I respectfully have to bring something up:
That film is based off of the comic arc that everyone loves. Superman and Batman took down the villains controlled by Grodd using Batman's strategic mind combined with Superman's abilities. It was a great display of teamwork. Fighting all the villains does not make them less threatening. It shows how it took all those villains to fight Superman and Batman because by themselves they would be a idiot to try to face both men alone. Also you brought up yourself Grodd was controlling them so they obviously were not fighting like they usually would. You should know by now how powerful Grodd is as a telepath. Also Mongul has indeed gotten his ass kicked pretty badly Pre-Flashpoint in the comics more then once. However he did not look like a jobber in the film because he was controlled by grodd. Batman's role was inconsequential? Without Batman's help Superman would be dead, he would have been framed for Metallo's fake death, and the meteor would have crashed into Earth. Who said Major Force killing Metallo was suppose to be a surprise? The General Audience won't have a problem with it and comic fans by now should have read the story arc. Lex Luthor has not been a creep in the comics one or two times in the comics? Yea....
You were never suppose to be tricked into believing Batman would die dude.
I call tell you did not read the Superman vs Batman: Public Enemy it was based off of. I am just pointing this out.

No, I haven't read the story, and I shouldn't really have to. A film should be able to stand up on its own merits. But I have read about the story, and it apparently did follow it closely. I may have forgotten to mention that Batman's role was important, escpecially at the end, but because of the lack of focus put on him, it's quite easy to forget that he's even there quite a lot of the time. I know that Luthor can be a creepy guy at times, but the things he did in this film, most notably the afformentioned scene with the Wall, just made for very uncomfortable viewing.

The film does stand on its own merits. I just wanted to point out that's one of the best adaptions in the DC Animated film they put out. IGN gave it a 8.0 and it go good reviews all around. Its one of the best selling DC Animated films having sold 8 million or more. The success of this film and others is why Warner Brothers continued to adapt other comic books.

Well, that's your and their opinions. I didn't think it was that great. Another thing to point out is that the animation wasn't always consistent. In one scene, Luthor's armour towers over some normal human soldiers, but in another, it's around human-sized. And excellent sales figures does not automatically equal excellent quality.

Yea excellent sales figures equals quality when it gets good reviews on top of it. But your opinion. Not going off of opinion. I am going off of facts.
Now moving on I can't wait for Deadpool. Comic fans have been wanting a Deadpool film for years. They better go out and support the film if its good. Don't be stupid and not go see it when they have bitched for years they wanted a Deadpool film from Fox.

I've found that there are quite a lot of negative or lukewarm reviews of Public Enemies. It didn't get universal praise. Some entertaining content that gets immaculately reviewed can do terribly at the box office, and vice versa.

It was a fun Supes and Bats against all cartoon. Entertaining and cool...
Nothing spectacular about though, regardless of sales and reviews.
There were many others that were better.

That Michael Bay Turtle movie was a pretty fun ride, I thought. I've only watched various cartoon series and the old movies, though. Is there a version of them in the comics or something that are like the Michael Bay counterparts? I didn't think they were ever so freakishly huge and had super strength.. But my memory's not the greatest. And Mikey was a bit too creepy for my liking, as well. :/ And I still think they look weird as hell.
I was gonna watch Guardians of the Galaxy, but I can't find the blasted thing. I've looked in every box and bin with DVDs I could find, and still couldn't find it. Might have to just rent it someday. Like finding a needle in a haystack, if it's my brother's stuff..

GotG might be in my Top 5 Movies of All-Time. Keep in mind that that list is weird af. Like my childhood is Star Wars and Batman, but Dark Knight is the only movie from either universe to make it into my Top 5 and that's only because of Ledger's Joker.

When angry, they would grow into a monster form.

GotG might be in my Top 5 Movies of All-Time. This makes me even sadder that I can't find it. I did find Man of Steel, Captain America 2, and the new Night at the Museum, though. So something good came out of it. Gonna watch those and the new Mission Impossible, in the near future. Maybe Fantastic Four, as well. But I don't know if that one's worth watching..

Just buy GOTG online if possible or pre-order it somewhere. If you really can't get it dude buy it digitally on your XBOX or Sony game system. Brandon Lee's Crow is forever going to be in my top 5 favorite films of all time. I fucking love that film.

Like I said, I might try to rent it if I can't find ours. I can't really see myself buying it, though.. I'd much rather by another game or 2, with what that movie's still going for according to Amazon. Renting it is as good as buying it for me, anyways. I rarely rewatch anything.
