I hate you guys, because every character entered is either my "favorite at _____" or the "best use of ______", so it's really hard to make a decision.
Why can't you all just suck?

Results
Every entry was absolutely great. This was a hard one to decide, as every character brought something cool and unique to the table. Each of you are winners in your own right. But three of you are also totally losers. So in no real order, here we go.
Nihlium: Gaspar the Gatling
Gaspar has my favorite powers, employing teleportation and telekinesis in with martial arts was a cool and creative choice. I would have expected nothing less, as most of your characters have some pretty awesome powers attached to them. I also really liked the super powered fighting league, it's a great place for a villain like Gaspar, and definitely has potential for use in future fics.
Darkender: Aiko Efuru
The only character without superior martial arts, but Aiko still comes out looking good. I liked the “One with Earth” power, and you were the only one to decide to put a weapon in your fighter's hand, and a sword fits well with the theme. This is a character with more story to go, and even though this isn't the winner I'd love to see that. It feels like this character has the most to build off of.
Kevindwolf93: Connor “CJ Wolf” Jackson
I think I like this character as a personality the most of the bunch. CJ sounds smart, snarky, and yet tough as nails. It's a cool combination of personality traits. And it sounds like you got everything you wanted out in this sheet. There's also good use of some common terms used in martial arts, like the double leg takedown and roundhouse kicks. All in all, a really solid entry that nearly made the top.
The Winner (and I don't like doing this)
Deo: Xue Bai
Easily the most “human” of the bunch. A pampered girl seeking revenge, Xue has allusions to both Snow White and the Bride. The powers on her are probably the closest to what I would expect to see in this tournament, but they're done so well I don't care that they may not be the most creative choices. You managed to show real character growth in a short sheet, and I think the story here really felt the most “martial-artist”-like of the bunch. And the character has another story ready to be told.
I actually almost decided against you just because you had already done two contests, but you can pass off responsibility if you're not willing to judge to someone who is. As for now, March is in your hands.

It's good to know I've still got the power. Though it was definitely close, you guys managed to do some interesting things with 250 words. And now I'll have to start that Battle Royale Rumble sometime. Probably closer towards the end of the week.
As for next (actually this month's) contest I'll hand it off to the next person (Except for bergy) who claims the title of 'Viceroy' in a post. I actually prefer competing more then judging so that's fine. I have no real suggestions for a theme so go wild.
