RDJ might be 50 but he doesn't look anywhere near there. Ruffalo and RDJ are fine. I agree, Professor X and Magneto are still playing chess for goodness sake! Then again, they are old actors playing old characters. The Babadook is actually a good horror movie, by the way.

The Academy is very biased on what films and actors/actresses they vote for. That's why these awards don't mean as much as they use to.

Even for the best animated feature? I may not have seen a lot but from what I've read/seen none of the others were close enough to it. How to Train Your Dragon 2 is probably the closest and is the only other movie I saw year that was animated. But even with as good of a story it wasn't as great.
Academy, GO TO HELL!

That looks animated. Well animated, but still not live action.

LOL its not fan made. It's actual test footage they had for the last film they were gone make and it went nowhere. I don't think its for the Deadpool film that starts production at the end of this year or next year.
By the way I liked that Fantastic Four trailer. It looks like a nice and hard sci fi flick. If it has a lot of fun and keeps true to the characters its going to be successful. Comic fans can whine all they want but those Fantastic Four comics go up and down in sales regardless of how good they are. Its comic fans fault they probably changed some things. Probably for the better for all we know.

The sci fi element and the theme of family seem to be predominate and I think thats the right direction to go. I just hope they do justice to Doctor Doom though. People may give the 2005 film shit but Doom was awesome in that movie. Loved his casting.

No matter what anyone says those two other Fantastic Four films were successful at the box office. I loved the second film with Silver Surfer and have it on DVD. Doom with the cosmic power chasing and battling the Fantastic Four was great.

No. Doctor Doom should not make terrible puns like that.

Thanks, for confirming that. I knew Deadpool looked animated in it, but I thought it may have been done for a reason(easier to have his head removed and still talk or something?). Or because it was just test footage, it wasn't the final product. If it isn't for the upcoming movie, I hope the movie will be something like it. If it's some toned down PG-13 movie, I'm gonna be real disappointed.. Especially, after seeing what could have been.

We could just take this over to the TV thread and talk about how DC-inspired shows are 1,000,000 times better than Marvel inspired ones. As well as anything animated.
While Marvel has been doing very well in the cinematic universe, just because they decided to add Spider-Man into the Avengers or whatever, doesn't mean it's going to be good. It means it'll be successful, much in the same line as Superman and Batman obviously will be. The name draws money, but it doesn't necessarily draw quality. For example, of the TM trilogy, Spider-Man 3 was the most successful and we all know that it sucked donkey dick.
