As the title suggests this is a thread to appreciate older movies that many overlook just because they're old, even though they might have compelling characters and stories, well here we discuss older movies we enjoyed, dissect them and make recommendations.
I'll start off with a movie I enjoyed that was old The Caine Mutiny, Humphrey Bogart plays Captain Queeg a crazy destroyer captain in WWII his strict adherence to regulations, strange decisions and odd quirks drove the crew to the breaking point and he was relieved of command, later the crew faces charges of mutiny.
I actually relate to this movie since I serve in the military I had a boss who was very much like Captain Queeg so I kind of feel a personal connection to the characters and what they're going through. It's a great drama with great performances from the cast.
Anyways anyone else have an old movie they loved?

Old movie appreciation? Yep, definitely a topic for the fans of such. Moved to Fan Discussion.
Anyways, I'll say the first Predator film. I just rewatched it recently, and I'd say it's a bit underrated, if for the final showdown more than anything.

Desperado, The Crow, Dark City, The Original Tron, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Scarface, and Blade Runner will always be among my favorite classic films. Boyz in the Hood, Jackie's early films like Supercop or Rumble in the Bronx, Jet Ki's early films like Fist of Legend or Black Mask, Kickboxer, The Quest, and others are great. There just is too many to name.

I just got to say the original Jurassic Park was amazing, and the special effects hold up pretty well today, it's one of my faves I like the adventure and the characters and the music is great.

While sometimes under appreciated, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mortal Kombat.
