Peter is my top vote to take this match. It's going to be a all you can eat buffet of powers for him. You add in the fact Peter and Sylar's abilities showed no limit in the amount of powers they can have before Season 3. Peter ends up winning.

No my friend. Tiamat is the queen of dragons. She can call on lesser dragons to assist her in killing the Justice League and the Taisen heroes and the other players. And poor Peter will end up going down with the rest of them.

Yeah, this may really depend on which version of Tiamat is in this battle.

Tiamat and Peter are the only real contestants here.
However, I don't think Tiamat can call on random dragons. The entry says "Tiamat", not "Tiamat and her subordinates".
I'll wait for the admin/tournament creator to make a ruling on that though.
But I haven't seen arguments that would make Tiamat a clear winner against Peter, with his plethora of various powers.

Yeah, this may really depend on which version of Tiamat is in this battle. When people were picking characters for their team, some of them didn’t state what versions they were using. I would think for the characters that are not stated, we would go by their most powerful version. However, I don't think Tiamat can call on random dragons. The entry says "Tiamat", not "Tiamat and her subordinates". If Tiamat has that ability, then yes, she can call dragons to help her. The same thing can be said to the people of the Super Hero Taisen Universe, who can call for their vehicles and giant robots to help them fight.

Peter with Claire's healing factor can survive a nuclear explosion. People are missing the point here. Peter is going to instantly get everyone's abilities here like you know Superman, Flash, Bra, and more. Also Peter can stop time in seconds with Hiro's ability and keep time stopped for as long as he wants. Peter is going to have his abilities plus the JLU, and more.

Just want to remind everyone that you need to cast your vote for a character in order for it to win this match.
In order to cast your vote, you need to write Vote and the name of the character.

I would prefer to wait a bit longer before voting, in case someone actually has a compelling argument.
But since we are being asked to do so:
Vote: Peter Petrelli

Vote: Tiamat (I miss the poles) I miss the polls too, but it seems that a lot of people were having trouble with them. I would prefer to wait a bit longer before voting, in case someone actually has a compelling argument. But since we are being asked to do so: Vote: Peter Petrelli Well you could always change your vote if you need to.

I know very little about these characters, but could Peter get magical powers? Or item based powers?
I mean, sure, he can slow down time and what not, but could he take down a goddess?

I know very little about these characters, but could Peter get magical powers? Or item based powers? I mean, sure, he can slow down time and what not, but could he take down a goddess? Well, let's see. Sif(from Marvel) is a goddess, and she has nothing, in terms of powers, aside from a moderate physical increase(compared to normal human). On the other hand, Death of the Endless could technically be classified as a goddess as well, and she is nigh-omnipotent. I guess the answer to that question is that it depends on the specific goddess, and the specific capabilities of the goddess. If you were specifically referring to Tiamat... Well, there are countless versions of Tiamat, and I have absolutely no idea which one is being used here. But no one has made any argument thus far, that makes her seem even remotely a threat to Peter.

Peter is going to instantly get everyone's abilities here No, he isn't. It's shown several times throughout the Heroes series that their powers originate from how their brains are altered in some way, and that copying powers is based around that. Claiming that Peter can copy other powers from other universes is a no-limits fallacy. Though, with that said, I do agree that Peter is the most likely candidate for the winner here, with his control over time and space amongst other things.
