With Valentine's Day nearly here, love is in the air. The bees are buzzing around the birds, the young men are chasing the beautiful young women, and hearts are fluttering with emotion.
But this is Reach, and what this city needs ain't a bunch of horny kids. This city needs fighters. And that's exactly what you're gonna give it.
This month, write for me the best damned fighter you can. Maybe they're a drunken kung-fu master, or maybe a bare knuckle boxer who's wandered into the ring for the first time. Skill level doesn't matter. What I want are good solid characters.
Rules and Guidelines:
-Must be a street level hero or villain. We'll stick with the 14 point system here, no powers above superior.
-Must have at least one level in martial arts. I won't give any limit to what other powers your character takes, but remember that martial arts is really the focus.
-Bonus points for technical terms. Describing a 1-2 combo is better than saying "a flurry of fists" to me.
-All sections at 250 words or less. Brevity is sometimes your friend.
-Must be in the database. Analysis isn't enough.
-Characters are due by noon on Saturday, February 28th. I'll try to have my decision by that day at midnight.
-And make 'em sexy. Or don't. But I kinda like sexy when it's done right.
