Broken Tusk Predator
Broken Tusk, or Dachande, is a fictional character from Dark Horse Comics' Alien vs. Predator comic book series. He is a member of the Yautja, a species of extraterrestrial warriors.
Though his given name was Yeyinde, "brave one", the yautja under his command nicknamed him Dachande meaning "different knife", referring to the lower left tusk broken in unarmed combat with a Xenomorph. Machiko Noguchi similarly referred to him as Broken Tusk, but also learned the pronunciation of 'Dachande' in the warrior's tongue as "Dah-shan-day".
Dachande had a brother, Nei'hman-de, who was killed by an Alien on their first Hunt together. He was Blooded by Ani-de, whom Dachande would eventually succeed as Leader of the yautja on board the spacecraft known as the Ne'dtesei.
After his death, he is succeeded by Top-Knot.
The Broken Tusk from the Alien vs Predator miniseries by Dark Horse Comics was very honorable, going as far as to kill a young member of his own kind when he found out that the young hunter had killed a human child. Like many predators, he was very intelligent, mimicking voices when it was most fit ( ex: When Conover realized he had a Chestburster inside him, Tusk took out a gun, saying: "I can make it quicker-easier for you,").
