That's another aspect. They should not have killed off Bryan.
In fact, I'd loved it if he had been the protagonist instead of Ford. Ah well.

Ford wasn't even that bad in terms of disaster movie protagonists, but yeah, I agree. When you see Cranston's performance and are led to believe that he is going to be the main protagonist, the actor who plays Ford suddenly pales in comparison and we're all left disappointed that he has the most focus put on him.
I guess this sort of thing won't happen in the next films. Godzilla will hopefully be the main focus, since the three Showa monsters will probably be monsters he'd have no experience in fighting, unlike the MUTOs.

Oh I like the way they build up to Godzilla finally being revealed in the film. It was great and made it all the better when he showed up to fuck shit up.

Saw Star Wars Episode 7, was pretty good. Yeah, saw it a few hours ago. Been ranting and raving about it with friends. It was alright.

Saw Star Wars Episode 7, was pretty good. I liked it. I didn't love it. But I didn't hate it either... It's hard to enjoy something when all your friends are critics and dissect every itty bitty thing about a movie. :// that's just my personal experience though, I think.

It was frikkin awesome. There were a bunch of things that I could get nit-picky about but the main thing is is that I walked out of that theater and said "I just experienced Star Wars again". That movie captured Star Wars. It was awesome.

I heard a lot of people said its as good as the original Star Wars film. One critic pretty much said Abrams was born to make a Star Wars film.

It feels like an original Star Wars film in every way that the Prequel Trilogy didn't. Also, Kylo Ren is one of my new fav characters.

Like the opening font, which I am pretty sure is the wrong font. Also, some scenes I kept thinking "and scene!" where it should have ended, yet continued on anyway. But yeah, I enjoyed it immensely, it's pretty great and I look forward to the other ones.

If you wanted that movie to end then you're doing it wrong.

Think he means the scene. As in for pacing reasons.

If you wanted that movie to end then you're doing it wrong. Think he means the scene. As in for pacing reasons. Yes. For example, the final scene, Character X is holding something out to Character Y. Closeup on X's face and hand, holding the object. Movie should have had an abrupt cut there. Instead, it when on to have a pretty bad panoramic shot then the credits rolled.
Similarly, Character R's reveal was terribly executed.

OMG THAT SCENE EXACTLY. Exactly that! Hell, the only scenes that DIDN'T drag out were starship battles... And I, surprisingly, wanted more of those.

No, you guys just don't appreciate the scenery or music of Star Wars. Mainly because that was Ireland and Ireland is awesome. But I can kinda see where you're coming from. I'm okay moreso with the panoramic close-out than the lingering on Character X's face before the panoramic shot.
Also, Kylo Ren is one of my new fav characters. Because that needed to be reiterated.
