The Amityville House (112 Ocean Avenue)

112 Ocean Avenue was the site of an infamous murder-suicide but had always had a dark and twisted history, the area in which the building was made seeming to be a magnet for Satanic influences which would ultimately merge with the building and grant it a malicious life of its own, according to the film it was the house that drove its former resident to the murder-suicide and it would not take long for a new family to arrive, unaware of the grisly past.

The house wasted little time in showing its malevolent nature as it manifested many supernatural phenomena and demonic spirits in order to torment its new owners, seeking to drive them to the same dark fate as its previous occupants - it even attacked a priest brought by the family to bless it, forming a cloud of flies to torment him while also inflicting him with dizziness and stomach-aches, the house then confronted the priest itself by opening a door and loudly screaming at him to "get out".

Unfortunately for its new owners this would just be the beginning of their Satanic roller-coaster ride as the malicious entity they had made their "home" began to grow ever-bold in its attempts to drive them insane.
