Hiroto enters the Senators and shakes his hand firmly "Hello Senator, it is an honor to finally meet you. I believe you already know Fen from her trips here with my father." Fen bowed and passed Hiroto a dagger sheathed in an ornate sheath "A gift" continued Hiroto as he handed the dagger to the Senator who takes it with a smile.

Tord got his coin for the wood, then proceeded to go about his way. No point in staying any longer, not when there's a party to be had.
Tord walked through the market, ready to spend some of that coin at the Legion's Fist.

Seeing the whole event unfolding, Sir William slurped down the last bit of his pint and left the table. He didnt know a whole lot about the monks but he did know they were honest and peaceful people. Sir William stepped between the Shaolin and their accosters with his hands up to both sides. Pausing for a moment he looked at both parties, then focusing his attention on the accusers said, "What seems to be the misunderstanding fellas? Surely we can handle this in a peaceful manner." With that Sir William let his templar markings and sword be seen slightly by the aggressors.

Hansel watched with interest the altercation unfold with the monk, he saw a fellow monk intervene, not surprising they stayed together, then he saw a knight step up clearly a Templar, Hansel smiled now here was a man showing what it meant to be a knight!
Chivalry wasn't dead it seemed and seemingly moved Hansel shoved his way to the altercation he didn't make a threatening gesture but he just stood alongside the knight and in front of the monks leaning on his halberd nonchalantly. He hoped he wasn't gone long enough to lose his caravan guard job though.

OOC: I hope I'm not pushing it, but since my character was a merchant for most of his life, I'm going to make it seem like he knows this certain vendor. If I'm in the wrong, I'll change it . Numerius kept his distance from the little argument, he having his fair share of haggling foreigners when he was a merchant. Many of his fond memories where of his father's guards beating up thieves that attempted to steal from the market. However, when you have everyone leaning on their swords, things tend to get out of hands quickly. Strolling casually towards the merchant, he gave a little wave towards him. "Is something the matter here?" He asked, giving a respectful nod towards the knight and the monk.

Minnora circled around the edge of the market, careful to keep her head down and steer clear of the commotion. It's not like she didn't care about the poor Shaolin boy, but she knew better than to insert herself in more of Rome's affairs. Foreigners were unfairly accosted on a daily basis. Made a spectacle out of, even. Surely, this was no different.
Fortunately, it seemed like there were already some honest men stepping up to handle the situation. She could make out another monk and two men that appeared to be knights amongst the Romans. More foreigners... Perhaps it wasn't so fortunate after all...
On the far side of the market, she could make out a tavern-- perhaps a good place to lay low until the evening bell. Her stomach grumbled, reminding her how long it had been since her last meal. And that had only been a handful of berries and a trout. What she needed now was a fresh cut of cooked ham... Her pace quickened.

OOC: I just realized that I am the only person at the senators house.
Hiroto strategically moved from guest to guest. Mingling with Roman official, Templars, other Nobles and merchants from the Pearl and many other individuals that he and Fen had decided were important. As he drank and laughed Fen whispered in his ear. "Our spies haven't found anything promising yet. The only interesting thing to report is an altercation in the market. It seems two Shaolin are involved." Hiroto fanned her away as he often did so as to not rouse suspicion and then continued his conversation.

Basho was greatful for the support he received from the two strangers. But at the same time he saw the potential problem in gathering around the scene and trying to gang up on the guards. He didn't want this devolving into a brawl.
"Now now gentlemen; your help I'd most kind. But let's be careful not come across as bullies here. These men are just doing their jobs and I'm sure this is all a misunderstanding."

@market Argument
For those watching or interjecting, the merchant sniffed as he pointed.
"I am Proximous and this....Boy claims to be a Doctor. I have seen no tools of his trade nor those to denote it. He merely sits and waits with his table and rubs with little more then herbs in a jar! He is a fake and no more-"
"-My name is Lie Reynard."
The boy interrupted as he adjusted his overshirt and bowed to Bashon and those who sought to help.
"I specialize in the medicine of my people and techniques of healing. Sometimes, one does not need expensive elixirs and the like, in comparison with a rub and a listening ear."
"I am a Doctor of the Sanitarium of the Fifth Level. This boy is obviously a charlatan!"
@ Inn
Nora and Minnora would find themselves at the tavern, where travelers and more were making themselves comfortable for the Day of Census. Citizens paying their taxes and merchants here for the day...Some of which were grumbling, but low as Roman Guards off duty rested in the corner. Whatever food, drink or board would be available for them. They would also be able to hear one of the following information.
The Arena. The Market. The Senate.
Which do they choose?
@ Manor
Hiroto's gift was graciously accepted and eventually, he was found by the senator himself. Who greeted him with a smile as he opened the conversation up.
"I had colleagues who had recently returned from the Pearl after talks with your Daiymo. Your people are to be commended for their foresight."
@ Latecomers
At the gates of the city, newcomers of every stripe would be coming in.

'This is getting out of control, as a soldier and a fellow Roman, I have to put a stop to this.' Numerius thought to himself as he made his presence known.
"Now, now, Proximous let us calm down. As a fellow merchant, and having lived on these streets most of my childhood, I must say that if the boy has proper permission he should be allowed offer what services he has to offer charlatan or not."

Hiroto nodded at the Senators statement hiding his relief at not having to approach the Senator himself. Gaius, whether he knew it or not, made the opening move. "Thank Senator. It is much easier to see ahead when we have allies such as you and your country guarding our backs as we guard yours." Hiroto nodded slightly again and smiled as he continued "This is an interesting time for both our people. We have a semblance of what can be called "Peace-times" our enemies seem to be at bay. Riches spew from our lands like water from a spring. I'm not sure if I should be happy or worried for us. After all, it is said that a tiger is rarely seen before he attacks his prey."

This argument was beginning to attract a much larger audience than he had hoped. The situation was growing ever more delicate as the accuser may feel the need to try harder to save face in front a larger crowd. Addressing the loud Roman doctor, Basho said, "A charlatan? And here I thought Rome was the greatest empire this world had ever seen. I know on my many trips to and from here it has certainly proven the case. Especially when it comes to treating all religions and beliefs with respect. Are you not among your proud, enlighten brethren?" Basho had hoped that framing this man's argument as one in direct opposition to his Roman pride would help to disarm him. But he knew not to press too much, as to not offend him to the point of further hostility. "Sir, if I may. I am a widely respected doctor, in matters both physical and spiritual who has dabbled in practices from all over the world. But I am, like this boy, first and foremost a Shaolin. We believe that treating a patient spiritually is just as important as tending to physical ills. From what you describe, young Lie is merely offering a spiritual aid to the good people of Rome; something my people have been providing for generations. But if you do not believe his claims, test them. Offer the boy a chance to prove himself. Tell him of what you are in need, and allow him to aid you."

Earlier in the day, Zaynah had made a stop to wash her cloak, which had been sullied with blood on a previous mission. Luckily, the cloak was red, so any staining would be hard to notice under scrutiny. She left it out to dry in the sun, then made her way toward the bustling city streets. Entering the gate without pause, she already had a destination in mind--a new mission, rather. She kept her red hood over her head to hide her white hair; standing out was something she tried not to do. Walking briskly, she heard the crier's informative speech and smiled under her hood. "That was easy."
A commotion seemed to form in the midst of the marketplace; Zaynah deftly avoided the conflict, keeping her head down and her shoulders low. If she were lucky, no one would harass her. The Blue Eyed Devil was a name known only back in her home town, hopefully. She found the manor without much trouble, and examined the building for any footholds and ledges. If she found any, and in an area where there were no people to spot her, she'd attempt to climb the walls of the elegant manner in a stealthy fashion to the roof. If there was too much traffic, she would find an alley to rest in for a bit and wait it out.

Looking to the newest Roman to join the conversation, Sir William gave a slight nod to him after seeing that he was trying to solve the arguement rationally without conflict. "Well gentlemen, I think it would be best if we all just go on about our ways." Sir William recovered his sword with the long robe he was wearing. "My two like minded gentle, care to join me for a drink? Im buying." Sir William then offered his hand for a shake.
