow raising as she demonstrated the vast utility of her omni-tool. " Forge'd love ta meetcha." Was all he said, with a momentary glance over the tool situated upon Kasumi's wrist. In fact, even Beast would be interested. Huh, maybe he could've brought along one or two of the X-Men as well now that he thought about it. Such was what happened when you shouldered the entirety of the burden yourself. "The scents I'm getting, they're out of this world. Quite literally, almost as if something ain't of this world, don't belong here. Everything else's what ya expect to smell in a city." He grimaced as he took note of the light's abrupt disappearance. " I guess we ain't gonna tell how deep the rabbit hole goes until we take the plunge ourselves." He grunted briefly, walking over to the side where he saw the ladder. " I'll go first. If something happens... well, odds are I'll survive." Down the rabbit hole the Wolverine went.

Dean wasn't sure for a moment about the Omni-Tool. If anything he found it intensely cool. " Gotta get me one of those. Sure Charlie'd have a good time with it," Dean said quietly, eyeing it all the way. The closest Dean was like to get was duct taping his phone to the wrist-mounted crossbow he'd found in the bunker (but hadn't brought along-- who was going to seriously use a crossbow?). " And... what exactly does 'not of this world' smell like?" he said with a smirk to Logan. " Cities smell like trash and exhaust half the time and like vendors and rain the other half. I'm only gonna like one of those halves," he finished his statement and glanced down into the darkness. " At least there's a ladder for normies like me. How considerate," he muttered while looking at the ladder. " There ain't much up here, that's for damn sure. Looks to me like the party's at the bottom of the hole," he said in concurrence with Logan. He looked to the other members of the group a moment before shrugging. " Only way forward is down." If there were no objections, he'd follow after Logan. Dean might've been comparatively fragile in contrast to the rest of the group, but damned if he was going to act like a bitch because of it. Even regular humans could take their share of punishment before going and he was a sterling example of endurance.

"Hehe. It might have been the extra weight from the ramen. Forgive me, I'm out of practice from that sort of thing.""Not sure who Forge is but I'm guessing he likes inventions like this. Oh yeah, he'd love my galaxy then. Everyone has one of these things. Very handy for just about...well a lot of things. More than I'd have time to explain. Hence the name." She smirked, striding to the spot where she had spotted the ladder herself and looked down as Wolverine and Dean both took the ladder down, vanishing into the darkness. "The simplest method. Straightforward, but effective. Probably. Unless there's traps on the ladder." She thought about it before shaking her head. "Yep, not taking the ladder." Rather, taking a page out of Logan's earlier maneuver as her holographic omni-tool extended into it's diamond hard blade form. Flipping herself over with a quick jump, she embedded the blade into the side of the hole, her feet bracing themselves on it as well as she just slid on down.

Ace watched Kasumi's use of the Omni-Tool with a rather amused look on his face. Sure as hell didn't have anything like that back home. The most advanced thing he knew of were the sea stone coatings the Navy put on their ships to prevent attacks from Sea Kings. This? This was beyond what Ace had experience dealing with. But they weren't gonna find the balls by standing around. Watching as the others took the ladder and Kasumi took an 'alternate' way of getting down, Ace grinned. "I think our resident thief has the right idea there. I'll keep pace with you guys and let you know beforehand if there's any thing that goes bump on the way down here. Maybe even give it a bump back."
The pirate mused aloud before taking one big step into the hole and as he plummeted downwards, his lower torso turned into fire once more. Flying back up so he'd smirk at the others before resuming his ascension downwards. The sound of his flames was indeed a lot noisier than climbing a ladder but it was also way quicker. The fact that it looked cool was just an additional side perk.

Eventually, they reached the end of the tunnel, but not of the ladder, giving them a bird's eye view of the city. The streets were filled with all manor of creature. A pal woman, with multiple eyes and no arms browsed a food stand. Pink humanoid shark creatures walked together in family groups. A red saber-toothed feline sniffed around the city, minding it's own buisness. A small blue reptilian child, with wheels for feet, walked out of a building before speeding through the streets. Creatures with various numbers of arms, legs, and heads filled the city streets. But, Kisame would quickly notice that she couldn't spot the hunter anywhere. Soon enough, the group reached the ground

" Well, when I say outta this world, I kinda mean literally. Know what space smells like?" ... " Didn't think so. S'ok. Happens, not everyone gets ta go ta outer-space. Frankly, it smells like ass." A chuckle followed. " Okay, that may be a bit misleading. It smells more like burnt steak, ya know that smell? Metal too, like the taste you get from blood in yer mouth. A mix thereabouts of the two." Logan then indicated his nose. " Tells ya more than ya ever wanna know, trust me on that. That help ya some, pretty boy?" That had been Logan's response to Dean, and with a grunt, he'd started for climbing down the ladder-- The little ninja-thief ripped him off. : | " Cheeky little girl, huh?" Then flame boy and his damn need to show off. " Well, no one's attacked yet so maybe s'all good." And as it turned out, Logan was perhaps right on the money. It seemed like nothing would've happened to the party making they way inside what appeared to be a city underground. A city that comprised of all sorts of flavors; different species and technologies came together and intermingled. It was a melting pot on a galactic scale. Granted, none of the aliens here were familiar to him but that in of itself had been a moot point. He wasn't a stranger to these sorts of settings. In fact, back home, there's a casino in outer space where all sorts of people just got together an gambled. The last time he'd been there, he swore he and Quentin probably had been the only human out of all the occupants there. That was a good time, perhaps a bad example for Quentin, but a necessity of the Jean Grey School was gonna keep on a floating. " Nice place they've got here. Still, I'd keep on yer toes." He leveraged a glance Dean's way. " Ya wanna stick by me? Ya could take care of yerself but some of these aliens look plenty dangerous, even if they're docile." As if on cue, a child in black and blue sped right past. Imagine what an adult looked like? " Cover my back and I cover yers. Sound good?" " Ey, Kasumi. We gotta find this hunter, right? Clue us in on what he looks like?"

"It's like a hole in the wall, except it's literally a hole...and in the ground...and is a city." She remarked appreciatively, eyeing more than her fair share of stuff. None of it hers, naturally. Not yet, anyways. "Yep." She agreed with Logan. "It's almost like home." At his question, she nodded. "Didn't see him as I came down but he's hard to miss. Green skin, sunken red eyes, gills, black and grey undersuit covered by skeletal armor. Big guy. Can't miss him." She nevertheless tapped her omni-tool, bringing up the recording of their meeting she had made, zooming in on him helpfully, for those who disliked descriptions.
"Any questions?"

Dean blinked in surprise at their findings at the bottom of the pit. An underground city? He'd seen stranger, but this was downright unexpected. The inhabitants, though... they were like Hindu gods that had a serious meth addiction. He hadn't seen such a congregation of different-flavored monsters at any point before now. He said in response to Logan. " Don't quite have anything like these guys back at home." He perused the local fauna with his eyes for a moment. " Good thing, too." He listened to Kasumi's description and gleaning little information from it, instead looked at the portrait provided. " If this place is a city, it might have some sort of CCTV setup, and I might be able to hack it, find him faster if he's here. Assuming that much, anyway." He looked again to Logan. " Off to find cameras or just hunt this guy down-- your choice." Regardless of Logan's answer, though, he'd keep a sharp lookout for surveillance equipment of any kind, anywhere. Might make the job go a lot faster, so why not?

This place actually kind of reminded Ace of home to be honest. As much of a home as traveling on the open seas could be with all sorts of humans, giants, fish-men and who knew what else? There was always something out to discover, new people to meet and he supposed the one thing he was grateful for his search for Blackbeard allowed him to stop at these places all the more frequently. As for the description/image that Kasumi gave?
"..Kinda reminds me of a Fish-Man from back home. Only a lot ugiler and probably a lot meaner to boot. In any case, I'll be more than willing to join the hunting for the guy while Dean here handles the surveillance. Or one of us can tag along with Dean to make sure none of these guys gets a bit pushy."
