Theres just so many, it's making my head spin! I agree with omfg. All the suspense is gone. We know too much.
The eventual inclusion of Spider-Man in the MCU is cool I guess, but I just hope they don't give him another freaking origin story (they probably won't, since Sony are helping out)! Characters like Strange and Danvers need them since they aren't in the public consciousness, but Spider-Man certainly doesn't.
Wait, wait. Oh god! The hipster side of me is taking ove-
I can guess exactly what will happen here. People have no idea about these characters now, but as soon as these films come out, they'll act like they were always fans of these characters and pretend to know all about their comic counterparts as well.
*hipster side disappears*
Okay, that may sound downright parodic of how hipsters act, but I genuinely do think that way sometimes. It does sometimes annoy me, but I'm stupid, so yeah.

Everyone knows most of the Justice League's main roster so they don't need prior films like the Avengers and need all that building up. The Justice League is iconic and well know in pop culture. Two I like the realistic take and they do need to be careful not to be too dark. However Marvel is putting out too many films constantly and needs to calm down a bit. Superman killing Zod is going to show you why Superman adopted the no killing code and always finds another way. Christopher Reeve killed his General Zod. Are people that fucking stupid or do they ignore that? They fucked up Jonathan Kent which was a big no...no and yes we needed more cheerful moments in Man of Steel but I still loved that film. Clark Kent was too moody at times to be fair however he had his good moments like learning to fly, chats with Lois, the chat with the Preacher, Superman walking throughout Smallville telling people to get to safety which people fucking didn't pay attention to, and more. Three his third point makes no fucking sense. He used one image of Batman that wasn't even a promo image just a photo put out to show people what Batman will look like. Next Superman looks badass in that photo and his bright colors shines in the image.
Last I agree Zack is wrong we don't need a Superman that reflects our time. Just give us the Superman we want and end of story.

False. Captain America and Iron Man are just as well known as the majority of the Justice League and still got universe building prior films. No, the realistic take is terrible outside of those such as Batman. No, Clark learning to fly was not that great especially when he proved to be a dick to the wildlife. Telling people to get to safety in Smallville?
Bitch please. With how that fight went down, there wasn't any place safe in the town. And again, no. Those colors aren't bright by any definition of the word.

Marvel Studios are like the Toho of this generation of film makers, in that they pump out two or more movies every year set in the same universe, just like in the Godzilla franchise. I agree with the comment that Marvel should calm down a bit, since I stand by what I posted before. All suspense for future films have been bashed. The James Bond franchise have actually done this right. Skyfall was a great film and I loved it, and my anticipation for a sequel lasted up until Spectre was announced. That's how you build up hype for a movie sequel.
I sometimes get the feeling that some people don't actually watch the Marvel films but just look for more characters to make creepy shipping slash fics with. Oh, so apparently the whole underlying message of the Thor film is that Thor secretly wants to get with Loki? No, just no. Not everything has to be romantic or sexual. Sherlock, the one show that has been on the receiving end of this bullcrap non-stop, parodied this insane trend in the first episode of the third series. Classic.
As for DC, they're basically doing the exact same thing as Marvel and come across as total copycats because of it. They barely even try to hide this fact. Also, I don't know why Batman got top billing in Dawn of Justice alongside the real main character Superman, when there are several other characters who have been suggested to have just as important to the plot as Bruce like Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Linking in with the Toho similarities, there was a film called Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. Perhaps Dawn of Justice should be renamed 'Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg: Superhero Copycats No-Holds-Barred Assault'.

I said DC doesn't need to since there heroes are iconic and have always been well know in our culture. Yeah Avengers needed that first Ironman film since before he wasn't a A list hero and the general audience didn't really know who the hell Ironman really was. People knew about Hulk and Captain America. But Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Ironman? Yeah no. Even Thor still suffered that same problem to a certain degree but not much since Thor is pretty popular in general. Yeah you want to show me what wildlife was actually hurt when he was learning to fly? Come on be fair here. Superman's suit doesn't stand out in that picture with the dark background of the city? How colorful do you want the picture?

It was never said anyone but Batman had just important a role as him. Everyone else is going to be cameos like it should be.

I doubt that they would show us incredibly detailed character designs for characters who are only going to make it in the film as cameos.

No. A big just no. Shoehorning them into a movie should not be the way, especially since you seem to fail to realize they're MAKING ORIGIN FILMS ANYWAY! But after Justice League comes out which is just asinine.
And yeah sure, I can show you exactly where Superman was a dick to wildlife.

2:15 and thereabouts. Totally unnecessary but hey it's Superman! Inspirational heroism!
And look at the picture in your sig. Or the one in your avatar. That is bright and colorful. Contrasted with Man of Steel, which is dark and moody.
And what potter said.

I didn't even notice that when I watched the film. He doesn't even give a shit about the poor antelope he just plowed through! What an arsehole!

LOL oh shit I didn't see that. Your right about that so I will give you that one. I didn't fail to realize anything. I already told you everyone knows about the JLA. They don't need to copy Marvel and do origin films first. Everyone knows who Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Flash , Aquaman, and Green Lantern. That's why there more popular and iconic. Marvel needed to do origin films because Ironman and Thor needed origins for people to know who they are. Why is it Marvel is the only one who can build a universe and have cameos according to comic fans? Ironman the first film had Captain America's shield as a nod, Nick Fury, Incredible Hulk had Tony Stark appear, Ironman 2 had a crapload of stuff, and more. DC has already confirmed there cameos. There not shoehorning anything in. Ok fair point about the colorful and bright. People (Not you Nova. Superman fans) bitched for years they wanted something different then the Christopher Reeve Superman, they hated Superman Returns (Ironically enough because it had no action and was trying to pay respect to Christopher Reeve), and more. If DC decided to do a Superman film where they first show you what he went through before he became the symbol for hope and cheerful hero we know I don't have a problem with it. Nova you make some great points. Some of this is the fans fault. It's not all DC.

By the way Hawkeye was confirmed for Captain America Civil War. Nice to know he makes it in Avengers 2. I guess its just the secondary characters like Pepper and more we should worry about. Or maybe Ultron like in the comics kills a entire country and that's the death Joss was hinting at.

Superman is always getting shat on 24/7 nowadays, even though he's made millions upon millions of people happy over the years and helped to form pop culture what it is today (look at me, talking about a fictional character like he's a real person, but it's true). Superman deserves way more respect than he gets from ignorant YouTube commenters and the like. I've always had respect for genuinely good and kind fictional characters like Superman, Captain America, and, as I more recently discovered, the Falcon. However, people always have the right to say their opinions.

That to me is the insult. People don't get his character, even DC doesn't sometimes. Hell, the Chris Reeves movies got it right. DC is stupid for NOT giving the members their own movies. Less revenue.

I love Man of Steel and have it on DVD. But the last thing we needed was another Superman origin film when we had Smallville for 10 seasons. You wanna know why we didn't get a Christopher Reeve type of film? Fans bitching Classic Superman we love is boring, they want something different, Superman in awesome fight scenes, and more. DC Fans don't know what the hell they want.
