Hard call here. Aralest has more weapons and more probably. But that hammer of Steel has smacked around some of Superman's strongest villains. Hard call.

Arbalest wins. It really doesn't pack weapons like a Gundam but this particular model has what's called a Lambda Driveer that let's it to some telekinetic type stuff such as shield it from point blank gunfire, throw telekinetic bombs that blow other mecha apart.
Plus the pilot- Souske Sagara- although just a teenager is a trained solider unlike Steel. The only downside is that Souske has never mastered using the Lambda Driver and it sometimes fails him in battle.
Short of that, the Arbalest wins.
