I don't have Plus, or I might be picking up a couple Lego games myself. But I got Final Fantasy Type-0 and Alien Isolation, so it's all good.
Type-0 has been a fun ride, thus far(almost 20 hours in). Best FF game I've played in a good while(not counting replays of past FF games I really liked). FFXV HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!

I should mention the ending sucks. :/
Playing Alien Isolation now, and it is the greatest fucking thing ever. This is like, the ultimate stealth game. You never know what the Xeno's gonna do, it's insane. I just hate dying and having to repeat a bunch a shit.. But it encourages me to play better and smarter.

You could be right. One thing about stealth games, though, is I always feel like I have the right tools for the job. I just have to figure out how to make said tools work. With Dark Souls/Bloodborne, is it like that? Or is it like most RPGs, where if you're dying it's time to grind levels! Yay! In fairness, I used to enjoy that when I was younger, but not so much anymore. I may have just discovered stealth games are my favorite genre, too. I get into one and you won't see me for a few days. Finally coming up for air, because I got the Plat last night. If anyone wants to see me gush all over this amazing game, here you go: Look for the Trunks avatar  . |

You very rarely have to grind in Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Sometimes I grind just to make it a bit easier and I want a little tweak here and there, but for the most part, it's all about your personal skill. Every time you die, it's less about "Oh, my character is weak" and moreso about "Oh, I misplayed that guy's combo" or "I got greedy and went too aggressive when I shouldn't have". With that said, there are a few builds that are weak early on in the game. For example, Bloodborne is a faster, more aggressive game. It's mechanically built that way. Dark Souls is much slower with defense and shields playing a large part. I went straight from BB into Dark Souls and knew the mechanical changes. So I made a High Dexterity character, who isn't as easy in the beginning but begins to gain traction in the early-mid game.

I think I'm just a cheap f*ck, but does it bother anyone else you can get AAA PS3 games for less than $4, and the lowest price on these PS2 games on PS4 is $6? This is mostly what I'm interested in, in this month's Flash Sale. Ones I've either never played or never finished. I've balked at the GTA trilogy multiple times, for roughly the same sale price per game. But I've played and finished those, too.. Thoughts?

I can't wait for the Friday the 13th Jason game to come out: If I remember rightly that game was originally meant to be an original property (just called come thing generic like "Summercamp") but the current owners of the Friday the 13th license were so impressed with the project that they gave them the right to use Jason. So the game probably is gonna be great. |

It pisses me off that Scribblenauts Unmasked isn't available in England. I'm a big fan of the Scribblenauts series, and I positively lost my shit when I heard about a crossover with the DC universe where you can summon pretty much anything from both worlds. But I can't buy it.
Speaking of, I've been wondering about other universes that should crossover with Scribblenauts. Marvel is an obvious choice, but what other ones would be good in your opinions?

Venom would enjoy Senran Kagura. Bunch of girls with tig ol' bitties. The one I'm playing is a rhythm game spinoff, though, and I can tell you right now, I am fricking awful at it. Easy is too easy. Normal is too damn hard. And Hard is definitely a "no way in hell, man." :/

Finished Assassin's Creed Liberation. Short game and a bit buggy on the PS3, but overall, I enjoyed the game. I haven't played an Assassin's Creed game since AC3 and that was back in 2012/2013, so it was nice to get back into the franchise. Decent story but the game shines in setting and the whole "Citizen E" thing was pretty unique. Starting up AC Rogue now because it's short and I can continue to procrastinate playing Black Flag. Not ready to dive into that yet.
