Kir Kanos (Star Wars) & The Twins (The Matrix)
vs.
David Rice (Jumper) & Deadshot (DC)
Location: suburban neighborhood
Tournament rules
The teams simply appear in their environments at 100% health and strength. They have no prep time before the battle. They know instinctively that they are to fight together against the team in front of them. The partners do know each other because the 1 on 1 rounds happened so they’ve been on the receiving end of each others’ attacks. All characters are in their regular mindset but are properly motivated to win within their moral boundaries. To win: -submission/incapacitation (unable to continue fighting for a ten second count) -knock out (again, ten second count) -out of ring (if on a rooftop, cliff or something) flight negates this avenue of victory -death/destruction
2nd chance round add ons:
-The characters appear, from their perspective, immediately after their last fight back at 100%. - - They have their memories of working with their partner last time but they haven’t seen any of the other teams yet. So these fights are all still first encounters.
Round 2 add ons: The characters have now seen the other round 1 fights (and 1 on 1 fights I guess too) They still appear immediately after their last fight back at 100% but now they’ll recognize their opponents a little. But there’s no actual downtime for planning. They’ll have to think fast.

Team 2 wins because they have the location advantage. Deadshot has so many damn places to hide and shoot from a distance. David has so many cars, weapons, and more to teleport to use against the Twins from out of nowhere. Team 2 wins

My thing though is Rice can't fight. He's a better teleporter than Nightcrawler because he can apparently teleport places he's never been, but if he tries to take out The Twins, they're going to murder him. Unless Deadshot gives him direction I guess. But Rice is the weak link for sure.

No he isnt. Unlike Nightcrawler, David can teleport and drop a car on the twins. He could grab a flamethrower from across the country and then teleport back to burn the twins. David does not need to know to fight H2H combat to beat them. Also Rice has Deadshot who will plan out their attack. With Deadshot guiding them David will be Team 2's big advantage.
