The problem with recommending warranties is, as is the case with a lot of things, your mileage may vary. The 360 was seeing all sorts of problems, with the "Red Rings of Death(RROD)," so it seemed like a good idea, to not risk it. Finally did RROD, while I was playing Blue Dragon, after about 22 months of use. The PSP, on the other hand, I hadn't really heard of having problems. May be why I misplaced the paperwork, thinking there wouldn't be a problem with it. Or moving.. Stuff tends to get lost, when you move every 6 months. ._. Could have not payed $20 for the Vita's, but considering my luck, with my previous 2 systems, I needed the peace of mind.
I actually used a universal cord, as my second test, so being proprietary wasn't really an issue. It's just the port, where you plug a plug into it, is messed up. I can't play it, off a plug, so to speak. And can't charge it, unless I remove the battery, and put it in the charger. It's just annoying to do, since I'd have to be sure I save, before the power started to get low, or I'd lose whatever progress I'd made. If all my PSP games, were available on the Vita's digital store, I'd probably just toss it. Sadly, they're not.

Saw a preview for The Walking Dead, the other day. Showed Glenn on his knees, with a guy standing behind him, holding a baseball bat. Something tells me I may stop watching, this season...

I wanted to give some thoughts on a couple of things really quickly.
When that happened in the comics thats when I stopped reading Walking Dead and was done with it. Same damn stuff over and over again. I stopped watching Walking Dead after that because I stopped caring about the comic and that caused me to not be interested in the show. Also Gotham is great and so much fun to watch. I can't wait to see the rise of the Mob throughout the years all the way up until Batman is born. In addition you get the feeling this show will probably end with James Gordon finally losing hope after all these years but only to regain it when Batman is born.
The Flash Pilot- Look like CW has another winner based on every review I have read. I can't wait.
The Originals- Best vampire shit going on today. F**king love it and can't wait for Season 2.
Vampire Diaries- So many people better die this season.
Constantine- I like the fact based on the trailer it's pulling a lot from the original Hellblazer comics storywise and adding a little new 52 to it. I could be wrong but either way it looks good.

The latest Dr Who episodes are reeeeally good. Nothing short of spectacular, actually. Peter Capaldi's Doctor is way better than Matt Smith's Doctor, in my opinion. I like how Clara leaves the TARDIS in Kill the Moon, as if she had had enough of the Doctor's bullsh-... Nonsense.

I started with the show, so maybe that's why I'm still into it. That point really did suck, in the comics, though.. I was hoping, with some of the other difference between the comic and TV show, maybe his fate would be different. Doesn't mean it won't, though. We could be reading too much into that trailer, for all we know. With the comic, I come back to it, every so often(reading a single issue, every 30 days, would drive me batty, so I have to space it out.  ) I want to see what happens to Negan, for one(haven't read it, for awhile, if this has already been resolved). But I don't really feel like it's the same stuff over and over. Every big arc, has had some pretty significant differences, in my opinion. This one with Negan, doesn't seem to want to end, though... |
