SKWD 10: Symbiote-Possessed Composite Superman
There is a point, where comradely dies.
Android 18 learned this in the middle of the SKWD's epic encounter with Scrooge's SKWD.
The every member of the two sides fought an exhausting battle.
Whether it was the energy-fueled dog fight she was in with Blackfire, or Killer Croc and Goldar's slashing competition, every fight was daunting.
Red X and Shego had an interesting fight in the dock. Neither could land a hit. Sometimes Shego would be on the offensive, striking out with illuminated hands at her foe. He was able to dodge all of her advances. Then the tide would turn and he would progress toward her, spinning blades and all. She was equally skilled at avoiding blows. Their entire fight went this way.
Elsewhere, Rick Sanchez hid behind a stack of crates and threw the smoking raygun in his hand on the ground, "Burp! This gun's ****-ing ****-ed. His opponent, Dr. Neo Corex, had used his jet pack to fly on top of some warehouse. Rick recounted how he got into this mess. All to get revenge on Amanda Waller for killing his favorite Morty. He contemplated leaving, he could always get another Morty, there was a Morty daycare filled with Rick-less Morties. That sounded like the place to be right now. He took his dimension hopping device and fled into another realm.
Dr. Neo Cortex had no idea that happened. He continued to banter with the other mad scientist. Yelling things down from the building like, "I'll show you whose mind is superior!" and "You call that a laserbeam? This is a laserbeam!" and continued shooting down at someone who had left.
As I said, as with most of their bloody encounters, Goldar and Croc were cut to ribbons. Both bleeding profusely. Croc didn't seem to be slowing down this time, his crocodile smile growing toothier with every scratch. This was severely psyching Goldar out, seeing no end to this fight. "You look nervous?" Croc laughed and pointed at his torn torso, "is it the scars?"
"I know you stole that line!" Goldar swung his sword widely and missed, "I just can't remember from where!"
"A friend of mine, a sick friend of mine," Croc head butted his opponent, who stumbled backward.
Scrooge and Waluigi had started off their part of the battle as a legitimate fight, both sword fighting with their cane and tennis racket, respectively. Once the weapons got smacked away, the two brawled with their fists in a sort of boxing match. It then degenerated into a rolling scuffle, like two high school girls fighting. And ultimately ended with a slapping contest, not unlike a strong style wrestling match or the Pikachu fight from Pokemon the First Movie. Big broad smacks to the side of the face.
Xigbar and Ralph's fight was one-sided, with Xiggy teleporting, firing, and disappearing before Ralph could hit him. It ended with Wreck-It Ralph curdled up in a ball and Xigbar laughing at him.
That takes us back to the sky, where the powerful beauties were doing battle. Blackfire was breathing heavily when she wiped a bit of blood from the side of her mouth. "You're tougher than you look," she said.
"Really?" 18 said coldly, "I thought you'd be stronger. Like, really? You're supposed to be the great equalizer that stands up to me? You're not in my league, you're pathetic."
Blackfire's eyes grew purple with energy, "I'll show you pathetic!" And began to charge at the android.
Before they made impact, a blimp slowly floated over the battle. The bottom of the blimp had a massive monitor on the bottom. Some of the warriors noticed it creep into view and stopped to look at the odd site, some did not see it and continued their skirmish.
Suddenly, the screen flashed white and Amanda Waller's face appeared on it. "Hello SKWD." Everyone froze after hearing the Wall's voice. "I see almost everyone is here! How nice! I usually don't give into theatrics like this, but since you'll all be dead soon, I'll indulge."
From where Croc and some others were standing, her face was upright. Someone like Cortex who was differently position had to watch this screen like she was upside down.
"You SKWD members have made a fool of me. I do not like being the butt of the joke. To make sure this doesn't happen again, I'm going to teach you all a lesson. A lesson so well received, that now one will cross me again. Not only am I going to slowly kill every last one of you, everyone you love will also die." Waller chuckled "I do promise to send them a fine flower arrangement to the funeral home. Nightly, night SKWD. You were useful, at times."
This was the moment the motive behind her actions disappeared for 18. Images of her husband's and daughter's faces flashes in her mind. She was the only one fast enough to escape at this point, disappearing at supersonic speeds toward home.
The rest had to stay there and fight what was on his way.
The TV on the blimp fell from its place, Scrooge McDuck and Waluigi had to run out of the way so it didn't land on them. They would later wish it had crushed him.
Next, hundreds of super villains descended from that very blimp where the TV had fallen.
If you can name any bad guy in any form of media, he or she was most likely in that goddamn balloon:
Katz from Courage the Cowardly Dog, the Flash's entire Rouges Gallery, the LA Kings hockey team, a dozen Heartless, the Marvel Zombies, Borg drones, Gaston, Coronal Sanders, Pedobear, The Iron Sheik, Robo-Snail, Adolf Hitler, Jango Fett and his Clone Troopers, the ghost of Ben Franklin, the Nostalgia Critic, Lord Voldamort, the Toiletnater, and even ****-ing Joe from Blue's Clues were some of the first to hit the ground. It was like the Ultimate Showdown or something. That doesn't even mention the hoard of others still falling from the sky. The Gary Oaks and the James Woodses and the Davey Joneses and pretty much an endless array of bad guys rained down to take out the SKWD.
18 escaped all that noise, and landed near her home in a matter of minutes.
The house was destroyed. Marron stood, cowering in a corner, her husband laying prostate on the ground. She couldn't read his energy level.
The being cornering her daughter. It looked like half Superman, half Batman, half Carnage. The right half of his body, the dark knight portion, had his clawed fist raised.
"Get your hands off me daughter you monster!" she screamed as she charged up ki in both of her hands.
The abomination turned around and sneered at her. A thin symbiot offshoot launched itself at Marron, wrapping around her. He then tried to fly away with her.
"You are a dead man!" 18 rushed Symbiote-Possessed Composite Superman. She had to immediately put on the breaks as he put Marron between him and her. His smile grew big. 18 had never been so scared. And pissed.

So cliffhanger over, kind of. That how all that nonsense went down. Composite Superman is possessed by Carnage, has a tentacle on 18's daughter and will use that to his advantage. The winner of the contest has no impact on Marron's fate. Can 18 win this fight? Is there too much at risk? You tell me, man, and I won't forget to add the character links this time.
