Resident Evil 4 is all I need out of that franchise. I have no desire to pick up the other ones, no matter how many more they fork out.

So excited for Overwatch, I played in the open beta weekend and got hooked, pre-ordered my copy after a few hours of playing. I might even buy a headset with mike for the game, since team chat is very important to those type of games. If anyone else is playing on PC, we can add each other to the Battle.net friendslist and run some games.

I think that SFXTK doesn't deserve nearly as much hate as it gets. Sure, some of the animation for combos look a bit naff for the SF side of the roster. Sure, some of the characters are often over simplified. And sure, the DLC was put in the disc before official release. But SFXTK is a fun as hell game, with such a great and expansive roster that has the best of both franchises and beyond. Initially the party game vibe given off by the fantastical arenas and goofy dialogue rubbed me the wrong way since the game was advertised to be a serious and gritty crossover fighter like nothing ever seen before, but after a while the party game vibe grew on me. It serves as a throwback to Capcom's heyday in the nineties when their crossover games were just crazy and full of continuity references. SFXTK is also one of the only fighting games I've mastered playing online. My King/Bob team was mad OP.

I think I was the only one who thought the addition of Bad Box Art Mega Man was frickin' hilarious. 

Besides, Tekken X Street Fighter will probably give us the gritty storyline the original trailers for this game promised. 

Finished Assassin's Creed Rogue. Cool game and a good plot. I like the fact that you play the Templars instead of the Assassin's. I also liked how the game had a lot of tie-in's with the other games, cause I love me some Haytham.

Anyway, think I'll start the Uncharted series finally.

Oh snap, guys, Ed Boon just changed his Twitter profile pic to a picture of the Roman numeral for 2. Injustice 2 confirmed? I genuinely think it might be, he's been hinting at it for ages now.

Someone has just asked Boon if it's a hint towards Injustice II or Mortal Kombat 11. I'd say it's a tad early for Mortal Kombat 11, especially since Kombat Pack 3 has been hinted at more than these two games combined. Injustice II, deffo.

So what would I want out of Injustice II? Firstly, the gameplay needs to be fixed up. Injustice's three button + one special attribute button layout has always been a bit uncomfortable for me, especially if one were to play Mortal Kombat beforehand. This is gonna sound silly, but just make the layout the same as MK, Netherrealm. Secondly, better graphics and animations. Face it, as cool as some of the stage transition moves were, too many of them looked goofy and terrible, like the Streets-to-Rooftops transition move in Gotham stage. If they're gonna bring that feature back, they should make it better. 

Thirdly... Get... Rid... Of those damned... Clash animations! You know the ones, the ones where the opponents can bring back health at the cost of super metre by initiating these stupid looking back cutscenes where the characters melodramatically charge at each other after quipping before exploding. They looked like shit, they killed the pace of Injustice matches, and were generally an unnecessary gimmick. 

The thing about Injustice II is that I don't know exactly where the story can go. The Regime earth was destroyed in Convergence (a bit of an extreme move on DC's part I have to say, especially after all of those well liked prequels comics I've heard so much about). The story mode will probably take place in some other dark parallel world. Who knows?

Then again, maybe this is all what Ed Bazie wants us to think, and it's actually gonna be War Gods 2.

I feel like it's on Riot that the two most recent champs are entirely useless in ranked. >.>
