Some explanation is in order:
I've been posting the Secret Wars and Megastory on another site Writerscafe.org to expose my fanfiction work to other people. Since it's not match based I've rewritten everything and it's all going in a different direction from what's posed here. I'm putting this one up to get your insight on the fight. The story will include the battle but I'm cutting it off before that to see what you have to say.
Vicious, Frost, Doomguy, Rain, Zuko. These were the first five recruits that Baron Zemo had brought into his new Masters of Evil.
The first order of business was to have a victory. No one wanted to be apart of a loosing team.
A simple hit would bolster everyone’s confidence.
After GI Joe officially defeated the terrorist organization called Cobra, much of Cobra’s vast array of weapons and equipment were
confiscated.
The American’s didn’t know about all of Cobra’s holdings so some of their assets remained at large just like some of their operatives.
Through the grape vine, Zemo heard about a small base that the American’s had missed.
Anyone who could make a claim on it would have a nice collection of Cobra weapons, gear and vehicles.
Zemo could easily buy what he needed, but even he had to admit that this was a bargain.
But others had heard about the base.
The CIA wasn’t sure if the rumors were real but they didn’t want to find out the hard way that they were wrong either way. Instead
of calling in GI Joe like they were supposed to do, an operative named Church hired a mercenary team- The Expendables- to check
out the claims.
The Expendables arrived first and found what would make ‘The Agency’ very happy. About fifty rifles, and thirty pistols all exclusive
Cobra designs. There were a few Cobra flight pods or ‘bubbles’ as GI Joe typically called them. A couple of all-terrain assault
motorcycles called Coils were parked beside a pair of Fangs- the gyro-coptors. Most excitedly were the Rator and the Night Raven.
Both Cobra limited planes were disassembled.
It didn’t go over various members heads that they could make good use of this hardware but using Cobra gear would be more
trouble internationally than even double crossing the CIA.
Ross would honor their contract and secure the site for the US.
“I’m disappointed.” Lee Christmas complained.
“What’s wrong?” asked Doctor Death.
“I was hoping they’d have one of those robots here. I got a buddy in Joe that told me about the Battle Android Troopers that Cobra
used to throw at ‘em. I wanted to see one.”
“I heard about those too.” Hale Caesar joined in. “I really don’t think you want to encounter one of those things.”
“Hey! We got incoming!” Billy ‘the kid’ shouted.
All of the Expendables rushed to spy the incoming transport.
“Did Church follow us in?”
“Couldn’t have.” Ross sneered. “He would have just came with us.”
“I don’t recognize the design.” Toll Road commented. “Is it hostile?”
“I don’t know.” Said Ross. “But let’s not take any chances. Fan out and find some cover.”

Zemo took one of Hydra’s air transports. He had it painted to minimize the affiliation. The Masters of Evil exited the vehicle once it
went into cool down.
From what the Expendables could see, none of the passengers looked like they were expecting opposition.
The masked Baron Zemo, while not as famous as men such as Magneto and Osama Bin Laden, did have a place on the watch list.
The Expendables recognized him and immediately knew that this was a dangerous situation.
Zemo was one to associate with supertypes. That was why most people just called for S.H.I.E.L.D. who in turn notified the Avengers
or one of the other super groups.
These people with Zemo must have been super powered beings.
The Expendables got it into their heads that they could take this bunch. Beside the morality of Zemo getting control of this Cobra
gear, they wouldn’t be paid if they didn’t deliver. And so they attacked.
Fight Parameters:
The Masters of Evil include: Baron Zemo, Vicious, Frost, Rain, Doomguy and Zuko
The Expendables include everybody from all three movies accept for Arnold's character, Bruce Willis' character and Chuck Norris' character.
The Expendables area spread out and have cover. The Masters of Evil are unaware that they are about to be ambushed. The Cobra gear is available for use if people can quickly figure out how to use it but most of the stuff is unloaded and not really combat ready.
