Yeah, I don't see why it's so highly rated (granted, I'm still three episodes away from finishing it). Maybe I need to analyze it more. I mean, the action is excellent, but I'm a little disappointed at how many characters are only introduced so you feel bad when they are quickly squashed by the Titans. From what I've been told, it's the "Walking Dead" of anime.

I don't know if I agree with that analogy. The first season of Attack on Titan didn't put me to sleep.
ZING!
(I kid, I kid. I've only seen the first season of the walking dead and it was not as engaging as the comic. I'll try to see the other seasons at some point)

Ah, I see.. Carry on, then. Thought that was a shot, at them both being overrated, or something to that effect. Although, I'd have to agree with Marv; comic's better. But I still like the show. And Glenn's still alive, so there's that. They kill Glenn, and I'm out. .. Although, I did come to really like Beth, last season. Okay, they kill Glenn and Beth, and I'm out. ..But what if they bring someone new in, that's really cool. Or make someone, currently in the group, awesome in a flash, like they did Beth.. Okay, they kill Glenn, Beth, and this possibly new or reborn character I like, then I'm out. AHHHH, who are we kidding? We all know, I'm not going to stop watching a show about zombies!

Finished the first season of Attack on Titan today. Moving onto Detroit Metal City (I'm going through this list that I saw on the EF once. There was this admin named Landon who ran an anime blog and he seemed to know his stuff)
Which reminds me, has anyone seen Hetalia?

Ordered Sands of Destruction and .Hack//Quantum, today. Been wanting both, for awhile, now.. Finally, decided to pull the trigger, with Amazon's "$5 off my order" offer. Done by installing their 1Button App, via this link, if anyone else wants to try it. Seems to be a bit buggy; I had to contact Amazon, since it wasn't working, and was given $5 promotional credit. Worked fine, on a couple of other orders, but I didn't go through with either of them. One, because an item was sold, while I was trying to decide what else to buy, to get free shipping. The other, 'cause I'm not paying $40, for a game. But just wanted to see if it would have worked, with it. Not sure why it didn't want to register, with the anime DVDs. But yeah, always been a fan of .hack. Maybe one of these days, I'll buy the individual volumes of Roots. Bandai never put out an official set, so any out there, are bootlegs. And Sands of Destruction, is an anime series, loosely based on a DS game I own, of the same name. Same characters, but supposedly a very different story. Hopefully, it's decent. Buying anime is a very difficult process, for me.. I rarely want to take a chance, in the event I won't like it. But then, once I've watched it, I don't know if I want to own it, since that would require watching it again(too many returns, in the past, on scratched beyond playability DVD sets, have made it pretty much mandatory, for me to watch them, as soon as I get one). And Amazon's recommendations are... nonsensical, sometimes. I was leafing through them, today, and there was a, ahem, h-word DVD, in them. o.O And here's their reasoning: "Recommended because you said you owned Dragon Ball Z: Season 2 (Namek and Captain Ginyu Sagas)." :/

Thoughts on Blue Gender, Gun X Sword, and El Cazador de la Bruja? Thinking of buying the first 2. El Cazador, I watched a few episodes of, last night. Was only going to watch one... but then got hooked. :/ I see it's part of a series, called "Girls With Guns." Should I watch Noir and Madlax, if I continue to enjoy this one? Probably will end up watching Attack On Titan, at some point. Space Dandy, too. Got to keep up, with Toonami.

Damn snail mail.. Finally got my DVDs, yesterday. And started watching them, today. .Hack was pretty awesome. Might have to watch that, again.. It's everything I loved about the PS2 games/Sign/Legend of the Twilight all wrapped up neatly, in a condensed package. Was a bit worried, when I saw it was about a group of 3 highschool girls. ^^' But it turned out all right, in the end.
Think I stopped, somewhere during the fifth episode of SoD(when family got home, and I helped bring in the groceries. Never got back to it, after that). That's been an enjoyable watch, as well. Might be better, if you're a fan of the game, but I don't know.. Played the game first, so.. yeah. Don't really think you need to have played it, to watch the series, though. Unlike Tales of Phantasia, which was like, just the game's ending. Wouldn't recommend that one, if you haven't played the game. ^^'

Anybody seen Gurren Lagann and/or it's female equivalent Kill la Kill?
Got some friends who are really pushing me to see it.

Kill la Kill. Good shitake. I don't recall anyone else saying anything about it, and I haven't seen it. So, that's all I got. Gurren Lagann, on the other hand, I really really liked.. the first 8 episodes. That's all I can say, without a huge spoiler. But after that episode, it went off of my "must own" list. Well, that and I recorded it, when my DVD Recorder was still kicking. It's still a fun ride, though.

Gurren Lagann is 80's and 90's action movies channeled into Anime form.
Kill la Kill is about two girls fighting over clothes at the end of the day.
