SKWD PART SIX: JUMP CITY STREETS
Killer Croc landed a monstrous uppercut that lifted the Auzzie slightly, before he landing in the mud.
Steve landed with a thud, and was left half submerged in the ankle deep water, breathing slowly. "Blimey..."
Croc picked him up by his khaki shorts and dangled the supposed "hunter" up-side down. "I'm not going to lie to you, Steve," he grunted, "I haven't eaten all day."
"Don't eat me, mate!" Irwin pleaded, "take Jake, there's more meat on his bones." He motioned to his cameraman.
The pair looked in the camera guy's direction. He was gone. The only evidence of his presence there was the tripod he left behind.
"Damn," the Crocodile Hunter sighed.
Croc prepared to take his first bite, but was interrupted by a voice with a heavy Scottish accent.
"What are ye doin'?" Croc turned around to see a duck in a black tophat.
"Scram quackers," he turned back to his lunch, "or you'll be next."
"Aye, I guess you could do that," the duck shrugged, "or you could get revenge on the scalawag who betrayed you and sent ye here."
Croc paused, "what are you talking about?"
"Put the poor lad down and we'll talk about it."
He thought about what the bird was saying for a second and dropped the glorified zookeeper, "You better have something worth saying, because I'm starving."
"Me name is Scrooge McDuck!" He tipped his hat, "And I know where we can find Goldar."

The two relocated to a spaceship looking structure that Scrooge had parked in the middle of the swamp.
"This here device was made by Duckberg's own Gyro Geargoose," he explained, "it can hop in between dimensions. It's how I found you."
Croc's eyes nearly turned red due to sheer rage, "They threw me into another dimension!?"
"Aye. I'm glad I found you, we have developed common enemies."
"What did The blue monkey do to you?"
"Not Goldar! That android! She took off with me safe! All me coins! I have to get it back and make her pay."
"How much money we talkin'?" Croc's interest was piqued.
"That doesn't concern you! Stop thinking about me money and stop thinking about eating me or I'll leave you in this universe that's almost completely populated by Steve Irwins!"
Croc looked at the controls. Unfortunately, he needed the duck to get out of here.
"I have conditions," Croc said.
"Hmm?"
"First off, we're going to Taco Bell."

"My name, is Red X. I used to have a name before this, a name my mother gave me, but I forgot it long ago."
"I was inspired by the original Red X. Seeing his cape and bitchin' mask on TV screens. Running on top of buildings, fighting imposing authority figures. His crusade spoke to me."
"But it was a ruse. It was a good guy in disguise. I can't express in words how much this angered me. The Red X I knew was a lie. I got a wild hair up my ass one morning, thinking I could be the Red X. I wanted to see in the world. That's why I took the costume. It was much easier than I expected."
"It's funny, my pseudo-inspiration is now my greatest adversary. He's on this vendetta to get his suit back. He can't stop me tho, I'm on the super powered level now. Nothing will stop me from doing what I want.

The dimension jumping ship landed in an an unfamiliar city. Croc hadn't finished chewing his crunch wrap supreme when he asked, "I thought we were going to Belle Reve?"
"We can't go with jus the likes of us!" Scrooge put the Machine in Park, "we will require assistance."
He swallows his fast food, "Like who?"
"Other fellas crossed by the SKWD, possibly. Or maybe others with agendas that match ours."
"How do you even know what's going on with the SKWD, it's covert, big government secret stuff."
"When you're as wealthy as I am, you can know anything you want to know."
"Who are we getting here?"
"This dimension should feel somewhat similar to ya," Scrooge lowered the the staircase to get to the ground, "its an off-shoot. Slightly different than what you're used ta."
"I don't like it, colors are funny."
"Don't cha be worrying about that, we have friends to make."
"Like who?"
"I hear there's a fella made out of cinderblocks here, and I've always wanted one of those."

"Just stole an amethyst necklace for this babe I like. Jet black hair, can throw a punch, has an utter disdain for authority. n the run from lizard police from space, if I'm understanding the story correctly. I'm already in love with her."
"I see her flying across the night, glowing in an powerful aura. I catch up to her and present my gift."
"She's not pleased."
"I have to move more quickly than usual to dodge the things shes blasting at me, until we hear a loud noise."
"In the middle of the harsh Jump City streets, appears some kind of space ship or something."
"The chick, being a space babe, looks at it with devious want in her eyes. She tells me she's not familiar with the craft model, but thinks it can help get her home."
"I didn't want her to leave, but I didn't have the heart to keep her on this miserable planet. God knows I would leave if I could."
"I tell her I'd help. She squeals in excitement and gives me a little hug. Now I'm all in. Just need to beat the animal people walking out of the ship now."
