The Hunter was indeed somewhere in the city, as was his contact. From their current position, they couldn't see or hear either of them. But while the heroes plotted, the Hunter and his ally plotted as well. "I saw them come in," the contact said through their com-link, "But I'm not sure where they are by now."
"Did they see you?" the Hunter asked.
"No idea. But I doubt they'd know me."
There was a silence before the Hunter spoke, "I'll flush them out."
The heroes heard a hi-pitched whistling coming through the PA system. Soon after, screams could be heard as well as the sounds of buildings crashing somewhere in the city. The group had to decide what to do, quickly.

" Heh." He liked the kid's attitude. Seemed like he had a good head on his shoulder; Logan wouldn't feel too worried in having his back watched. Though most of the time, he did just fine on his own but nonetheless, it was nice to involve the team. Team building exercise and all that. Maybe he could extend an invitation to the Savage Lands for a thorough lesson in team building and survival. : | " If their tech's like Earth's anyway. But never mind that, something's going on--" The noise he caught wind of amid the din that comprised the intermingling of the various personages and use of technology gave Logan a hint. Something was gonna happened. Lo and behold: it did and the fact was accentuated by the sharp whistling, eliciting a pained expression from the Wolverine. Having fancy senses like him was great, a powerful and useful boon conferred as per his healing factor. They weren't without their drawbacks though, he tasted things a lot more than wanted to, heard far more than he cared to and sometimes loud noises were a downright bastard, so on and forth. " Yea', not suspicious at all that this happens soon as we arrived." A momentary pause followed. " Don't go rushin' in just now, don't play into the superhero game. We're exposin' ourselves if we do that, gotta play this smart." Naturally he looked around to see if Kasumi was still among them, likely that she wasn't. She could easily sneak in and figure out what the hullabaloo was all about. " Leave it to our thief. Dean, we can try and see if we can't find these systems yer talkin' about. As for the rest, namely ya flamehead: keep a low profile. Even if it kills ya, cuz I know yer not the sort to hide yerself. If ya do get ferreted out?" He took a deep breath. " Thanks fer bein' the distraction then." A smirk followed before his usual mask of seriousness repleted his features and a nod toward Dean followed. A solid plan was formed and they'd better get to it. Unless of course the others had better ideas.

Ace had no problem with trying to keep any sort of shenanigans to a minimum if he could help it. To be truthful, most of the time something went wrong when Ace went somewhere, it was usually due to him running out on a tab. Or when it involved the Navy but most of the time Ace could usually elude them. The sounds of collapsing buildings and screaming only earned an annoyed look from the pirate. This guy knew that he and the others were on the search for him but he had to try and lure them towards him. But while Ace may have admitted he was pretty headstrong, hurting innocent people was something that he couldn't tolerate. Not when marines did it, and not when pirates did it. Whatever the heck this guy was, be it some kind of freaky fishman if he hurt someone, he was gonna have to pay for it. Keeping in mind Logan's words however, Ace pressed his pointer finger under the brim of his hat and pushed it up slightly. Turning towards one of the group's leaders with a pleased smile on his face, he nodded. " I can't promise I'll be able to keep things on the down-low if I see someone who looks like they need a course on manners. But I'll do my best." With that Ace made his way off while Kasumi did her thing and Dean and Logan did their own. All that mattered now was finding this guy and putting a stop to him. Though he was aware not to get too full of himself. For if these Cult guys could get someone as strong as Lucci on their payroll, there was no telling how strong this guy might have been.

Dean was no stranger to carnage, this much was true. It seemed the true destruction, wherever it was in the city, had yet to come to them, but the PA system was going crazy. The screams in his ears reminded him of times of more immediate danger: Lucifer walked free and the whole world seemed to stop and listen, just as the city now reacted to the crashing of its buildings and the shrieks of its people. " No hero stuff? Got it." Truth be told, he had no problem keeping a low profile amid... whatever these were that populated the streets. It was a wonder that they weren't being gawked at, honestly. " First place we gotta look for cams are at intersections. Traffic cams are easy pickings." The fact that a PA system was there to blare clued Dean into the fact that if the entire city had a PA system, it would probably have a camera system as well. He might even be able to do it remotely.

As Wolverine and Dean walked to find their cameras, they passed by various alien species. One alien woman made eyes at Dean At the intersection an alien argued with another alien creature. On a post above the two was a sort of traffic camera. They could get involved or leave them alone, but if nothing else, this told them that there was a system to hack. Ace just wondered away from the group, and found himself near the food area. There he saw one alien selling tentacles on a stick. One, apparent couple looked through the items that a vendor was selling. Another, robotic alien, was busy explaining to a salesmen why he wouldn't be buying any food. One alien woman sat, having a drink. An odd looking alien, who seemed to be complaining to himself, bumped his shoulder by mistake. The TV headed alien ignored Ace and just went back to sweeping the streets.
For anyone who followed the sound to the center of the city, they'd see a massive alien beast smashing it's way through the city while

"...That's not a nice looking guy." She commented mildly, long since gone from the others to go check it out. She had gone totally incognito, hiding under a convenient tool. It allowed her to blend in with the scattered debris and general city things as she made her way through. And it came with eyeholes to boot. She frowned, rising slightly back up and following in the beast's wake silently to see if she could find it's master. If not, well she'd have to put down the wild thing eventually.

He'd been with quite a few himself, and they all, by far, looked a hell of a lot more attractive than this. " Well, it's up to ya kid. I don't think hacking it out in the open's a good idea." He took another glance around. "Especially if they're toting advanced tech of their own. Better out of prying eyes, yea?" Then a monstrous roar-- " ... Seems like we'd better hurry and come to a decision. Yer the one hackin' this. I'll help though, not a greenhorn to this business."

" Well, at least we know there's something for us to hack," he remarked. " But you're right. Let's find an alley--" The roar of... whatever it was cut him off. " ...Something tells me whatever that is is here because of us." He glanced at Logan and, ignoring both the aliens arguing and the one making eyes at him (he had trained himself in not giving mixed signals), led him into a nearby alleyway. He'd then look to his phone, running the program like Charlie showed him to try to hack the nearest security camera and then the network it was connected to. Hopefully he'd get a bird's-eye-view of the city, and be able to find both the group's quarry and find out what had made that sound.

The beast's master was no where in the immediate area. The creature continued to smash through buildings, making it's way toward the entrance way. It was unclear why it took this path. If Kasumi followed it she may end up finding the Hunter once again; or the alien monster was just let lose in the city and happened to chose the path it did. Either way, as it smashed through the city innocents were in it's way and were getting hurt. " Seems like someone has an eye out fer ya." He chuckled, though he'd already formulated his own opinions about the alien. He'd been with quite a few himself, and they all, by far, looked a hell of a lot more attractive than this. As advanced as Dean's hacking program was, the technology in this system was beyond anything on this planet. It did manage to connect to the system, but someone was one the other side. After a few moments, a voice spoke to the pair from Dean's phone. "Hello there, trying to hack our systems I see." It was obvious this voice didn't match the image of the Hunter they saw, but that didn't mean this was someone they should trust.

" I'm guessing asking nicely wouldn't get us the answers we need at this point?" Dean asked, glancing at Logan before covering the mic on his phone and quietly saying, " I'll see if I can get any answers out of this guy--just go check on loudmouth, wherever he is." Dean looked around a moment before returning to the call, removing his hand from the microphone. " Look, I didn't mean to offend or breach national security or anything, I just need to find this... guy, and this was the quickest option." He said this with a charming smile, as if the one he was talking to could see him. Though, it might be that he could.

" Who knows, askin' nicely at this point might just score ya some brownie points. Better ta ask fer forgiveness than permission and all that bullshit. In the meantime..." A gruff inhalation followed, with the nod of his head in agreement with Dean-o's latter statement. " I think I'll do that, maybe I can make a friend." ... " More like I get to kill something'. Always fun, that." With that, Logan inconspicuously broke away from Dean, merging into the scattering crowd that ran in the direction opposite to the noise. Always a good indicator where the fun was at. It wasn't long until he found the source, and it looked as monstrous as it'd sounded. Something out of the Savage Lands with an alien touch to its physiology. Well, it certainly was an alien, he got that much from, well, everything here. Still, a tyrannosaurus rex, an alien one at that, going on a rampage was certainly a cause for concern. It didn't concern Wolverine though, he'd faced down just the regular ol' joe T-rex in the Savage Lands with fair success. Maybe this wouldn't turn out to be so different. He approached the beast from behind, joints popping with muscles tensed at the ready. On second thought, he really shouldn't treat it like a rex, it was a different beast altogether. Maybe he'd be better off if he went about it with an attack of the stealthy variety. If he could just get onto its back and to its neck... Off he went!

The voice on the other end of the line grumbled something, "Well, you can stop hacking our systems and bring it up with the authorities if it's so important now couldn't you?" the woman asked, before adding - under her breath, "especially while we're still trying to get all the bugs out from the first hack." " It wasn't long until he found the source, and it looked as monstrous as it'd sounded. Something out of the Savage Lands with an alien touch to its physiology. As Wolverine stalked his prey, there was a high-pitched whistle - like the one heard before the rampage started. Before Logan's eyes the t-rex like monster transformed into a giant wormlike creature In less than a second the worm burrowed it's way underground.

Wolverine had never been one to shy away from a fight, especially one riveting as wrasslin' with an alien tyrannosaur. His eagerness was readily marked in the display of his claws, the typical snikt accompanying the act. " Well, I ain't usually killin' just for the fun of it, usually got a reason. If ya were just a docile thing, like the regular rexes can be back home, there would be no problem here. But as is, with you terrorizing everyone else... well, can't let it slide." As much as Logan preferred to avoid the spotlight, it seemed unavoidable at this point. Especially with the others seemingly mia except for Deano. Wolverine's clawful appendages would be splayed out to the sides, the frame of his body going low as to limit his visual profile on approach from behind. Then a sharp whistle pierce the air, eliciting a a reaction in the form of surprise upon Howlett's features as he jerked to the source of the sound. Then he refocused his keen eyes upon the alien monstrosity, eyes growing wide as they lost that feral edge for a moment. In its place was sheer, incredulous surprise. The fuckin' thing had just transformed before him, completely going from an alien dinosaur to... an alien burrower of some kind? To be honest, he had seen similar instances in his life time. Just the nature of it and circumstance made it difficult to be stonefaced about it as was Logan's custom. For all his experience, it was still impossible even not to be prepared for the unexpected, what with expect the unexpected. Damn. " Huh, didn't expect that. What with the red flash and all; it ain't natural I can surmise as much." ... " Right, talkin' to myself." Being the absolutely bold daredevil that Wolverine was, the hairy lil' scamp, he edged nearer and nearer to the hole where it'd dug down into and through. A sharp intake of breath and he shook his head, exhaling with disgust on his features. " Christ, it already smelled somethin' rank and now the new form's brought a new odor into the mix. Yer owner doesn't clean ya, does he?" A slight incline of the head as he peered over the shoulder to the direction of the whistle he'd heard. " Yer like a trained dog, if that's a feasible guess. Good a place as any ta start." Still though, before he furthered that assumption? He took another look, eyes furrowing as he looked down the tunnel. Probably wouldn't see much considering a lot of things never burrowed in a straight line. Regardless, that wasn't why he looked. " Gotta be certain it ain't doubling around to sneak up on lil' old me." Tremors and vibration, an increase in odor, any other sensory information woulda been helpful. " If not..." He rolled his head, finalizing with a shrug of the shoulders. " Better check on babyface." Sure, the kid could take care of himself against most things. But there were unknown variables... So if nothing happened to Wolverine spontaneously, well, he'd go do just that.

"I basically work in IT," the voice said, slightly annoyed in the 'I don't get paid enough for this' way. "If you want to speak to the authorities you need to call the plumbers. They'll handle any threats to security." After a brief pause, the woman Dean was speaking to said, "I don't see how we can help each other. I'm not authorized to give you access to the cameras, but if you can deal with this monster, then I'll be more than happy to see what we can work out." Still though, before he furthered that assumption? He took another look, eyes furrowing as he looked down the tunnel. So if nothing happened to Wolverine spontaneously, well, he'd go do just that.
At this point, Wolverine wouldn't be surprised by the rumbling coming up directly under his feet as the worm burrowed up directly under his feet. It burst from the ground, it's jaws open to snap and swallow Logan. If he managed to avoid the worm's mouth, the alien bug creature would rise up to it's full height in a mere second, before bending down to look at Wolverine and spit three giant green balls of acid at him.
