Hope you're all having a good holiday. For me, the food was good. Football.. not so much. Bears lost, Cowboys are down 7 make that 10, and don't really know if I care about tonight's Seahawks/49ers game.
Shopping is pretty woeful, this year, too. Anyone else disappointed, in this year's sales? Nothing I want is really on sale, 'cept for Xillia 2, which I'm going to try to snag from Amazon, later tonight. Doesn't help, I guess, that I don't own a current gen system, now. Well, besides a handheld, that's pretty much dead. I keep hoping to get a 32 GB Vita card, for $40 or less, but not having much luck.
I did end up ordering Asura's Wrath, this morning, though. Figured $8 was a pretty good buy, even if it's used. Cheapest I've seen the PS3 version, at least(most places want $20 or more, with some Amazon sellers asking about $16). Can get the 360 version for $10, anytime, from Best Buy. But I, honestly, don't use my 360, that much, these days. So, I try to get the PS3 version(or even Vita), whenever possible.
But, so far, that's all I've bought, this year. Quite a bit less, than previous years.

Happy Thanksgiving! I got to see Gloria Estefan in person and get my younger brother a picture with her at this big celebration she was doing at her Bongos restaurant at the Hard Rock. Then I went on to enjoy Turkey Day afterwards. Tomorrow I will hit the Black Friday sales and the huge sale my comic book shop is doing.

Sounds a lot more exciting, than my day. Lol. And best of luck, man. I know last year, I got lucky, that not everyone was doing "Black Thursday." Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have gotten my PS3, when I did. This time around, it looks like everyone's doing their sales, tonight.. Hope you find what you're looking for, if it's anything specific.

I my country we do not celebrate the "Giving of the Thanks" that you Americans celebrate. Lol, jk. I moved back to Uruguay last February, and it's weird seeing the major differences between the cultures. Sure, some things are being integrated here now. We celebrate Halloween, for one, that only really went main stream about 2 years ago. Christmas is in the middle of summer, with the average temp. being 32 C, or 90 F. We do have Black Friday though! It's only in certain stores, and mostly online like a Cyber Monday thing. Also it's Friday & Saturday. Although I don't really want much...I'm just happy my family is happy  . I could almost swear, it sounds like something Starfire would say. And may have. It's been awhile, since I last watched Teen Titans. SSJRuss: Good luck. And like Kwolf said, try not to get trampled.. I don't know if there's been any of that, this year, or not. But there probably has. Which TV were you trying to get(or got)? I know they said the 50 inch, for $199, was gone in minutes. ^^' I'd like to try and get one, myself, but just don't think it's worth going out on Black Fri-Thursday. We went out, on Tuesday, for a couple of Pre-Black Friday sales, and things were nuts then. Some moron pulled out in front of us, and my Dad had to step on the break, to avoid hitting him.. Also, doesn't help that we live 35 miles away from everything. :/ Xillia 2 lightning deal went live, a little bit ago, and I was able to order one. So, I'm good. ^^ |

Ah. At least you'll get one, in the end. (: Almost wanted to kick myself, for not thinking of the 1 hour guarantee thing.. But if I'm reading the ad right, it was just those 50 inches and a more expensive 65 inch, that were part of that. I wasn't looking to spend quite that much. Either the 40 for $119, or the 32 for $99(might have even been one for $79; can't remember) were the ones I was considering.

I may or may not be trying to brave the elements, tomorrow morning. Learned Target's got Sony Gold Wireless Headsets, for only $39. Thirty. Nine. Dollars. That's insane! I was considering getting a headset, for my PS3, and these would also work for my Vita. And a PS4, should I ever get one, making me not have to buy a second headset, when and if I do.
The Target closest, to me, still has them in stock, according to their website. I'll have to double check, tomorrow. If it's still showing they're available, we may be making a trip out of town. Wish me luck.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I didn't celebrate Thanksgiving until Friday. I spent Thursday at work surrounded by a bunch of thieves, drunks, killers, and rapists. Just another day at work.
Didn't do any shopping and just watching college football today.

Damn.. Sorry, to hear you had to work, on Thanksgiving. My old man was a prison guard, for many years. So, while never experiencing it, myself, I have an idea what it's like.
Stores had been pretty cleaned out, by today. Couldn't really be helped, since my dad works on Fridays, and we didn't want to go out Thursday night. Got some stuff, though. I bought Ys, for the Vita, and the infamous headset. Paid $70, for it, though..
So stupid. We got down there, and the guy I asked said they had one left. He went in the back to find it, and came out with a white one. The white ones were not on sale. Just the black ones. There's only one kind listed, on the website. The shelf tag doesn't specify what color, either. Ended up walking out of there, with nada.
We went to GameStop, afterwards, which is where I bought it and Ys. But, like I said, had to pay $70. Better than $100, but not nearly the deal Target had. Don't know if complaining, on the website, will result in anything. But I did it, anyways, 'cause I think it's messed up.
Edit: Adding insult to injury, a couple people on Cag, got the whites, for $39, 'cause the tag didn't specify color...

...Welp, not getting Asura's Wrath, either. Just checked my order status, and it's been cancelled.. They either couldn't find it, someone ordered at the same time, or someone sold it by accident(it'd be nice, if you were given a reason). Why it took until today, I'll never know. Had it been cancelled, right away, I could have ordered Skyrim: Legendary Edition or Freedom Wars for $15, during the Cyber Monday sale. *Headdesks. Repeatedly.*
