Too much? At least it will fill the void that was going to be left when Shippuden finally ends. It's a bit insane how much money I've invested into that series.. 38 DVD sets at about $30 a pop, plus a handful of movies at $15-20 a piece. Well over a grand by now, holy sh...
And then I sit here being stubborn/stingy, not wanting to pay a little over $20 for a One Piece set, which have about double the episodes over the Naruto ones. What the hell is wrong with me?

That's crazy. You're crazy. I am probably too much of a hoarder when it comes to my electronics, though.. But I also loathe reselling since you only get a tiny fraction of what you paid in most cases.

 It's not like buying Naruto is keeping me from buying One Piece. Or that I am in need of money for the remaining sets available, that desperately. Like I said, I've just been being stubborn/stingy. Or an even better word: cheap. :/ Sets 1-10 I paid less than $20 for, so I've been waiting for 11 to drop a few bucks. ...And it's just not happening. And now set 12 is out. So very shortly I will probably be swallowing my pride, and just paying a few bucks more for them. As I said, they're still an infinitely better value than Naruto(or pretty much anything owned by VIZ), anyways. |

Eh. Maybe. I don't know if I really have a preference, to be honest. My fav out of the big 3 used to be Bleach... until it became bloated with horrible filler and I simply lost interest. I can at least stand (most of)Naruto's filler. But I'll concede One Piece probably has the best filler, because I can't even tell which episodes they are. Someone would literally have to point it out to me, or I'd have to look it up. But if I sold every series I own, because I thought another one was "better," I'd only have DBZ DVDS.  |

I saw the 4Kids dub of One Piece and went *shudders* to Naruto. Then one day in college I was watching Shippudenn and went "Wow why do I like this?" and couldn't answer it. Jumped ships to Bleach and was reminded how awesome Yu Yu Hakusho was. One Piece threw out a lifesaver and showed me my mistake kindly by the power of sheer awesomeness. And it didn't hurt that Funimation took over the dub. |
