He jumped on us for letting the FPL get "crazy". He didn't like a lot of things that went down. That's why he jumped back in with a bunch of laws and rules and well, bans... We see how that went. Anyway, it's over. I don't see a return unless one of you are a kick ass programmer? Was this something that went on, in that Mod/Admin section, of the forum? I don't recall anything, other than the Pseudo comment, which was in the Off Topic section, I thought. Didn't know there was anymore, to it, if that is what you're implying? Z451: Ahhh. I wouldn't have thought of that. With the thread deleted, I figured I just had to go off my memory. Didn't think about the Facebook group. Nice. Does make you wonder, how things would be, had that thread not existed..

I like to think of Magnetic Fox as being some kind of 'future sequel' to Electric Ferret that brings all the old cast members in the distant future back to doing what they did best, like Destroy All Monsters, which brought back all the older Kaiju from Toho's history.

It happened Rob. Ivan got it worst for a bad choice he made.

I'm sorry, to hear that.. The only public display, that I can recall, is from that kid getting burned topic. Think he said something like, maybe him and the Admins didn't think alike, as much as he thought, if they let a topic like that exist.

Yeah it was along those lines, but if I recall, he said that after someone made the retort that, the aforementioned comment was "tame" for the Off-Topic Board.

Haha, yeah, I remember that. I'm not sure, that it was ever that much worse, though. Depends on what "tame" means. Language, I'd say, got worse after that. Once the *vulgarity* for certain words, was lifted for adults, F bombs were getting dropped all over.

The forums were just basic PhP. The FPL and CBUB were basically just databases running fairly simple scripts. Add Character, Remove Character, Create Character, Run Fight. Gimme 2 months and a couple textbooks and I could set up something similar. Especially if serge would tell me how he did it the first time.

I don't know if anyone's noticed, but there was somehow a fairly minor change at the old EF. The lettering in the summaries of all the CBUB character profiles are now in all bold: www.electricferret.com/cbub/cbubcats/show?cid=1Not sure how that happened. Could've just been a glitch, but then again one of EF's worst kept secrets was that it was never all that hard to hack.

Weird that he's just letting it sit there, for what, almost three years, now? Doesn't he have to pay for servers and stuff? Seems like it would make more sense to take it down, instead of wasting that money.

If you look at that link now, it seems that someone just bought a five-year lease on EF. We can't be sure what this means yet, though.

That feeling when you quickly look at another hypothetical debate website and see Charles Xavier put in the same character tier as an ant.
Edit: Like, for real, VS Battles Wiki is simultaneously a coolish website and complete shit (but often in a fairly entertaining way). The presentation of the site is good, and it's organised well for the most part, but the weird decisions in profiles and research mistakes like the above mentioned one just grate on me. It's often pretty obvious which series are favoured by the writers (i.e. Godzilla is given a bunch of different profiles for all his incarnations (which isn't a bad thing obviously) while Leatherface is only given one profile even though there's clearly been loads of Leatherfaces).
That website is weird, man. They have a profile for a hypothetical "combined human" with all the skills and traits of every person to ever exist multiplied ridiculously for some reason, so it's supposed to be capable of running as fast as a mid-flight jet for example. BECAUSE MATH SAYS SO!
