"Jackpot!!!" Said Nero when his headshot hit its mark. The demon hunter cracked a half smile seeing Black Star. He'd run over to the blue haired boy. "Black Star you're okay!" He said with glee. "Umm actually all of us beat him you kinda lost."
Nero almost forgot with all the fighting and Black Star being okay that Tsubaki still around. "TSUBAKI his okay where are you!!??"

"Huh? What are you talking about? Of course I beat him, the big dumb lizard tried to swallow me and I was just too hot to handle! " Black Star said with a laugh. This all of course only happened in Black Star's version of the events, but he wasn't the kind of person to be persuaded other wise.
He spotted Tsubaki in her Chain Scythe form. The blue haired ninja ran over and picked it up his weapon. "Hey Tsubaki, we won, time to come out and..." Black Star paused, as if listening to the weapon, "Oh... Alright I guess."
Assuming Nero followed him, Black Star would turn to him and say, "Tsubaki says she's not gonna come out so that we don't ruin the element of surprise." The chain wrapped around and smacked him in the back of the head. "OW! What was..." Black Star paused, "Alright... I said alright!"
Black Star finally looked around long enough to see the other heroes. "Who are they?"

  In the sky, the outlines of the monsters breaking into the cities were only faintly visible. Those with the best eyesight might be able to discern two distinct variations. They seemed to either be minding their own business, or ignoring the lost heroes. Jennifer looked up with a frown, unsure of what to make of them. "That can't be good," the anodite commented toward Ocelot. She turned back toward the defeated Shendu, breathing a sigh a relief. That's when she noticed who stood in his place. She heard Ocelot but couldn't help but fall back down to ground level on a platform of mana. "Black Star?! We thought you--I mean, well, when he--you know..." Usually, when people were eaten, they tended to stay that way. Nonetheless, Jen was more than happy to see a friendly face. It seemed like Nero shared that sentiment. "I'm not sure," Jen replied toward Black Star's final comment. She didn't know who these newcomers were. "We saw them in trouble, and we agreed we had to do something, you know?" Jen now looked at the group of heroes almost expectantly. From Ocelot to Crocodile to Mikasa, they all looked worse for wear, especially Mikasa, as she drudged toward the group. "My name is Mikasa." She spat out a bit of blood and leaned on a sword. "Just what the hell is going on here?" As she spoke, she tossed a glance at Ocelot and motioned for him to come down, if possible. Mikasa noticed that Black Star, Nero and Jen also had rings just like hers. Jen was the first to respond, "We're all lost here, away from our homes... but hope isn't lost. Mikasa, we know how you feel. Nero, Black Star and myself... we're all that's left. But I think we can help each other get back to where we belong." |

Black Star just smiled at Jen's question, "It was all part of my plan. 'Assassins Rule Number One - Silence: Dissolve in the darkness and erase your breath. Wait for an opening to attack your target.' I let the big lizard think he ate me so I could take him out from the inside! Dumb thing never saw it coming."
This, again, was only true is Black Star's mind. In reality, what appeared to be Shendu eating the hero was an attempt at absorbing Black Star and bringing him to the masters for study.
When Mikasa approached, Black Star responded in his typical mouthy way, "How the hell should I know? This stupid ring found me and next thing I know I'm supposed to save all reality." Black Star shrugged, then put his hands casually behind his head, "Of course you don't have anything to worry about. They picked the right man, ME! THE INVINCIBLE BLACK STAR!"

Crocodile was more than pleased to see Shendu finally go down. His efforts had not gone in vain after all. The moment Shendu turned to dust, Croc retook his human form in full and staggered over to the heroes, letting his wounds get a chance to heal on the way. Jennifer glanced uneasily at Crocodile as he approached. She'd heard what he said during his brief revelation with Nero. It seemed he didn't agree with the people he was under, not so long ago. However, that wasn't quite the issue. At a moment notice, he might decide to turn again, and he didn't seem to mind killing. Jen didn't trust him. She had some information on what was going on, but didn't feel comfortable spilling out a plan. "How do we know we can trust you? Everything we know is at stake." Mikasa nodded. "We don't know anything about you. Except that your friend swallowed Black Star here." |

He had yet decided if that was good or not, seeing as if the heroes decided to turn against him, they'd have extra help. Croc thought it best to ignore Black Star's arrival and turned his attention back to the girl called Jen. "I can assure you, Shendu was no friend of mine. And I don't expect your trust. I did what I did because I'm done being a puppet!" |

Ocelot quietly files in besides Mikasa, Black Star was making a scene but he didn't like the crocodile guy so much...on account of attempting to murder him and his new lady friend.
"Puppet or not, you had quite a bit of conviction when you were attacking us" he points out, taking a moment to do a weapons check on his new equipment. "If you're going to be hanging around us then I recommend giving us something to trust".

"My spiky haired friend here does have a point.If you give us a tactical advantage that's one thing but if nobody here wants you then I'd start to think up some kind of peace offering very soon" he grunts. "Either way, don't expect me to present my back to you any time soon".

But don't think I won't do what needs to be done if you turn on us. We've already lost too much on this forsaken planet." Jen fingered her golden ring anxiously. It made her uneasy when her swords were useless against Shendu, and she wondered how useful they would be against Crocodile should he decide to pull a double agent. Even titans fell against her blades, but this new world was impossibly more dangerous. Ocelot's electric weapon seemed to be just fine after it's use, though he's find his fuel at the halfway point in regards to his three dimensional maneuvering gear. All in all, everything was fully functional. "Trust...If I have to hear that again..." Crocodile muttered to himself then gave a proper response. "Trust me or not. I've been through this before. Mikasa pointed at the sky toward the creatures flying into the city. There seemed to be hundreds or more flocking through the gaping hole in the glassy dome. From within, strange green flashes of light radiated outward, along with the occasional yet persistent explosion. "Who or what is fighting back? It's like a war in there." Mikasa gritted her teeth. "I don't know about those creatures, but the people in that city are evil people, I can say that much. Your master," Jen paused to glance at Crocodile, "had his servants kill all the natives of this world. It's just a husk of its former self. A foundation for a machine that needs to be destroyed. I think that's why we're here. It's possible that those creatures may not be so evil, but I can't tell if that makes them our allies... I can feel their hunger." Mikasa frowned. "...Black Star, just don't let any dragons eat you again. They are harder to beat from the inside. I think..." Jen pondered for a moment. "...." She didn't agree with bringing this new person along but didn't feel up to drawing out the discussion. She would watch her back around him, and that was that. She spat more blood before looking over her wounds. She didn't know how much blood she'd lost but she knew better than to leave the wounds to bleed. She took off her jacket and began slicing it into strips for bandages. "We should go as soon as possible." She said bluntly. |

He enjoyed turning people to his side and manipulating them, but now wasn't the time and he was still in pain from him injuries. Begrudgingly, Croc looked around at the heroes in silence, remembering his decision to side with them. Whether he liked it or not, they needed to work like a team to survive whatever the master had coming for them. After several long seconds, Crocodile reached into his coat and pulled two odd looking fruit from it. One an avocado and the other some sort of melon. "If all you want is a peace offering, then here", Sir Crocodile stated. "These are called Devil Fruits. There native to my world and once eaten will give you the select power it holds. This, of course, is how I became a sand man. I've kept these Devil Fruits hidden with me for some time now. I didn't dare give them up to Shendu or that damn alien for fear they'd become to powerful. I had planned on finding a way to gain their powers myself without them killing me, as one cannot consume more than one devil fruit. But it matters little now." Croc paused, eyeing each of them. "I have only two, so only two of you can have them. I care little for which of you decide. The avocado contains the Supa Supa no Mi, the ability to make your body into a steel blade. It is a Paramecia type of fruit that changes your physical form if desired. The melon one is a Zoan Type fruit, meaning it has three different forms you can change from. Your original form, a fully transformed form, and a hybrid form. This one in particular is called the Mecha-Mecha no Mi, making its user a 10 foot tall robot." "Before any of you decide, know that you can't reverse these effects and will have a weakness to sea water. You will lose the ability to swim in any form and will drown if try. Just a fair warning." |

Ocelot quickly wipes the Zoan fruit as Crocodile offered it, the fruit itself sounding interesting...maybe he'd get an Ocelot.
"Seems the group's on your side for now" he comments. Personally, he didn't like having a guy like him around- though if this man didn't seem to want to betray the current squad, no strong thoughts were currently entering Ocelot's head. After hearing his comment to Mikasa and Jen, he nods before helping her bandage her wounds with bits of his duster...not turning his back to Crocodile as he speaks in his Adam tone. "I get it...the enemy of my enemy can kill each other for all we care. Guess it's up to the guys who know what they're doing if we follow that bit advice or not...so long as it's not a big deal I say it's the best piece of news I've heard out of Mr. Sandman." he says before motioning to Jen if she needed any makeshift bandages...might as well ruin his coat only once.

Black Star turned his nose up at the fruit. "I'm already unbeatable, why would I want to add a stupid weakness like water? Besides, who wants fruit? Now if you had magic steak then I might consider it!" He looked at the rest of the group and added, "If you want to tag along fine, it's not like you could take us all on if you decide to turn on us anyway."
He looked toward the city and listened to Crocodile's explanation about the creatures. "I'm not going to run away from a fight, or leave it to chance that these creeps get what's coming to them..." He looked to his weapon and paused, as if listening to someone. "Oh, yeah, good point Tsubaki," Black Star muttered, before addressing the group again, "Who says these creatures winning would be better anyway? If they're dangerous enough to be a threat to the masters or whatever they are, they could be a danger to everything else too."
