Bane looked over to Backlash and nodded in agreement with him. Bane suited up as he grabbed some heavy weapons in the form of ak-47, smg machine guns, grenades, his body armor, and anything else he needed. Bane checked his mask to make sure he was good as he got prepared for the signal to be given they were at the drop point. " This should be a easy and effortless mission indeed Backlash. Just to say this one last thing my comrades. If anyone thinks about screwing up this mission and gets out of line. If anyone does anything that even remotely puts Bane's goals in jeopardy. I will personally deal with you before Waller or Backlash get the chance." After that Bane was silent and closed his eyes as he mentally prepared himself for battle like Ra's Al Ghul taught him. "Way to go. I'm sure you have everyone here scared now. Don't forget that your not the only with something depending on the success of this mission." Standing up and placing his foot on his seat Slade began to secure his boots and chexk a knife on the inside of one. |

Ebon took note of the fact that almost every man in the room had a gun or multiple guns. 'I don't blame 'em. Back when I was like them, I always used to roll with a piece. Now, I'm a living weapon.' He stared at his own clenched fist, seeing power in himself. He felt like a god among men, and now he was simply waiting to unleash.
Cheetah, the only person in the room that wasn't packing two hundred pounds of testosterone, was also without firepower. 'Maybe she's a bang baby... I could always use another power house. And that Backlash has useful abilities. This might end in my favor, if I play my cards right.'
"Let's get this over with," Ebon remarked, prepared for whatever came next.

"Hmm, that age reversal has made you a lot more chatty" Sportsmaster snarked, patting Slade on the back as he was all armored up. The floor close to the pilot's door opened up for them to jump or rappel down. "One last thing gentleman. Mind the water" she grunted. down below was the Star Labs building, about half submerged in water. The adjoining streets weren't doing better but at least were above ground... who knew how many had died. Their entrance was a door on the roof top. The place supposedly had four floors to it, but that seemed too easy. Cheetah was the first to move towards the door, hissing a bit before jumping straight down onto the roof. She stuck a 3 point landing, causing a whistle from Crock. "Anyone wanna follow our feline compatriot?" he asked. |

"Yeah well, felt like getting to know the team I'm being forced to work with. Never can be too careful." Holding an open hand towards the door, speaking to Crock "After you princess."
Looking at the destruction below, Slade asked "So Waller, when you going to join us? You miss this right?"

Backlash waited for a few moments after Cheetah had jumped down to the building before following her. In mid jump he shifted to mist, gliding safely down before returning to his corporeal form. As he stood on the roof next to Cheetah he gave her a quick glance.
"Good luck, and don't take any unnecessary chances. I would like for everybody to come back from this."

Bane followed and jumped down as he dived toward the building and landed on the ground gracefully like he had been taught by Ra's Al Ghul. Bane met up with Cheetah as he prepared along with her to enter the building and start the mission. Bane stood silently as he prepared his guns for action and was ready for his part of the team to begin.

Red hood rappeled down from the plane and landed on the roof, as he looked for an entrance. He'd wait here until the fight began, then he'd start stealing. He still thought he didn't need the backup, so he'd prefer a head start before the others, see what he could do on his own. He was pretty sure the idiots were gonna cause a mess though, and if they did he noted he'd have to go back for them since being alone when that happened would cause some trouble.

Slade gave Crock a push out the aircraft door, as he grabbed the rappel line and slide down with one hand. Landing with a matalic thump. Rising to his full height he waited for Backlash to give the command.

'hey!!"Crock grunted out, falling out of the ship in a shock. Luckily he so happened to have his grapple pistol at disposal, Slade saw him stop his fall halfway down. As Slade waited on Backlash, Crock came the rest of the way down. "Funny guy, I'll remember that" he grunted bitterly, dusting himself off and grabbing his shoulder lightly. Red Hood noted the roof entrance which would lead some stairs, though upon opening it, the lights weren't working. Only some ambient light wold lead them downstairs. Cheetah furrowed her nose as well.
"It smells like an indoor pool in there" she grunted, preferring to not be point man.

Bane looked to Cheetah surprised at her fear
" My darling are you afraid of a little darkness. I grew up in darkness and conquered it at a early age. Let me be point man and tell the rest to be on guard Cheetah"
Bane would enter through the door to lead his team as he had his guns ready and took out a flash grenade in hand ready for action.
" Everyone ready?"

"Just offering some advice but seeing as the stairway is the easiest exterior entrance into the building, if someone is already here it could be booby trapped. Also with the craft we just exited not being exactly silent they could easily ambush us on the stairs and we would be sitting ducks."
Slade then drew his sword and held out a hand with an explosive in it offering the idea of creating a surprise entrance to the group.

"Time to find out how accurate this info is."
Once his internal check was complete he followed Bane into the doorway, shifting his torso to mist while moving.
"Hood, you're on point, lets see if that legendary bat-family stealth is as good as they say. I'll give you directions once we're in the building proper. Deathstroke, you bring up the rear."

"Suit your self. 10-4" Pulling back the explosive, he placed it in a pouch on his belt. He kept his back to his team as he entered the stairway. He stopped for a brief moment to rig the door with a flashbang trip wire to give them a heads up if someone unwanted entered behind them. In the narrow stair well Slade put back his sword and drew his knife and pistol due to the space confinment. |

No Light? No problem. He'd been trained by Bruce for years, he was used to working in the dark. Before he entered he checked for alarms, and he'd proceed if he didn't find any. He was quick footed, quick witted and much more importantly, he was stealthy. He kept aware of the surroundings, checking for traps was second nature to him, and he tried to keep an eye out for what he was looking for.

Bane move forward down the stairs as he raised his machine gun ready to shoot anything that attacked him in the dark. Bane noticed Backlash following behind him as he was satisfied his team leader had the guys like him to enter the stairs no question asked. Bane had shook his head in disappoint at the mention of the grenade. A rookie and fool's mistake that would have been.
" From here I would suggest everyone remain silent and on guard. Time to move in."
Bane slowly and effortlessly like Ra's taught him moved down the stairs. One would never think a man his size could move so gracefully.
