The Tick vs. Jack Baker; who would win in a battle in a Camp Crystal Lake cabin?
The Tick's powers:
- "Nigh-invulnerability". The Tick was completely bulletproof and able to withstand a lot of kinds of other physical punishment.
- Superhuman strength. The Tick was capable of flinging people and heavy objects around with absolute ease.
The Tick's weaknesses:
- Stupidity/mental disease. While the Tick's origins in the 2016 show are still wrapped in mystery, so his original incarnation's origins as an escaped asylum patient may not apply to him, there is still clearly something very off about the Tick, the bizarre superhero costume notwithstanding. He was simpleminded, seemingly incapable of listening, prone to reckless action and was generally very spaced out from reality at all times.
Jack Baker's powers:
- Superhuman durability/healing factor. Due to the effects of the Mould, Jack was capable of withstanding extreme injuries and healing from them in very short order, with neither bullet wounds nor chainsaw wounds slowing him down for long. His healing factor had limits, though.
- Superhuman strength. Jack was shown to be able to effortlessly smash down solid brick walls.
- Hive consciousness. Jack was mentally linked to most other members of his family due to the influence of the Mould, and deep within his consciousness he was still capable of communicating with people as a normal person, whereas outwardly he appeared to be a raving lunatic, again due to the Mould's affect on him. Through the Mould's, Jack's original, nicer personality from before he and his family were afflicted with the Mould was able to survive beyond death and communicate with Ethan Winters within his mind.
- Mutation. When he was significantly damaged, Jack was capable of mutating into a monstrous reptilian entity covered in bulging eyeballs.
Jack Baker's weaknesses:
- Mental instability. The Mould caused Jack to be inhumanly aggressive, sadistic and isolationist.
- Jack Baker was vulnerable to a special decontamination serum which could completely crystallise his entire body instantly.
