Reign In the Shadows (Intro)

“So, you're really going to do this huh? ” the wispy voice could barely be heard above the roar of the wind that screeched at the walls of the old house “This world is different from the others.” dusty light oozed in from the dirty holes that decorated the ceiling and wrapped themselves around the tall skinny body of the speaker. The walls of the old building were decorated in faded graffiti and cracks that allowed the cool autumn air of Janus city to leak into the dimly lit room.



“Yes.” replied the shadowy figure that stood with his back turned to the slender man “It is the strangeness of this realm that makes it so attractive, Malik.” his voice filled the room, mingling with the creaks of the building and the whistle of the wind as it slipped through the cracks in the walls. The shadow cloaked figure turned its head slightly towards Malik “We are not the only ones who have noticed this place. Soon this world will be catalyst.”



“A catalyst for what?”



“Death; and Rebirth”



“Ah, I see.”



“Be weary Mr.Zaqar” The shadowy figure returned his gaze to where it had been before “‘The banks of The Styx touch all and devour all.’” as he spoke he slowly started to fade away, although his voice didn’t change “And the Ferryman spares none.”
