Shocker (Marvel) & King (King of Fighters)
vs.
Tri-Klops (Masters of the Universe) & Robin (Tim Drake) (DC)
Location: junkyard
Tournament rules
The teams simply appear in their environments at 100% health and strength. They have no prep time before the battle. They know instinctively that they are to fight together against the team in front of them. The partners do know each other because the 1 on 1 rounds happened so they’ve been on the receiving end of each others’ attacks. All characters are in their regular mindset but are properly motivated to win within their moral boundaries. To win: -submission/incapacitation (unable to continue fighting for a ten second count) -knock out (again, ten second count) -out of ring (if on a rooftop, cliff or something) flight negates this avenue of victory -death/destruction
2nd chance round add ons:
-The characters appear, from their perspective, immediately after their last fight back at 100%. - - They have their memories of working with their partner last time but they haven’t seen any of the other teams yet. So these fights are all still first encounters.
Round 3 add ons: The characters have now seen the other round 1 fights (and 1 on 1 fights I guess too) They still appear immediately after their last fight back at 100% but now they’ll recognize their opponents a little. But there’s no actual downtime for planning. They’ll have to think fast.

Hard match here. Shocker has enough power in his glove to put down Tri-Klops but Robin definitely has enough gadgets as well as weapons to put down King. It depends if Robin can put down King before Shocker takes out Tri-Klops then Robin can help Tri-Klops take out Shocker. But Robin does not have the speed like Spiderman to dodge Shocker's blasts and Shocker would have no problem bringing the junkyard down around Robin. I find myself leaning toward Team One.

Tri-Klops has blasters of his own. Plus those flying drone things from the 2002 cartoon. And he's like the premier blind swordman of Eternia. I think he and robin would be resourceful enough to beat Shocker and King.
